For the past 5 years been donning the Ultimo Guerrero mask and calling myself Ultimo Gallos while doing commentary work for a few small southern feds. And have always wanted a wrestling title belt,not a replica a legit one. Last year on May 4th Hoodmark Lucha Libre had their first,and sadly last show,Matt Cross beat Ricky Reyes for the title. The two guys that owned Hoodmark had a falling out. So one kept one of hte belts the other kept the other belt. About a month ago got a call asking if I wanted the belt. And it was the one Cross won. Was told to make an offer. I made a really really low offer and they accepted. So Leap Year 2020 I picked up the belt. Now Ultimo Gallos is the Hood Mark Lucha Libre Central American Champion!!

Just learned my local indy,Bayou Independent Wrestling,has booked Damien Wayne!!! and Kincaid for their July show in my town. So after hearing about and seeing clips of Wayne here on DVDVR for what feels like 20 years I will get to see him in person.

I love how supportive this place is. Cause of the fucked up weather down here,in Central MS we never really got winter this year,my depression has acted up a bit. Normally my cycle from depression to manic happens on a somewhat normal schedule. But with there being no real winter I have in some days cycled back and forth thru them. Thankfully I got a great support system locally. Good luck Eddie on the job hunt. And Natural always remember no matter what it will get better. Like my amazing lady tells me often "We are both broken,but put what pieces of us are leftover together and we are whole again."

Moonshine has mostly been working East TX based indies like VIP. BIW used him for a few years on their shows in LA and MS. Really nice guy that gets over with the crowds. I will look in a bit and see what of his matches I have filmed and uploaded.

LOL they used Britani Nikole as one of the "fans" watching the Hawx Aire match. Britani just recently bought Elev8 Pro,which is a southern LA based fed that runs against Luke Hawx's Wildkat Sports in Southern LA. And years ago Britani was the ring announcer for Wildkat.

A friend of mine's dad managed to embezzle close to 1 million from Jackson County MS back in the early 90s. MS is fairly corrupt. But stories about the corruption rarely make national news.

If what is rumored is true this embezzlement ring is huge.

I have been called in for jury duty 4 times now. First time I was in Texas and I got out of it cause work was uber busy. The last three times have been since I moved back to MS.Each time I get the summons I bring a note from my doctor explaining how it isnt the best idea to put someone that doesn't handle crowds well in a jury. You would think after the first time they would just stop summoning me. Nope. My lady served on a jury 3 years ago. Big murder case and she hated it

Good advice. My parents are 74 and 77. And both have health issues. Thankfully they were smart and 15 years ago paid for their tombstone and funerals. Which is why I am making my funeral plans now. Gonna get it all paid off before I hit 50,in 4 years,that way my two boys dont have to worry about it. Going very simple,get cremated then have my ashes divided up between my two sons and my lady. Sorry to hear about your father sir. My mother is showing early signs of dementia.Over the past year my dad ,who is the older of the two,has take over taking care of their home and most of the cooking. I do most of the grocery shopping for them. And set up with Amazon 4 times a year deliveries of all the cleaning products they need.

My home state and Brett is a guy I have hung out with a few times 5 years ago. Not surprised it's MS the most ass backwards state in the US.

I gave up on Chikara not long after they came back from the shutdown. Only person I know that still follows them is the promoter of Pro Wrestling EGO. Few years back traded him that Big Vision Chikara dvd for free entry into a bunch of EGO shows.

Figured that since more and more people are becoming Tim Storm fans yall might be interested in seeing one of his matches from before he became known outside the TX/LA/MS area. Been told by Tim that until the NWA Powerrr match with Aldis,that this match against John Saxon was Tim's favorite match.

No idea why it is showing a grey screen but the video works. This was the main event from last weeks Lost Art of Wrestling event. LAW was started by MS indie guy Paul Riot. He wanted a family friendly fed that ran the mid MS area. Rey Fury is the first LAW champ. And his first big challenger is ROW/MLW talent Gino Medina. On the same channel as this match is the entire LAW show. Plus Gino's seminar. The channel is ran by a guy that just turned 23 and has been going all over the deep south filming matches since he was 17. Last year him and another friend promoted the first Lucha Libre show in Mississippi.

Started watching Wentworth about 3 weeks ago. In the middle of season 3 now and damn this is good. Saw it has 2 more seasons to go,for a total of 9.

No mentions of how Sundance went from a channel with decent movies to being the Law& Order an Mash marathon channel? Pretty much every big cable channel has gotten a bad case of channel rot. It feels like every channel Universal owns shows hours every day of L&O and L&O SVU.

This is the third time I have bought Hard Ticket to Hawaii. First got it on DVD when BRentwood/BCI released it. Then got that cheapo Mill Creek Andy Sidarius films set. And then ordered the Blu Ray months ago. While Hard Ticket gets all the praise Picasso Trigger is my fave Andy Sidaruis film.

Got three books for Xmas and of course I started reading all three at once. Death of the Territories-ABout 80% of the way thru this. Good damn book. It has become my bathroom reading book. Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame the Tag teams-ABout halfway thru this. Pretty good so far but not as good as the Pro Wrestling HOF The Heels books. Again Dangerous Visions-Have been wanting to read this for years and years. My favorite uncle got it for me for Xmas this year. Just started the first story. What I am wondering is what is gonna happen to the third volume now that Harlan is dead.
