    There's a PSN flash sale that's mostly stuff that was already on sale in the holiday sale, but they added Red Dead 2 and Dragon Quest XI and a couple other things.

    The Steam Winter Sale started today, if that kind of thing interests you. I have enough PC games in my backlog to last me until the heat death of the universe so I'm hoping I can make this 2 sales in a row where I don't buy anything.

    My nephew signed to play for North Texas today, following in the proud tradition of the Von Erichs and Steve Austin.

    Three team trade happening: Ariza to the Wiz, Oubre to the Grizz, Selden/Brooks/Rivers to the Sun's. Not sure this really moves the needle for anyone except maybe the Suns get even worse somehow.

    I at one point owned an entire album of ska covers. Really the only hard part was picking which one to share.

    I really don't understand why Sarver doesn't just sell the team. He's in it for the money and team valuations are likely as high as they're going to get. Cash out and let someone who actually cares about basketball take a shot at it.

    Nah, that's only for people you want to be found and returned. Robert Sarver is threatening to move the Suns unless Phoenix approves a new arena deal. I hope they tell him not to let the door hit in the ass on the way out, but I don't have much hope of that.

    I hate the Peloton Christmas commercials with my life and they are on every break on Hulu. How fucked up is this marriage that they're both spending all their free time sneaking off and neither one notices?

    I put plastic over the windows to try to keep out the drafts and it took Bruce about an hour to put a hole in it and 3 days for this to happen:

    We just have a little fake tree, but I'm nervous about putting it out this year. I have a feeling Bruce is going to find it to be Too Much Fun and I'm not sure there's anywhere in the condo we can put it that he can't get to it except for like the top of the fridge.

    I played about 30 minutes last and I have no fucking idea what I'm doing. Beating peoples' asses as Mario is pretty fun, though.

    Apparently what I really meant by this was "I'm going to impulse buy it tonight." So I guess I will be seeing what all the fuss is about.

    Yeah, the only things really holding me back are lack of local people to play with and that my backlog has gotten truly apocalyptic. Maybe after I finally finish Zelda and RDR2 I'll pick it up.

    Eh, he inherited a playoff team. He definitely had some talent to work with, even with the injury issues. I'm in the "Hoiberg is probably not a good NBA coach" camp, but I also think firing him mid-season is dumb.

    I voted Bob's Burgers because I think that's far and away his best work, but he'll always be Coach McGuirk in my heart.

    They've also heavily implied that Bob is bisexual once or twice. Except for a couple of early missteps, I think they've done a really great job with queer and trans representation on the show.

    Actor and magician Ricky Jay has died. One of my favorite character actors and one of the most distinctive voices I can think of.
