  1. God bless Power Girl and Amanda Conner! James
  2. Your best bets are Kamen Riders KUUGA, AGITO, FAIZ, OOO and the surprisingly dark GAIM. For Super Sentai: Samurai Sentai Shinkenger is amazingly dark and complex for a childrens toy commercial and Bouklenger is just plain fun. I liked Kyoryuger a lot but I seem to be in the minority. I cannot recommend the GARO series enough anbd ditto for Sh15ya If you want to start off with just one though... I'd say AGITO for Kamen Rider and Shinkenger for Super Sentai (finding a really good sub of Dairanger is nigh impossible or else I'd recommend that). If you want darkness in tone and a bit adult themed then just sit down and watch GARO... all of it! James
  3. Saint Seiya is pretty much the prototype for every Shonen Jump manga/anime. Start with the Galaxian Wars Arc followed by the Sanctuary Arc. Then watch movies 1&2. Then watch Asgard and Poseidon. Then watch Movies 3&4. Then watch all 3 Hades OVA series Take into account, you're watching some very old animation here, but the story good and has some great characters James
  4. The Toshie/Ran Yuyu pairing was solid gold i=with me every time! Sometime after Ran got tired of wrestling Azumi Hyuga 150 times a year, she left JWP and became a regular with GAEA where she and Toshie won the tag belts and kept retaining them via countout. Then she and Toshie ended up as the freelancers that worked everywhere... Anyway, Here's UematsuRan! James
  5. So Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock? I'm... I'm just not sure about that.... James
  6. A Wendell Cooley sighting! My week is now made perfect! James
  7. It is a shame HUSTKE died just as we were going to get the insanity of Riki Takeuchi as he lead heel James
  8. You can't judge The Wire by just one episode. It needs to be viewed in at least 2 episodes at a time in order to absorb where htings are going. The first season is like a fine meal with the first 2 episodes as an amuse bouche. James
  9. I think the only thing I'm remotely interested in this Spring is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders The sad thing is I have the original OVA series still, so I'm pretty much rewatching that in one long TV series, possibly with better animation. James
  10. Wow, I never knew Richard Nixon wrestled Liam Neeson. Steve Austin thinks someone needs to snug that hold up. Leave it to Nixon to work loose. Eisenhower, however, always worked 3/4 legit! James
  11. Brian Hildebrand, Tommy Young, Tiger Hattori and Kyohei Wada are my Referees of Rushmore. James
  12. Cosmos was so good. I loved the original and didn't think anyone could be as engaging as Carl Sagan but Neil Degrasse Tyson proved me wrong. Who says TV can't be educational and entertaining atthe same time? James
  13. Shit Brian I love The Beatles but that movie just... it makes me want to take a nap just thinking about it James
  14. Wasn't Rock also close with Bret Hart as well? I vaguely recall something along those lines James
  15. The fact no one has mentioned Northern State makes me sad almost... James
  16. J.H.

    Justified

Amy Smart is situationally attractive. Kind of like that one girl on Seinfeld that was good looking depending on her lighting James
  17. That Adam Rose entrance on RAW or, at hopefully, Wrestlemania will be goddam epic! James
  18. When I think of Lassard's nephew I keep flashing back to the one episode of Star Trek: TNG Matt McCoy did did where he was putting the blast on Deanna Troi. I also remember his bit part in LA Confidential James
  19. Ennis mentioned it once and that was the end of it. Did we weven get an explanation as to why or how Frank became... y'know... Frank again? James
  20. There has been talk of a new Police Academy movie for at least a decade. In that time David Graff and Bubba Smith have passed so no Hightower or Tackleberry (though you can easily use Tack's kids since he did reproduce in the movies). Lat I heard Guttenberg was trying to get someone interested to finance the damn thing. James
  21. How much should I throw at you mugs to convince you to do a new 500? (I mean almost 20 years of being dedicated to this MB, I oughta give something back) James
  22. When I purchased The Seven Samurai I was asked which movies I'd like to see be added to The Criterion Collection. My answer: he Stret Fighter Because we all need a little Sonny Chiba in The Collection James
  23. What's the word on Becky Lynch/Rebecca Knox? Has she debuted yet? James
  24. So Mr. T or Lawrence Taylor are basically the top 2 piks unless you count Alex Karras I guess James
  25. When I turn guys onto old school wrestlers the one they all seem to gravitate toward is Bockwinkel. He just has this aura that is very Bond Villain if a Bond Villain ever came out of the Midwest. He has a plan, he's cocky but he always backs his cockiness by being the best. Hell if Bond ever took on Bock I'm positive MI-6 would be calling in another agent after Bock beats Bond and then has Mr. Saito gnaw on his exposed skull! I love Nick Bockwinkel! James
