  1. I love that it was Kreayshawn, of all people, that proved that James Harden does in fact know who Lil B is.
  2. That's super disappointing, but not terribly surprising since the last one was a bit underwhelming box-office wise. Hopefully they don't completely abandon the franchise and maybe do some more animated stuff in the future.
  3. They're already halfway through aren't they? Don't divisions play each other 18 times? Hope they keep it up, really digging the AL Central this year.
  4. The man can turn a phrase, but I guarantee he used way less cocksuckers in John from Cincinnati.
  5. I will forever hate that show, because its existence hastened the demise of Deadwood.
  6. and he'll bat .180 in his first month back while Rangers fans scream for Delino Deshields Jr to get more playing time. I don't think I've ever felt so old.
  7. It was totally planned, it became the basis for the rematch on Main Event that ended in the upheld title.
  8. Ted Nolan is going to get an awkward phone call from Buffalo today.
  9. I liked it because it didn't have a total sense of finality for anyone. Their lives are still going on, this is just the point that we stop viewing them. More than anything, the series was about the Sterling Cooper agency and that finally died this year. Do you really think Pete isn't going to somehow sabotage his own happiness in Wichita?
  10. Don totally wrote it, even Jon Hamm thinks so. He figures the last scene was Don coming to grips with who he is and that is an ad man. This whole season has been about him accepting his past and I think the last episode was about him accepting his place in the world and taking the advice that he gave Ted Chaough, to forget everything else about the politics of the job and just enjoy the work.
  11. I think my favourite might be "AFTER HITTING BUILDING, FLAT BILL OF CAP MIGHT ACTUALLY BEND". http://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/15/silicon-valley-read-let-blaine-die-swot-board
  12. Cartoon Snarf was bad enough, I don't need a gritty, cg version.
  13. I'm glad Meredith went out chipper to the very end.
  14. If you're gonna suffer from job dissatisfaction, it may as well be in Miami, where you can fill that hole with drugs and women.
  15. Marcel Dionne spent his first few years with the Dead Things era Detroit, spent the bulk of his career with a Kings team that, while maybe not incompetent, were usually one and done in the playoffs and then finished his career with a Rangers team that missed the playoffs once and lost in the first round the other two times. When he retired, he was second all time in NHL career points. The bulk of his career was spent during the 16/21 days of the NHL, so your team had to be monumentally bad to miss playoffs. The 3 playoff rounds his team won in his career came in two best of 3's and one best of 5.
  16. They all still do it, but the kid get the "Et tu, Brute?" spot.
  17. It was definitely not as heartwarming, what with being "I was going to murder you, lol", rather than "everyone wanted me to abandon you." I didn't mean it was supposed to be exactly the same. But Roose and Stannis are very similar men in disposition and beliefs, their stories just served to show how they differ and why Stannis is likely fit to rule and Roose likely isn't.
  18. Funny, Ramsay is by far my least favourite character in the books, just repulsive and evil to an unholy degree (and I usually love the villains. Poor one out for Tywin, y'all), but damned if he isn't kind of loveable on the show. The actor playing him has crazy eyes down pat, though. Really liked all the Bolton stuff this episode, actually. Usually when they appear, it's just in one scene, so they don't have much time to make them anything more than menacing. Poor Mrs. Bolton, just wants to have a nice meal with her family. Also, neat little scene between Ramsay and Roose, makes a nice bookend to the Stannis/Shireen scene last week. Took place in the war room as well, but Ramsay at least restrained himself from moving his dad's war figurines.

Honestly, you could end up listing off every supporting character. Kent's been great this year. Every character is so damn horrible and cut throat that it makes me think of the characters of It's Always Sunny, but if they focused all their energies on career advancement, rather than just general mayhem.
  20. Well, that's fine, but I doubt she can pull off a power suit.

    CFL OFFSEASON

Nic Demski was picked! yay, great for him, he dominated for the Bisons. Hope he does.....oh, he got picked by the Riders. Well, he can go die in a fire, I guess.
  22. What in the flying fuck was that? Where the fuck are the Misfits? Where the fuck is Eric Raymond? Where the fuck is Crispin Glover fulfilling his ultimate destiny and playing Techrat? I get how you can fuck up Transformers and GI Joe, they've been around forever and have had several different iterations, but how do you fuck up Jem? Why am I so angry about this?
