I was sort of hoping that would tell the story about spitting burning 151 rum at Sgt. Slaughter as a preemptive strike in a bar fight since Sarge was in the audience. Some hilarity may have ensued.

The Terry Gordy story was hilarious and terrifying at the same time. Terry Gordy was one scary dude, you always had the feeling that he was one shot of JD away from pulling someone's arms and legs off if they irritated him.

More terrifying tag team Hansen/Brody or Williams/Gordy? Also did they ever have a match, a quick Google search did not come up with one (although it did come up with a Hansen/Gordy vs. Brody/Snuka tag match I have to see)

An animated web-series based on Freebird (shit, ANY territory//NWA/WWF) stories would be awesome. There's talented enough folks out there to pull it off. Just as long as we don't get any Jimmy Valiant/glass coffee table shorties. That one MS Paint photoshop that floated around the board a while back was enough.

Nope - Brody died in 88 and MVC wasn't formed till 90

I'm going to miss Barrett,  Wish he could have stayed healthy.  And that WWE hadn't cut his knees out from under him during the Nexus angle.  Giving him a run as champion seemed the logical next step.

He was so obviously in over his head that it would have been a disaster of Swaggian proportions to give him the strap.  Also he got injured reading this post.

Barrett was everything they could ever want. Big, good-looking dude. Great talker. They clearly wanted to give him more so many times. Shame about the injuries.

Still, for a lot of guys he was a great OPPONENT.
