  1. Definitely got kind of a Shawn/Sid vibe from Aries/Kross at the end there. I love tying into last week where Aries had his issue with Carelli then at the end of the night Carelli had been taken out by Kross. I'm all for more Sydal, and more Alisha too.. she's a solid babyface but I kinda wanna see the old WSU super heel Lexxus side of her at some point too as she was so good at it.
  2. Shocking but awesome to see Kaitlin get her first win in like 6 years, especially considering she hadn't fought in 4 years. Always liked her despite losing all her Invicta fights.
  3. Another solid night of Impact. Opening tag was a fun quick match. Loved seeing Alisha back in the ring again finally, been hoping she'd get used more for years now. Was a huge fan of her WSU work back in 2010-11. Thought this was a very solid showing for both. Pentagon/Sydal and Aries/Edwards were both awesome and different from each other with the main event being full of chaos. Thought Aries and Edwards worked great together as opponents with great character work. LAX/OGz feud continues to kill it. Dug the closing shot of Aries and Kross standing tall. Good promos in between throughout the whole show with Aries, Sydal, Allie, Jacobs, etc.
  4. Wired in my DNA as well, had two older brothers who were both into it so I was born into it starting around age 3 or so growing up on figures and VHS tapes that we had.
  5. Amusing that hair color came up on Table for 3 just now with Beth/Natalya/Nia. Natalya talked about having to dye her hair when she debuted because Vince thought she and Beth looked like twins then Beth said hair color doesn't define you in the women's revolution.
  6. That was a fun time/era for NWA Southwest
  7. 21 years since that epic pop when Lex shocked the world!
  8. That's what I wanna see as well. None of this 'best bantamweight of all time' shit when he didn't beat Cruz. Garbrandt got his immediate rematch, Cruz never did. Would love to see Cruz comeback for this and it to go like it did when he came back against Mizugaki. For all the talk there had been of DJ/TJ superfight, it came off like they'd set that up if DJ won, but since Cejudo won he was just inserted into that slot instead.
  9. Sienna was a highlight of Impact in the first half of 2017, in-ring and character wise. Glad to see her get a shot and glad she's back from her last injury.
  10. While close, have to nitpick that just a little bit.. since Oct 2014 AJ Lee/Paige Nov 2014 Survivor Series: Nikki Bella/AJ Lee Dec 2014 TLC: Nikki Bella/AJ Lee Feb 2015 FastLane: Nikki Bella/Paige Apr 2015 Extreme Rules: Nikki Bella/Naomi May 2015 Elimination Chamber: Nikki Bella/Paige/Tamina Jun 2015 MITB: Nikki Bella/Paige THEN Charlotte debuted, so there's been a blonde in title matches ever since between her, Alexa, Carmella, and Natalya.
  11. The return of SLOW CHEMICAL~!
  12. Solid tag wrestling, great main event, and awesome angles continuing on this episode. Womens' tag was a fun and exciting opener. OGz squash was fittingly brutal and the post-match brawl after brought the chaos. Loved the whole Aries/Carelli angle and weaving that into Eddie attacking before his title shot, plus a super cool unexpected closing shot for the show with Kross, that was badass. the Eli Drake match was amusing throughout. Laughed out loud when Josh said "man JB sure has aged terribly" in reference to Bob Kapoor. As always the backstage bits in between while small add a ton to the show, really digging Sydal's promo work as of late. Definitely an air of excitement throughout the show. Excellent main event as is the norm for those guys, oVe and the Lucha Bros work very well together.
  13. I think Charlotte definitely turns if either one does. They can have Charlotte pin Carmella to win the title and steal what was supposed to be Becky's moment then they can gradually have Charlotte turn by ducking Becky, playing off Becky making her tap clean in their last match 2 months ago, then seal it when Charlotte cheats to beat Becky when they do face off. Also as mentioned leads into an easy set up for the eventual Charlotte/Ronda match they'll want as I can't imagine any reason they would turn Ronda at this point. Regardless I think Charlotte/Becky will be SDL's title match at Evolution either way even if it was face vs face.
  14. Now I wish Liger had a match last month just to keep that going.
  15. Lady! Destroy! Love that Hiroyo made it in. I think Madison's best run was her heel run on top at Impact in 2010/2011. Kind of reminds me a bit of Alexa in that run, had some solid matches, her best mic work in the feud with Mickie, and I loved her briefly using the loaded glove gimmick.
  16. I still love that one, total fun, and also Batista's "House of the Rising Sun" film.
  17. Totally down with that. then Charlotte/Becky could happen separate. Seems quite a few people disappear on SDL like that, wish they did more with Sonya Deville while the IIconics have been mostly jobbers after a strong debut.
  18. Really dug Carmella/Charlotte. Stood out on a show with not a whole lot on it. At this point with Carmella beating Charlotte twice, Asuka twice, while Becky beat everyone else, I kinda wanted Carmella to retain and go into Evolution as champ but I don't know who would beat her at that point. Now I figure Charlotte's gonna win the title to steal Becky's moment and Charlotte/Becky will be the SDL title match for Evolution. Thought Bryan and Miz both had very strong mic work in their seg, plus a highly entertaining episode of Miz & Mrs. to follow.
  19. Probably because this was their reign: 1/29: Win the titles from Cesaro/Sheamus on the Royal Rumble preshow 1/30: Cesaro/Sheamus/Bayley def. Anderson/Gallows/Charlotte 2/6: Defeat Cesaro & Sheamus via DQ. 2/13: Loss to Roman Reigns via DQ 2/20: Defeat Roman Reigns via DQ. 2/27: Big Cass def. Luke Gallows (2:45) 3/5: Defeat Enzo & Cass to retain. 3/6: Defeat Enzo & Cass via DQ. 3/20: Sheamus/Cesaro def. Enzo/Cass/Anderson/Gallows in 35 seconds. 4/3: Loss to the Hardyz at WM.
  20. No doubt they've been irrelevant for the majority of their run. Even if they at least got a couple non title wins against New Day. This was not just losing, it was being squashed in 5 minute nothing matches and then off TV for over a month.
  21. Priscilla Kelly is awesome, looking forward to her being in this. Cool for Madison Rayne, working Impact/ROH/WWE in less than 1 month.
