  1. Going back to Masters of the Universe, for some reason the idea of Skeletor and his goons becoming the nWo popped into my head and I pictured it like this: Skeletor: Hogan (obviously) Panthor: Bischoff (always at Skeletor's/Hogan's side) Evil-Lyn: Nash (2nd in command, always kinda seems like she wants to take over) Tri-Klops: Hall (always around but never the center of attention) Two Bad: Syxx (always talking shit) Trap Jaw: Savage (should have a more prominent role but just kinda hangs around) Gygor: Norton (the "heavy" of the group) Clawful: The Giant (physically imposing but naive and makes a lot of mistakes) Blast-Attack: Stevie Ray (because he blows up after a short time lol) Scare Glow: Scott Steiner (because he's so full of god knows what that his piss glows) Spikor: Wallstreet (because nobody knows why the fuck he's even there) Stinkor: Horace (do I really need to explain?) Faker: Buff (because of the orange body) Beast Man: Vincent (because he's the dumbest, easiest one to beat)
  2. Oh how I would have loved to see Abdullah the Butcher carve up Orko with a fork or Stan Hansen blast Beast-Man with a lariat.
  3. Guess maybe I better look at Yakima instead then... I KID TABE, I KID!!
  4. Apparently there's a fan idea floating around for Marvel to cast Chukwudi Iwuji as Kang to replace Jonathan Majors with the idea that the High Evolutionary in GOTG 3 was a Kang variant (since the Loki show and Spiderman: No Way Home have both already shown variants of the same person don't necessarily look the same). I like this idea a lot. Speaking of variants, I want Marvel to use the multi-verse as an excuse to make a movie where the Hemsworth brothers fight the Skarsgard brothers
  5. Wow Shida's english has gotten very good.
  6. Yeah as soon as I got home I made sure to tell my dog what a good girl she is.
  7. WAY too much like Jim & Pam. As for the characters (turns out I watched 4 seasons, not 3): Jonah talks down to everyone routinely despite the fact that he works a minimum wage job. He also treated Kelly (who came across as a decent, if awkward, person) terribly at the end of their relationship falsely building up her hopes. Amy I guess I didn't mind as they threw a LOT at her (going back to school, marriage falling apart, dating again when newly single, getting pregnant) and she never got on my nervesbut neither did she really do anything to win me over either. Glenn was a shit manager who never wanted anyone to leave and do better for themselves not to mention constantly letting his religious views get in the way of his job. Dina was constantly disrespectful to her direct supervisor and to everybody who worked underneath her. Mateo was the epitome of the "tattle-tale" type of coworker that everybody hates. He's the guy would intentionally sabotage something you were doing so he would look better. I honestly kept hoping he would get deported. Garrett.... ok I actually liked Garrett. I didn't care too much for the story arc of him and Dina hooking up but his character never bothered me. Cheyenne was not too bad I guess, but I just can't stand the type of characters that are so stupid it's a miracle they can function in day to day life. Sandra was a doormat and a liar, Justine was obnoxious, Carol was just a vile human being and Marcus was misogynistic (in addition to being another "so stupid they shouldn't be able to function" type). So I guess I shouldn't say no likeable characters since Garrett is pretty decent and Amy & Cheyenne are ok too.
  8. Serpentico's only purpose is to be Nyla Rose's whipping boy on Twitter. Now Ben Dejo on the other hand, that's somebody to keep an eye on!* *yeah I know it's the same guy
  9. Sorry for the double post, Young has only appeared for AEW when they've been in the Milwaukee area. He had a competitive match with Hangman, appeared in a 6 man where all he did was stand on the apron and was squashed by Powerhouse Hobbs. I think that's the extent of his AEW work.
  10. Comoroto has come a long way. Someone mentioned a while back wanting to see him and Tony Nese do a modern day version of Power & Glory and I would be 100% in favor of that. As for other guys without angles to keep an eye on Blake Christian has been impressed the hell out of me every time I've seen him. I think he's been busy on ROH but I don't have an honor club membership at the moment (stupid being an adult and having to budget). AR Fox has been nothing but good since he came to AEW. It's a shame Dark and Elevation are gone because it's gonna be harder to see these kind of guys now.
  11. I decided to binge Superstore since I had never seen it, and while it was ok for the first couple of seasons I tapped out after the 3rd. Too many unlikable characters.
  12. Well for some reason it won't let me post in there. Oh well. Nice to see others showing the big guy some love over there.
  13. Renfield was... decent. I guess? I mean, it was a good enough flick but without going into spoilers I feel like they kinda wasted Nic Cage as Dracula.
  14. I'm gonna be moving to Spokane (eastern side of Washington, where it DOESN'T rain 300 days a year) in the next few months. Been kinda feeling like there wasn't anything left for me around here anyway ever since breaking up with my girlfriend a year and a half ago and out of the blue my sister tells me they (her, husband and at least 2 of their 4 kids) are gonna sell their place and move to Spokane. She starts telling me about it, showing me pics, and it actually looks like a decent place (plus housing in Western Washington is outrageously expensive) so I decided, fuck it, I can take my last few classes online and when I'm ready to get to work, just find something over there. Most excited I've felt in a while. Can't wait to get the hell out of here. Western Washington has gone to shit. And at least I'll have family over there with me.
  15. I don't think an apology is necessary dude. Pretty sure DEAN would have wished you well had he seen your post. Hope you're doing better.
  16. Nah it's because the Kraken are in it SEE?!?!
  17. Do you have a link? I didn't see anything in the reddit thread linked a couple of pages back
  18. I'll agree with this as well. It always gave me a little joy whenever the big man would like one of my posts.
  19. Scored VIP tickets for DEFY's June 3rd show that will have KENTA on it. Can't wait!
  20. God damn I was really hoping the big guy would make a comeback. I didn't have as much direct interaction with him as a lot of you did, but DEAN seemed like a genuinely good dude. He could take a joke, he knew when to be serious, he knew when to show compassion. Life isn't fair sometimes, people get taken from us way earlier than we would have liked them to be. But it could always be worse. We could never have had them at all. RIP you crazy, rambling bastard.
  21. People around here are going nuts for the Kraken (I still say they should refer to their fans as "Krakheads" but I digress). I'm sure they're long shots at winning the cup but it was still nice to see the city of Seattle continue to punish the city of Denver for the sins of Dikembe Mutumbo (gold star to whoever gets what I'm talking about there). It's a weird time to be a sports fan around here. All our teams are good. Seahawks are in the playoffs pretty much every year. Mariners finally made the playoffs and have won 90 games 2 years in a row. Kraken make the playoffs in just their second season. Hell, even out XFL team is good. Seattle isn't used to all this pro sports success.
  22. As do I. I still argue with my friends that Snakes On A Plane is one of the finest cinematic achievements in history.
  23. Adam Driver is apparently gonna be offered the role of Reed Richards. Would have preferred him to be Dr. Doom personally
  24. Plus Samuel L. Jackson just makes everything better.
