  1. Grateful Dead "Aiko Aiko" : Live at Philly 1989. I was there and they tore this up as we blistered in the heat Grateful Dead "Not Fade Away" Live at Buffalo 1989. I was there and this melted the mind Grateful Dead "Visions Of Johanna". Jerry at the end of his life mournful and beautiful.
  2. "I got ups! WAKKA WAKKA WAKKA"I like that he's doing the old Steve Martin arrow through the head bit.
  3. My shows have been not shitty but amazingly mediocre with bursts of hilarity, sir. And you know what I mean. You have to kinda turn off your brain to escape into the awesomeness that is pro wrestling. It's not a bad thing, it's a wonderful thing.
  4. Senior year of High School and freshman year of college I went to Rocky Horror almost every other weekend. I never dressed up, but was one of those crowd guys with the jokes. It was always so much fun. It's funny, just the other day I was talking about it with a young friend who was going on about how it was a shitty movie but the songs were good. Of course she was someone who had only watched it at home on DVD, which does suck. She had no idea about the live experience. I remember it being one of those movies we clamored for to finally be available and once they did and you got it home you realized, "Why the fuck am I watching this by myself?" But at the theatres, it remains one of my favorite memories.
  5. That's kinda how wrestling is intended to be watched.
  6. I made 200 bucks for 10 hours work hosting kareoke at a bar this past Friday and Saturday nights. I was filling in for a friend, but now I want to start my own side gig. That's some scratch for some pretty easy work.
  7. Back to the original question, If you watched Smackdown this past week and didn't totally dig it....you may just not like wrestling anymore. I can't imagine what could bring a fan back if he or she watched that show and didn't dig it.
  8. You're nuts. And I mean that in a nice way, pal. But you're nuts.
  9. I fucking LOVED Orton/ RVD. RVD has looked so great since he came back, especially against Orton. And Orton turns it up a level with RVD.
  10. I just read someone calling Bossman "awkward". Oy vey. Hev was awkward as Big Bubba in Crockett, sure. But in WWF? He wasn't awkward he was awesome. Those "awkward" bumps were intentional.
  11. Yeah, I'm a fan. He has a schtick, it works, he's fucking funny, and I always like the comics who go out and do the jokes that they say in private.
  12. Colbert totally goofed on Pitchfork's conspiracy theories, actually.
  13. That was the funniest "Fuck you" I've ever seen.
  14. Thanks to all of you who have gone on about Talkin Toons. I finally started listening and now I'm hooked. I've been on listening binge. Edit: Shit, the June Foray one choked me up and the DiMaggio one had me laughing my ass off .
  15. Y'know, just because the Ramones played catchy songs doesn't make them not Punk Rock. I was pushed against the front of the stage at a Ramones show at the "legendary" City Gardens in Trenton NJ in 88 and that was no fucking pop concert.
  16. Well I know what I need to track down, holy shit. I don't know if it's ever been around in full, but the show was definitely taped for TV, as Polynesian Pro Wrestling TV reran that Flair/ Afi main event constantly.
  17. Hell, Ed Leslie probably did too. JBL actually did mention Brutus.
  18. So, what finally sends AJ completely to the nut ward is gonna be Big E saying, "I love you, AJ. As a friend......I'm gay.", right?
  19. The fact that Nash eats three breakfasts when most men eat only one is fantastic.
  20. Sure you've always said that. Well I've always said it since I heard someone else say it. Lol
  21. This is the least Kung Fu thing ever written on this board. I can't reconcile those two posts one after another. I can only deal with them as a conversation between two different crazy old men. I am a Gemini.
