Adding NXT to the matches at least gives it some sense of actual stakes. I could never believe a RAW or Smackdown guy caring about beating the other, but I could see the motivation behind them wanting to beat all the NXT guys who get all the praise over the main roster every big PPV they run. It's something at least, which is better than it's been for years.

After last night, I could see them running Rush/Garza again to get a title match on the show. I feel like those two could really use the two ring setup to do some crazy shit.

Because it couldn't get worse than losing by 2.74 points to RIPPA two weeks ago, and I then went ahead and lost by 2.7 points this week. God I remember why I tell myself I should stop playing this stupid game every year now.

In the same vein as that, it seems like the Roku app at least doesn't track what you've watched. I watched 5 episodes of Clone Wars last night, went to load it up this morning and it went right back to episode 1. Also ... I'm going to need some stronger coffee.

They usually take the holiday months off and then run again in January, so I would imagine that's the earliest they would return.

For a company that is priding itself on being ant-WWE, running SCU/Lucha again a week and a half after the tournament ended would be the most WWE thing possible for them to do. I feel like a 4 way or something with SCU on commentary to establish a contender would make a lot more sense and still get them on the show.

100% this. It feels like with a high enough sneak and lying, you could get through this game with barely shedding any blood (at least so far)

Yea, this game is awesome. I’m about 4 hours in and have been sitting here for the last few minutes trying to decide on a decision that neither way feels totally right and I know it’s going to completely change the game no matter which choice I make. I can’t remember the last time a game has me torn like this so early on.

Outer Worlds is also part of Xbox Game Pass, which you can sign up to for $1 right now. From what I understand, you can upgrade up to 36 months of Xbox Gold to the Game Pass Ultimate for only $1/month, which is a pretty sweet deal. I already feel a cold coming on for tomorrow *coughcough

So all this being said - I've enjoyed what I've played so far. I haven't run into any game breaking bugs like have been posted in this thread. Career mode is completely absurd, but fun. Having a male and female character feels fresh and at least the first few chapters have a lot more variety than playing through a more linear career like last year. Maybe I'm just looking for ways to justify my $90, but so far I'm happy with it.

I got it, because I am a fool and have the day off so I figured why not. I'm in the process of the full download, but have been able to play with the pre-loaded characters in one on one mode and boy is it glitchy. The ropes basically stick to you any time you touch them. I haven't had anything as game breaking as the GIFs posted, but it's pretty bad. Count outs seem to stop when you are doing moves and then resume afterwards so the count is super uneven. Gameplay wise it feels about the same so far as last year. It took a couple matches to get used to some of the new button mapping (Y for reversals and X+A for sig/finishers) but it feels fine now. Hopefully I'll be able to dive into some of the other modes today, but this download is moving slow as dirt so we'll see. edit: Oh ... and yea the wrestlers faces are horrifying pretty much the whole time no matter what they are doing.
