  1. They did just launch a new wave of TV ads, but I'm guessing they're trying to adjust their overhead on this one after spending a fortune on BvS and Suicide Squad advertising.
  2. Sheamus may be reckless with that kick, but blaming him for Bryan's career ending is a stretch.
  3. I was flipping around on cable the other night and saw a WWE-produced crime movie from last year called Term Life. Has anyone watched it? It's based on a graphic novel and has a really stacked cast (Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Hailee Steinfeld, Taraji P Henson, Jonathan Banks, Terrence Howard, and Bill Paxton.) It was also directed by Peter Billingsley (Ralphie from A Christmas Story.) It seemed like a real oddity and I don't remember WWE hocking it during any shows. I'm probably going to give it a shot when I have time.
  4. Bray's already a grinning asshat on TV though. It's going to bother me way more when Bayley and Sasha are all over each other's social media while feuding.
  5. New King of the Cruiserweights James Ellsworth narrowly weaseling away with the title because of a bodyguard or stable would rule. Ditto for an Xpac/Kane type of team with Braun.

I'm still disappointed I'll never get to hear Dusty scream "Orney Lorcan!" on commentary.
  7. *Vince blindly tripping over his own dick into Hunter's office, Red Bull dribbling onto his chin.* "Paul, I know it's a big get, but do you think we could land Annette Funicello as a guest host for Raw?" "Uhh...no."
  8. Great Balls of Fire has to be a Jerry Lawler tribute show, for multiple reasons.
  9. As long as the other guy is The Rock I'm in.
  10. "His license plate says BEATNGU. Beating you?" "That can't be right. Bray jobs to everyone."
  11. This is 100% going to be Hunter's entrance next year at Mania.
  12. I don't think we'll get any of that from a Vince-approved movie, but it sounds like a hell of a Ryan Murphy mini series one day.
  13. Someone on here I think suggested Joel Edgerton and since then I've never been able to picture anyone else.
  14. Was Punk's issue part-timers or that he wasn't treated as importantly as them? It doesn't make him less of an asshole, but there's a distinction there.
  15. I just think it's funny how Punk didn't appreciate the misdiagnosed Z-Pack he got but still goes to doctors when he's sick. What a hypocritical piece of shit.
  16. Looked like Miz was the latest person to leave a chunk of their body on the LED apron.
  17. Has anyone seen The Incredible Melting Man? I wonder if the movie lives up to the amazing line, "He seems to be getting stronger the more he melts!"
  18. Simon Kinberg's listed as the director on IMDB. There was some talk a few months ago about him directing the next Fantastic Four, so it's not totally out of the blue, but it'll be his first time in the chair.
  19. I don't know enough about Stampede or Stu to say this for sure, but maybe his dad was a promoter that didn't treat his wrestlers that way and Bret just took it for granted because he hadn't gotten burned before. And Vince is notorious for treating talent like family right until the moment the knife comes out.
  20. I thought so too, but apparently they had an I Quit match the following month at Over the Limit that I have little to no recollection of. Then Batista came out in the wheelchair the following night and quit.
  21. Poor guy will never do a good lucha thing again.
  22. I think the Revival made Enzo look like he had become a really good face in peril because that was the only time I remember anyone praising his work.
