  1. Tell that to his reputation and bank account!
  2. Yeah, there was no way there was going to be a graceful transition from Snyder's vision because they went into production on JL a week or two after BvS was released. The reshoots and post production cuts were just compounded by Snyder's personal loss and absence. I don't think they seized on the opportunity of him having to take a sabbatical to get rid of him.
  3. God bless Black for bringing Fred Dekker back into the game. Robocop 3 might've been dogshit but no one involved in the making of The Monster Squad deserves a lifetime sentence in movie jail.
  4. We just have to keep sending out positive Vibes.
  5. Somehow I never knew Ivory started in GLOW until today. There's a lot of bitching about part timers and the like, especially this time of year, but one of the most legit egregious deals in that regard was making her carry Moolah and drop the title to her.
  6. Make like Elia Kazan and name names! Ivory's fine. I think the women's HOF has a ton of names for years to come based on the requirements and who they're on good terms with. The men's is another story (based on what they're looking for), unless there's a number of major retirements in the near future.
  7. I guess if someone had taken an abstinence pledge the Wooo Compromise would be a good way to keep themselves from getting laid in a moment of weakness.
  8. I really thought Chyna was never going in, but they've been very free-handed with acknowledging her legacy since she passed, so I think it's a matter of time.
  9. I'm working on the assumption that someone high up at Breitbart is sitting on WWE stock and they figured it was worth a shot to use whatever influence they had as the television contract deal approaches. I mean, it's probably negligible in the grand scheme of things when Variety and other outlets do very favorable articles in a similar vein and Breitbart is so polarizing, but that doesn't mean that wasn't the intention.
  10. Maria Manic is the only one I'm familiar with because she's local here. She has a power lifter look similar to Dana but she's taller. She works with a lot of men and isn't afraid to get color, but that's become pretty common for women on the indies and it doesn't seem like WWE would hold that against her like they may have a couple of years ago. Maybe a diamond in the rough pickup.
  11. So lazy. "Have a PHENOMenal Valentines Day," was right there.
  12. Maybe she'll do a Kidman Flock gimmick and rename herself Itchy.
  13. Public Enemy came in and had heat with the locker room immediately. The impression was that the match was booked by the office as a punishment.
  14. I don't know who made this call, but here's both PN News and Badd in the WCW comic.
  15. He seems to have had a procedure to remove his skin and replace it with vulcanized rubber, so he might be in the clear.
  16. My only exposure to Lobo was on Superman:TAS. Usually when I see him I just get Dragula stuck in my head.
  17. It looks like it was taped a month before and aired four days after Takeover:Brooklyn. I figured it was really clever booking, but maybe Gargano or an agent just happened to remember the match was about to air when they needed a finish for the tag match.
  18. That reminds me that they incorporated the leg injury from the Revival match that hadn't even happened yet into the CWC match and how hard that ruled.
  19. It's crazy how many of these reviews I'll read where I'll get through like five matches before I realize I've seen the show before.
  20. Pritchard wanted him because of the Fallen Angel gimmick, but Vince took one look at him and said he was too small. It would have been strange to have someone who would've been seen as a total rando with no national tv exposure be the Undertaker's boss, Vince's new number one nemesis, and presumably Austin's new challenger. Maybe Daniels could have pulled it off, and of course WWE's filled with guys Daniels size now. It certainly doesn't seem like it was considered for very long and was just part of the process of them trying to get out of the corner they wrote themselves into.
  21. Mickey Rourke was in his own private hangar at the request of both himself and two thirds of the other participants.
  22. I had no idea Channel Zero was already back. Can't wait to check it out tonight.
  23. Yeah he was my first thought. Nash and the other guys at least had some fun and made lifelong friends. Goldberg seemed to always be removed from the rest of the locker room and all about business. A lot of people have died while working at a job they weren't passionate about. I'd say most people that have died on the job. And even if he loved it I'm sure he would've bounced in a second if he knew he'd die doing it. Owen also made good money and seemed to have a ball goofing around with his friends and family at work. He just put his wife and kids first.
  24. It's pretty impressive they got that many of the actors in the same room at once with all those schedules. It could have easily been a Sgt. Peppers cover scenario instead.
  25. Bock could have played a player/coach role similar to Flair in Evolution. Whether that would have been beneath him even at that stage in his career is another story. It certainly would have been funny to see him shake his head in disappointment at Flair promos about meeting women in airport bars.
