Defiant Wrestling put up Will Ospreay/WALTER on their YouTube yesterday and it's a doozy.

I saw an interview with KO post-Summerslam (can't find it now) and he opined the booking a little, something along the lines of "There are highs and lows in every wrestling career. Chalk that one up to a low and move on." Seems like he knows how things work and also didn't he just sign on for another five years? And agreed, vicious ass kicker Owens is the best Owens. I don't know about him as a face in WWE, but I'm kind of hoping that promo is leading to renewed heel push (if there's even room for another top level heel right now).

Think they were kept in reserve for a future Network special?

Reigns does deserve a good run after all this nonsense and should have one so he can build some momentum, but all this nonsense is ongoing so it wouldn't surprise me that after a year plus of not pulling the trigger on either man that they hotshot the title to Strowman (and probably back again).

We're truly living in the golden age of WWE not being able to read their audience at all.

KOR is quickly becoming one of my favorite wrestling goofballs, and it mixes great with his particular style and Terry Funk selling. Fantastic main event too. The NXT roster is so stacked right now and there's so many potential matches I want to see, I kind of hope they put a little freeze on hiring/firing/sending to main roster so we can get through them all. Or at least Keith Lee/Lars Sullivan.

That's a solid point! No booking is as bad as 2000 WCW, but nobody has wasted as much potential as current day WWE. The latter is definitely a worse transgression.

If it was 2000 WCW booking, Braun would be a Fat Chick Thrilla' (tm) and the Shield would have 20 guys in various colours of flak jackets and Ric Flair would still be getting pinned in world title matches. Nothing is as bad as 2000 WCW booking.

I just rewatched the final moments to be sure, but it sounded to me like the crowd was turning on Gargano pretty hard before Ciampa came out for another round of posing. And why shouldn't they? Dude was winning what is (in kayfabe) the biggest match of his life and all he had to do was nothing because his opponent was giving up, literally begging to be spared, but instead he makes the dumbest decision ever and winds up losing so badly he injured himself. You know what you call someone who blows it that hard? A choke artist. A fool. A LOSER. I'd boo him too. But it's wrestling, so instead I'm excited to see where they go with Johnny. Maybe a heel turn would do him some good?

Nobody cares about Bray Wyatt anymore but it’s still lame he ate the pin when his partner seems on the way out because he has all the flexibility of a Battle Beast.

Another great heel performance for Tessa. There's not a lot of wrestlers who can press slam their opponent but also believably beg off like a Flair as well. Good stuff. Not sure about Kross teaming with Aries either. He seemed like he was coming in as a single and Aries was holding it down on his own. It would be a bummer if they did a Shawn/Diesel thing with them since Drew and Dolph are doing the same thing on Raw but it's too early to judge.

Either way, we deserve to see a picture of this.

I was 6 when I saw the first Mr Perfect vignettes and I was instantly a fan. Dude was perfect at ever sport! Why watch the Blue Jays when you could watch a guy so good at baseball he’s a wrestler? That was my kid logic anyway.

I love that even in 2018 I'm still seeing awesome Vader spots for the first time.
