  1. You could have saved it by saying Hobbs didn't bother showing up to work, or Callis made sure Hobbs wouldn't be here knowing what would happen to his meal ticket.
  2. I think if Jay hadn't been such a weak shitheel vs Billy, there was a real shot of the fans turning on the acclaimed and making the Bang Bang Gang the faces. That might still happen. The Bang Bang Gang has some real Worldwide Underground energy to them, they just need Juice back, and I think I'd like to see a woman in the group. Nyla would be perfect.
  3. If this happens, that might be a way for TK to get back, and having Nyla main event on that show would be a double win. Just host it outdoors on a reservation. Make it a special episode of Collision.
  4. This would hurt AEW as much as that Punk segment. Part of AEW's appeal is that they're not the promotion of Vince McMahon, Saudi Arabia, and Republicans. FTR might also have issues doing it, as they are also pretty socially progressive. I'm wondering how Jack's alliance with the Bucks is going to do. I mean, it's definitely interesting for now, but Jack is most likely coming back to eat pins unless they bring someone else into the act to eat pins, and that's not going to be good for him as he needs credibility. Can we bring Yujiro or Dick Togo in along with Jack to take some pins?
  5. I really should change that to uppercut them in the balls list in honor of Jay's ballshot method of choice... That said, Given how Jay's been treated in AEW, it's hard to see him at that level right now. BCG is booked in AEW like how WWE would have booked LU's Worldwide Undergound if they had gotten them in 2019.
  6. The only thing that came out was a he wasn't happy about the match. Given all the fires he put out for AEW, he deserves a bit of drama of his own as a treat. I don't think anyone really blamed him too much for that- he was booked like a chump.
  7. I think that's the plan, with BCG going over. Especially if Max is in the doghouse again. BCG needs to move on to bigger things, and Jay needs singles gold somehow soon. Something overlooked is how good Willow looked last night. That promo was one of the best babyface promos done in AEW by anyone, it was Eddie-level. She looks like she belonged with Mone, and even outshined her a bit. Willow looked like a megastar. My fiancee also mentioned that she thought Stat looked like Abigail Thorn last night (and she loved both Willow and Stat!)
  8. Given I was off today, my fiancee had a chance to watch Dynamite with me. She's a huge warhammer fan, and she definitely had some observations. Her favorite was Thunder Rosa. She liked Willow and Stat a lot too. Sje was really impressed by Hobbs the first two minutes she saw her. She called Jay White the Konrad Curze of wrestling, which actually really works. She compared Joe to Sanguinius, which surprised me a bit. She thought Jericho was shit, so her eye is pretty good.
  9. The Bucks did a match with no superkicks, I really noticed that! Shibata/Ospreay felt a bit like Shibata was cosplaying Minoru Suzuki, but with more athleticism and grappling skill. Not a horrible thing, but not what I'd want out of Shibata, though I got a bit of what I wanted out of Shibata to start. I enjoyed Pure Rules ROH Shibata more. Swerve/Soup was awesome! Liked the women's 4-way, and glad Willow won.
  10. Bowens is fine. Caster's the one that belongs on low-end indies.
  11. I hope Airica gets a chance to do some more matches in ROH. She showed some good fire and some fun reactions, and takes a beating well. Still heavily a work in progress, but someone who has improved a lot in the past few months, and the strikes look better than many in AEW already.
  12. They might Llave it out. I think Titan's matwork is pretty good, and would keep Jericho from blowing up.
  13. They need to do a loser leaves AEW for X days to cool off Hangman/Swerve feud, just have Swerve say "one of us has to go so the other can be champ". They're kinda speedrunning a great program dry- it's too much of a great thing too quickly, and Swerve needs the belt this year. I'd have Hangman lose by his own stupidity, leave, do the G1 (NJPW would love Hangman in the G1, especially if you let him do a program with Naito where Hangman learns to be tranquilo)- then come back as part of LFI (perhaps with another new member or two) Hangman gets to come back at Forbidden Door because it's a NJPW/AEW joint event as a technicality, so he could pull something there.
  14. Comedy is just as important as Tekkers for any technical wrestler. There's a reason I'd rather watch Catweazle than Roderick Strong.
  15. I saw it as Hangman thinking a draw meant neither of them got the shot, and Hangman's stated goal is to make sure Swerve never becomes champ, because that's how he hurts him the most. Hangman's bitterness towards Swerve and the fans is what is fueling his justified heel turn.
