  1. Shit, that's not a baseball slide, that's a frickin' missile dropkick
  2. Dammit you beat me to it. Barbie Blank is like Richard Blood on the "actual name perfect for wrestling" scale. I guess they thought it just wasn't even dumb ENOUGH for her character, so they just gave her two first names Also, it's too bad Eva Marie is suspended because her vs. Kelly Kelly might be the best trainwreck match imaginable.
  3. One wonders what would have happened had he testified. The sentence Avon might've received if he was forced to detail for a jury what Brandon's dead body looked like might've been enormous.
  4. Usos sounded great, but I also feel like they should have decided to MAN UP (heh) and had a brawl. But then Burgundy and Gregg have some good points that nullify the need for an immediate explosion. Still some good work.
  5. Marty that one looks like something you could do a limited number of (marked on the poster by hand, natch) and sell for way over the price if it's big and on decent cardstock. I've seen punk bands do the same, I know you could.
  6. Jesus, like in Global? And I thought our country was crazy
  7. On a positive tip, Maryse and Nikki get a Wrestlemania payday. At the dentist office so I'll check the promo later, thanx Rippa
  8. Somebody post the promo if it comes up on Youtube, please
  9. Kasai has been FREEDOMS exclusive for a loooooong time. I think we talked about his troubles with BJW management back on the board pre-collapse.
  10. Uh, Zeidler? Irie might make me actually want to take off work if you wanna go. Unfortunately the only other name I know on the bill is Thunder Kitty because of WWE, anybody got any comments on the rest?
  11. ^^^ THAT was Thee Spot Of The Match. My jaw dropped.
  12. I knew Cage could do workrate Lucha but Lee hanging right there with him... damn. The PWG match is probably gonna be more overkill but also probably gonna be better.
  13. That was exactly what I thought watching Hero/Lee: those guys go outside, somebody's getting crushed. Cage doing a tope in the match above almost confirmed my fears.
  14. Sit back and enjoy the schadenfreude. The longer this goes the better it'll get
  15. You might love me too after this post
  16. Caught some of the 90 Hours marathon the other day and when I told my friend about it (Goodie Mob with Outkast!) on the phone yesterday he flipped, said he would have probably just grabbed a fifth and been sitting there glued to the screen the whole time. Noisey is okay (and I was wrong, they've done two Nashville episodes but the newer one is about Ke$ha and that country hip hop shit, which repulses me in multiple ways). But man, if you're gonna do a preview of the new season and show footage of Lemmy I WANT TO SEE IT, not just another political episode detailing downtrodden hip hop artists in a different city than last time.
  17. Speaking of Viceland, why is every single episode of Noisey about hip hop? The only episode that went slightly outside of the box was the Vegas one about EDM.
  18. There's always that Hate Thy Neighbor show on Viceland if I got off on that so much. Or I could just go watch old footage of Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley firing shots across the bow at each other. At least they were both intelligent!
  19. It would've been my #1 with a bullet Robocop would have been higher too. And I would be kicking myself for forgetting about Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia. Reading this thread is some serious masochism on my part
  20. Which is why I watched, and in retrospect feel kinda dirty for doing so. Hindsight is 20/20. Her inserting both of her feet completely down her narrow gullet was far more incriminating than anything he could respond with really, so there's not even the pull of Trevor's humor there. It's just rubbernecking a car crash.
  21. You know I didn't really think about it at the time because I was caught up in the rah-rah hyperbole too, but giving that horrible person any kind of platform was an awful move on Trevor's part. People like him need to ditch the ratings pull and rationalization of "giving the other side a chance". As Aus-Rotten once said, "don't give them their freedom because they're not going to give you yours" (in a tastefully named ditty called "Fuck Nazi Sympathy", no less).
  22. Ah, faithful Youtube. Like I said, this is a must-watch. The denouement will chill your spine. You can find the whole thing on there too if you want. The late Dan Curtis of Dark Shadows, Night Stalker, etc. fame actually made this for television!
  23. Wait, WHAT? They actually made a miniseries out of that and I don't even remember it?! Then again, I don't think I even had cable in 2006. "Battleground" is a cool story and I'm glad they pulled it out of Night Shift for an airing. "The End of the Whole Mess" sounds pretty interesting too; I forgot all about that story. The only ones I strongly remember from the collection are "The Moving Finger" and "Home Delivery" (which would make a great short film, especially given the popularity of The Walking Dead and zombies in general). EDIT: Apparently "Home Delivery" was optioned in 2009 and had a screenplay written for it
  24. This thread just made me remember Richard Cheese exists
