  1. Boras and Spud did a good job calling the British Bootcamp matches, stick EC3 in the mix and that's a decent commentary line up.
  2. I love Death Magnetic. It reminds me a lot of justice for all in that it takes a few listens to get into, but by god is it mixed ridiculously loud. I'm currently digging Blind Guardian, what other bands (Demons and Wizards apart) are worth checking out in a similar being.
  3. For me Capaldi is the most interesting Actor to play the Doctor since Baker, and he did a good job with poor material this season. I feel he needs a really strong second season. Eliminate the girly sidekick, aim it in a terror-edge of the sofa direction and it will be game on.
  4. After all the Rumble 92 chat earlier in the thread I watched it again tonight, random things I've never noticed before, the pop for Duggan is unreal, easily the pop of the night. Flair super selling for Valentine and Von Erich, second only to HBK super selling for everyone. Piper is clearly Dean Ambrose's real father. IRS spends a lot of time getting choked by the Undertaker. Did his kids see this, if so is that why they ended up so weird? Jack Tunney's botch laden pre rumble promo had me wondering, Vince's micro-managing, it clearly wasn't that bad in January 92, the commentary team, the performers all seem to have a degree of freedom and trust, it seems to me at some point between Rumble 92 and Montreal he just completely stopped trusting people and started micro managing every aspect of the business. It seems like Vince trusted Patterson, Tunney, Monsoon, Heenan without resorting to scripting them, or screaming into a headset. All of those guys bar Patterson had all but left by 97, combined with Hart / Michaels fiasco and WCW getting things together really seemed to mess with Vince's head. Also, it's been said before but Monsoon and Heenan are perfect, just perfect.
  5. Being stuck in a RV with Grado seems like a fate worse than death. Dixie at dinner with the finalists also showed what a stupid mark Dixie is "oh yea, if your REAL lucky, you can come to my house where some BIG names have been".... As an ex-pat who has lived in Scotland and Ireland for the last 15 years I'm still amazed anyone can understand a word Grado says. That said, NXT apart this is my favourite wrestling show on TV.
  6. Kozlov as either a new member of Lana's stable or as a Ukrainian out to defend his country against the Russians.
  7. WWF Hogan wasn't even working in WWF towards the end of his first run, Rumble 92 is a perfect example of it, the crowd hates him. The character was over exposed at that point and needed to be revamped, and look what happened when it did.
  8. Kiltschko fighting Pulev, who is from Bulgaria, which is practically Russia right? Edit. Pulev got crushed. Does Briggs beat Klitschko?
  9. That was a fun little episode of TV. Borash pretty much does this himself right? If s, he should just up and move to the UK and run a promotion, the talent is clearly there, I'd watch an hour long show with 2-3 clipped matches and some angles / promos, especially if Rampage Brown and Mastiff are involved. Also, Spud was pretty decent in the booth.
  10. I think there is merit in leaving DB to heal some more over the holidays and keep him for the Rumble and do the #30 spot they should have done last year. If Reigns is coming back soonish then they can slow burn DB and make it seem like an even huger deal when he comes back. They will be pretty stacked for babyfaces as well with Ambrose, Orton, Reigns, Cena, Ziggler, Bryan, the Usos, Ryback, all over with the live crowd to an extent.
  11. Hell of a day in the life of Philip Scotty McChibs. Digs up dead body, one of his oldest friends gets murdered, bangs Police Chief in public in front of a club member.
  12. Looking forward to Mastiff v Brown, a lot. With that beard and his accent Mastiff reminded me of Gimli and then the next big fat guy from the Un-natural disasters reminded me of the Balrog.
  13. My favourite thing in wrestling right now is Mercury and Noble. Needs a Brisco and Paterson skit to put them over the edge, give em a tag title run only to lose to Ryback.
  14. They basically did the same ending two weeks in a row. Make a deal to meet Marx, get a body part instead. Yeesh. I'm sticking with it until the bitter end but that last ep was tough work.
  15. That Paige is a witch I tell thee. A sexy, sexy, witch.
  16. Yeah, I clicked on WWE YouTube to watch this and the first video was a Diva Halloween Photoshoot video. It's almost NSFW.
  17. Rampage Brown hits the sweetest pile driver during one of the clips. It's awesome.
  18. Real American Hero Bo Dallas, imagine how obnoxious he would be if he could what no one else in America could do, if only they Bo-leived!
  19. This weeks episode is all rampage brown. And also Nordic warrior.
  20. Would be shocked if the big announcement wasnt along the lines of... "We are pleased to announce a new TV deal.... ....to bring our programming to Tajikistan, Luxembourg and Burkina Faso".
  21. At this point only Sting would be stupid enough to trust Jax, he has turned on and double bluffed every partner he has ever had. Is like to see a hokey Star Wars ending with The ghosts of JT, Clay and Opie waving to Jax over a camp fire while the Diosa girls party nearby.
  22. Gimme sleazy looking blonde haired Iwa:ms cm punk any day of the week. Has anyone watched one of the hour long matches with Hero recently? Do they hold up? I remember those being my favourite thing ever 10 years ago.
  23. The Alabama Undertaker vs. Cain in an Inferno Match Juggalo Joe vs. the Necro Baker
