Kyle Williams will be retiring at the end of the season, having spent his entire NFL career in Buffalo. An interesting tidbit:

I'd mock the Raiders for this signing, but as a Bills fan, it just feels like the guy who dropped out in Grade 10 mocking a guy who got expelled in Grade 9.

I treated myself to a Black Friday box of 2017 Leaf Originals. This is quite the interesting grouping, as Kevin Sullivan and Christy Hemme in the same box of cards just seems strange. I seriously never would have thought that among this grouping, that Butch Reed would have the nicest looking autograph of the bunch. I know that Chyna auto could cover the cost of the box, but it always seems depressing to sell an on-card autograph of someone who has passed away.

The stadium seemed to be an even split in my area, with the mix of Stamps fans and ABC (anybody but Calgary) types cheering for Ottawa. I was on the Ottawa sideline side, and there really looked to be a lot of empty seats on the other side as they approached the end zone. Bright yellow seats are not a good thing on days like that. I sorta lucked out at picking a hotel that was directly across from one of Edmonton Transit's Park + Ride lots, and having a gate right across from the Transit lot to make getting to the game easy. The weather was far incredible for what I imagined late-Edmonton November to be like, and I certainly over-packed for that despite the forecast looking promising. You know you're getting old when you dislike country music, but still prefer the country opening act to the pop halftime act.

That was Muscle Mayhem, with Nuteboy as the meathead, and Paul Lazenby as the instigator of the whole situation I have no idea how and why that little factoid has stayed with me for so long.

So...road trip?
