  1. You have Khali on your list. I assume you mean the Hindu Deity and not Great Khali James
  2. Hokuto was diagnosed with cancer lat I read and has been going through radiation therapy. I swear I read that in The Observer. James
  3. Kong miscarried and she has been very frank about how it impacted her mental state. The door was open to her by all accounts but she wasn't ready to commit to that kind of schedule so soon after dealing with her recovery. To my recollection the parting was amicable. She wasn't a "Bust" per se. She was willing to work when she came in, just timing for everything derailed her push. She might be the best "What could have been" example of a star for the women's division before the current crop of NXT girls came along James
  4. There are 2 GREAT beatdowns in Miller's Crossing (sadly I can't find clips). First after Tommy gets taken by Caspar's goons and Caspar and the Dane leave him alone in the room with Frankie to get roughed up. Tommy tells him to wait and the decks him with the chair. Frankie looks genuinely upset tha Tommy did that so he go gets Tic-Tac and Tic-Tac proceeds to savagely beat the crap out of him. Second after Tommy confesses to Leo about his sneaking around with Verna behind Leo's back. Tommy leaves the room and is on his way out of the club when Leo comes out of hi office and beats Tommy's down the stairs all the way to the dining room. Jesus Gabriel Byrne got his ass kicked a lot in Miller's crossing James
  5. ah well, I can skip Saedlining and not worry about it. James
  6. So after expressing my apprehension about Yoshiko and how Seadlining using her could lead me to not support the promotion to Hudson Envy, the response I got was "Well that's you're opinion and you're entitled to it". Not sure how to tak that response but I still respect Hudson and like her work. James
  7. Well, unless you're into that sort of thing Not that I am but lord knows... I know people and we'll leave it at that James
  8. Holy... A "Fear of A Black Hat" reference! 20 years later I still love the randomness of this place! James
  9. Ugh don't remind me. I'm still hot A. Brown is on that Daniel Bryan tip this week. I didn't know Alton Brown was a wrestling fan James
  10. I think thee was a right's issue with Demolition, didn't Eadie try to claim IC property on the gimmick leading to some kind of lawsuit with Titan? James
  11. Also for... a tad more comedic but still! James
  12. Gentlemen, submitted for your approval... James
  13. Finally took The Wife to see it a second time. Now that my fanboy euphoria has been washed away a lot of things come across clearer. The Wife felt Kylo Ren was conflicted about killing his father but on second viewing it becomes more apparent to me that it was a trap from the outset so he could totally, there was no conflict. They are making Kylo the exact opposite of Luke, in that Luke was absolutely against killing his father, while Ben was 100% ready to do it without remorse. Him killing Han wasn't a change of heart thing, it was him luring Han in to a false sense of security so he could do the deed. James
  14. Ouch, that's cold. I've never been a big Nanae fan. I mean she basically became the last Zenjo disciple because there was really no one else to wave the flag and she has been milking it ever since the Matsunagas closed shop. Momoe was really the more talented of the 2 of them and she had to retire young because of injuries. I mean look at the post AJW history Nanae has. SUN collapsed (and wasn't very good), Triple Tails flopped because of personality conflicts with Kana and she was basically forced out of Stardom (with the Yoshiko incident being the excuse needed to oust her). She kept herself as the focus of these promotions even when she wasn't champion. Her cup of coffee with JWP was even one of those "Oh look she won he JWP Openweight and left real quick". I think her dropping that belt to Yoneyama felt like punishment for being hard to work with. To me she has always just come off an egotist, at least as far as how she has herself booked. James
  15. J.H.

    RIP David Bowie

Far and away my favorite Bowie Duet James
  16. I mean honestly, hasn't every fed/booking office Nanae started been there simply to have her (and her crew) stroke her own ego more or less? Her whole "Last Successor of Zenjo-ism routine is old. She's getting as bad as Kyoko Inoue or Yumiko Hotta James
  17. Get rid of that risk and Bret probably retains via Double DQ in order to set-up Bret/Austin for the title at Mania that year I'd bet James
  18. J.H.

    RIP David Bowie

This was really the worst news to wake up to at 3:$5 AM to. I even like his work with Tin Machine, that's how much I love Bowie! James
  19. Yeah her tagline of being a "Takahashi Girl" and all of her "Seadlining" signs were apparently more than just a hint. Surprised to hear there is bad blood between her and Io. Figured with her placement in Odeo Tai, Hudson was going to be pushed even harder this coming year. James
  20. I hope not. Envy was tweeting a lot about SEAdLINNNG even when she was still in Stardom last summer, I think she is just friends with and/or really likes Takahashi so was being nice. Since they had her in the finals of the GP, I hope once she heals from her injuries that they have her back. Amazing how hinting to her on FB today that I look forward to seeing more of her in Stardom and her one word reply of "SEADLINING!" confirms my suspicions on that situation. James
  21. Dammit I'm to late on the "Let's get the lyrics wrong to Ironic" part of the discussion! James
  22. INakamura entering The Rumble as The Authority's hired gun just makes so much sense. H looks so unassuming from a physical looking standpoint so no one will expect him to dominate Reigns. Playing him as a mercenary that wins the Rumble and then plays tweener champ by ignoring the Authority title would be amazing ... and thus will never happen James
  23. I've never heard anyone call You're The Worst light hearted before. It is a very piece of cynicla comedy about toxic people trying to form an actual connection. The serious issue you refer to one of the characters having is one of those things that can make or break a relationship in its early stages. Stick through it to he end of the season and it pays off. Also, Kether Donohoe is brilliant and beautiful! James
  24. No no no, I would never bash TNR. Like I said Bullet Club is a weak sister TNR. Honestly the best version of the NWO that was actually way better than the NWO was probably SSU James
  25. Part of the booking of Bullet Club initially was that Devitt was Junior trying to challengefor the Heavyweight belt so it was booked that he wasn't going to beat Tanahashi without loads of interference (in theory). Of coursethat went overboard as BC basically became the weak sister Team No Respect without the awesome dance James
