  1. It's New Year over here! Let's hope 2024 doesn't suck as much as this decade has so far. 2023 was not without merit, but holy shit, could we please have a decent one while my last good years are still winding down!? Everyone out there, have fun, stay safe and alive, appreciate life and people around you, while they are still there! This is a good, fun place. Let's keep it that way! There is still hope, even for wrestling (fans)!
  2. It's actually possible I've never actually seen that one, but yeah, that would be the first time an advantage like that took place and maybe it gave Nash an idea how to win next year as well?
  3. The Horsemen w/ Larry had the advantage and also won in '91. Pillman who was banged up before the match was also the man who ended up losing due to stoppage. But if you are referring to an actual one man advantage the NWO team had due to Curt turning, then yes absolutely. That was a first.
  4. Along with the percentages backing his theory up, the first time heels won a WarGames match, it was by beating the guy they had weakened prior to the match. Incedentally, this also happened to be the first time the team with the advantage actually won the match in the end. Winning isn't dependent on the entry advantage, as much as it is dependent on overall strong team and a smart order of entry. These days it also seems to be about what kind of weapons you bring in with you, but it wasn't always like that.
  5. And I will look forward to Jericho teaming up with Sammy Guevara and having long promos on every Dynamite and Collision for a whole year and watching every minute of that before I will entertain the thought of ever checking that account out.
  6. There were people convinced on Reddit that the masked men were The Kingdom. I'm saddened by this, since Taven and Bennet seemed so sincere when backing Roddy. One of the most awesome things I have ever hear in wrestling was when Eddie said back in 2020 that he's going to take the AEW World title to his mom and say "This is why you don't have any grandchildren!" NOW he finally gets to do it! I believe it!
  7. Not sure about market, but I'm pretty sure Marina Safir could pull that off with only marginal change in her presentation.
  8. And even she's probably busy going "I wonder what my lord and saviour is saying now on Truth Social?" but yeah, only her.
  9. No more running as we got home, but I diligently did the resistance band workout and once more some elevated push-ups! Also, I went and got a haircut today and went from Jungle Boy to Loose Cannon Brian Pillman for a few months again.
  10. I was way too busy not trying to notice her backside to notice her frontside, but at least you caught this unfortunate incident.
  11. Listen to @Kang He has the right idea! That was really F'n awful and you have every right to be absolutely upset about that, but you are worth more than harming yourself. You are a wonderful, good person, please stay safe.
  12. Sadly, this is probably totally correct. Although that could have been the reason why Cole hired other people to help MJF at the very beginning, because he was hurt and couldn't do it, then someone else took over and he wasn't aware of it.
  13. Still saying Britt AND Cole oblivious of each other as The Devil(s) is very interesting choice, albeit not one I came up with! What if Roddy and Cole were the Devils?
  14. I thought about that and yeah, the weapons kinda cheapened the "may the best man win" code of honor, because anyone can get lucky with a weapon shot! But that didn't come into play, fortunately.
  15. Best we can do is Flair and 3 cans of Whooo Energy, sorry!
  16. Considering there are now a bunch of guys with no actual match on the PPV, due to not making to the finals of Continental Classic, there's a good possibility that the 20-man battle royal for the TNT-title shot could be REALLY loaded! Bryan, Claudio, RUSH, Briscoe, White, Brody, Hangman (not in the tourney, but not booked, either) and a bunch of others.
  17. Both semi-finals were awsome. Considering how strong Mox has been booked in this tournament, him winning the whole thing would be such a "LOLCenaWins"-thing, I see basically no way it can happen. No, it CAN happen, but it definitely shouldn't! Eddie, stop doubting yourself and just do it!
  18. The other masked man, now a new ROH tag champ, sure as hell reminded me of O'Reilly. The other one I couldn't get a handle on, but yeah, there could be something Fishy about him, for sure! @Lawful Metal I thought FTR accepted the challenge on Collision, after the Garcia v Brody King match! Maybe they just forgot the graphic? Let's hope so!
  19. I was pretty sure this would happen when I heard their contracts weren't renewed with WWE. They are an excellent tag team that is a definite asset to any company they sign with! Good job, TNA!
  20. If Mox goes to the finals, then Eddie goes too. And if that is the title match, then the only correct ending is Eddie going over. They have unfinished business from earlier this year, as well as 2020.
  21. On Collision, the damn Continental Classic was damn near perfect! The draw between Bryan and Claudio was great and logical. They went all out, but held back during the match just enough not to be able to settle the match within 20-minutes, alhough Claudio sure did try to pull it off in the final seconds! Garcia not giving up despite being destroyed and getting the win with a wrestling move was also very good. Daddy Magic trying to protect him from the post-match attack by HOB was touching. Eddie pulled it off against (not all but still) bad odds and getting the chance to avenge his loss to Danielson by this huge win over Andrade. The trios match was exciting, I could have done with a title change here, but Top Flight Action got pretty damn close, anyway! Maybe target the ROH six man titles as soon as possible? Women's tag went pretty much the way I thought it would. Rosa could definitely challenge Julia after the PPV. Abadon winning the title would be very shocking, despite their impressive win-loss record. Haven't basically all their losses come in title matches prior to this? Skye Blue's new attire was impressive to say the least. She seemed to have suprisingly good cohesion with Julia. I liked the fact that Brian Cage and Keith Lee gave at least 15% of the agile flying stuff from their previous matches in this one. I was expecting even less than that. Either way, it wasn't what it once was, but still impressive power stuff with some agility thrown in! So, the other League was as predictable as possible until unpredictable (in the worst way possible) 3-way league final, while the other one was unpredictable until the predictable (in the best way possible) league final. Well, given the participants, any combination should make for at least a very good match at World's End! You're in a pretty good place if Mox vs Danielson in the finals is literally the most boring outcome of this thing! The damn Rampage has once again not found its way to DANZ as of yet!
  22. A handmade wooly buff-thingy you can use around your neck as a scarf of more on your head like a hood. My sister made it for me. My friend got me a whole box of protein bars and a standard size (0,7 litre) bottle of Finlandia Vodka. I bought a new pair of bluetooth earbuds for myself out of necessity, as the previous ones started to be very unreliable. I also got the World's End PPV on Triller TV for myself. The three night stay at the Hotel/Spa on the Southernmost part of Finland was the only "present" me and my wife got for each other. In part, due to the dinners and breakfasts had at the hotel during our stay, I also got the gift of mass, as this morning I no longer qualify as a cruiserweight, 205,1 lbs.
