  1. Always loved the HHH/Hardy match, and the rematch that follows. Personally preferred it to the main here. Great stuff that did a lot in furthering Jeff as a top guy. He was always one of my favorites so his eventual title win is an all time favorite moment for me.
  2. Styles destroying Ellsworth was perfect. Crowd was really hot for Miz/Crews, good stuff. Natalya's pipe bomb ruled, solid conclusion to the who ran over Nikki story. Ambrose/Harper was pretty good while it lasted. I love all things Alexa Bliss, currently maybe my favorite to watch. Ziggler/Corbin was alright, was a little more interested in Ziggler/Styles one on one but the triple threat should be good. Ryan Phillipe never found Randy. Really dig the hype promo for Cena's return, has an epic feel to it. Should be a great stacked show next week.
  3. Loving Kobra Moon, she rules. Her new group had a great debut thus far. Enjoyed both 4 ways, thought Mariposa had a good showing. Killshot's post-match kick looked good but the double stomp not so much. Thought for sure Angelico would win so was surprised by the finish to the main. Fun episode overall
  4. Really enjoyed Sasha/Charlotte. Great match that felt like the 30 flew by and never felt overly long. Only 'off' thing to me was Charlotte waiting forever to finally bridge in to the figure 8. Feels like Charlotte's next feud is a step down, I'd rather her and Sasha continue the endless title switches. New Day losing seemed like a foregone conclusion so it didn't feel like a real big moment that they finally lost, did like the clever finish though. Have had very little interest in the cruiserweight division so when Neville showed up I thought oh cool, then he started kicking ass on the dudes I can't stand and thought that was absolutely awesome. Didn't expect that at all. Hopefully that gives the division a much needed boost. As others have said, everything else felt like a standard Raw as we'd seen those matches tons of times. Already tired of the forced Shield reunion spots stuff but I did enjoy the main event well enough.
  5. Awesome win for Waterson, great to see her back. Good win for Gall as well. Hated to see Aldana lose and very surprised Leslie beat her but a very impressive performance from Smith.
  6. What an event. The first hour was fun with random matches in the different atmosphere while the second hour was another amazing chapter in the Hardy saga. Lashley vs Edwards was good stuff while it lasted and as it continued without ever getting a winner. King Maxel is 1-0! Loved the Rock n Roll Express involvement and especially the Road Warrior Animal cameo. So much going on throughout Apocalypto, awesome chaos. the DCC in and out was hilarious. Great House Hardy celebratory ending as well. Definitely an amazing episode that lived up to the hype. Fantastic end of a great in-ring/Hardy year in TNA. Quick results:
  7. Thought it was another very enjoyable SDL that flew by quick, but Ziggler is still one of my favorites too. Felt similar to when he won the 6 pack challenge for the SummerSlam title shot, lots of great sequences throughout the four way. I like the protection of Ziggler's superkick, as usually he doesn't hit it in the matches he loses but wins when he does. Surprised Miz went out so quick. The opening seg that set it all up was exciting stuff as well with everyone getting involved. Really liked Carmella/Natalya, and Alexa/Becky was a great furthering of their feud with Bliss continuing to kill it all around with excellent work. Tag battle royal seemed a bit predictable but it was pretty fun, nice win for Ryder so it sucks he got hurt. Styles/Ziggler should be a great TV main event regardless.
  8. Loved the Kish/Yoder fight. Great exchanges throughout, really thought Yoder would pull it off in the end. Good debut for her anyways.
  9. Great to see Galloway back, looking forward to having him back in the mix. Allie's story progression was fun. Main event was another one with a good big match feel and they got a lot of time. Finish wasn't the best version of that but sets up a rematch down the line. Next week should be show of the year I hope, as usual the teaser trailer looked amazing. Excited to see Lashley's back among all the chaos of Total Nonstop Deletion. Funny that they edited out of the TV broadcast Matt's mentions of the Bucks of Youth and Day of the New in his promo.
  10. Love the Alexa/Becky segment as usual, Alexa looks awesome as champ. Carmella also good as usual. Enjoyed the main, Miz using the running knee was great and a perfect near fall. Sucks that it looks like Slater & Rhyno will split already, hoped they would remain a team in the division even if not champions.
  11. Miz and Maryse were the best on the latest episode, great additions to the cast. Should be interesting to see the Paige/Del Rio drama kick in this week.
  12. Definitely want this to happen now. Bryan can do the same kind of Survivor Series reveal "I looked over the roster list and I can't wrestle.. but then there's one other name at the top!"
  13. Great stuff from SDL. Opening tag title match was kind of disappointingly short but effectively done and they worked a fast pace. The New Wyatt Family was the right team to beat Slater & Rhyno. Bray & Orton make a great duo thus far. I hope Slater & Rhyno stay in the tag mix for good and don't just split up any time soon. Nikki/Carmella was a fun brawl. Miz/Ziggler was another great one from them, thought Miz was legit injured when he fell from hanging on the title. Corbin/Kalisto exceeded my expectations and was very good. Loved Becky/Alexa as maybe my favorite of the night. It's been such an excellent feud and both women did top notch work throughout. Very happy for Alexa to get a well deserved title run. Looking forward to the feud presumably continuing further. Wild main event for sure. AJ's springboard 450 is the best. I was hoping Ellsworth wouldn't get involved as the match was so enjoyable with just Ambrose and Styles throwing everything at each other but it'll still be interesting to see what happens next.
  14. Solid show that moved quickly all the way through. Aron Rex's title reign ending like that seemed rather abrupt and left him and Godderz' feud unfinished, but a nice moment for Moose. Love Allie in her segment as usual. Great to see Broken Matt return to form, enjoyed the tag titles match. X Title match was good with a twist in the post match. I have missed Lashley the last few weeks as he's always a highlight when he's on. Very good main event where both ladies delivered in their performances. Thought Rosemary looked like a total star as the new champ and looked great throughout the match, looking forward to her reign on top of the knockouts.
  15. "That's what pay per view is ALLLLLLLLL about because ya neeeeeeeeeever know!!!" The Survivor Series 2010 one linked last page is always classic "Cena's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!" "Cena's...fired..."
  16. Awesome stuff and the Triad looked fantastic. I didn't expect one of them to actually get the win, knowing Black Lotus would be last, so that was a very cool outcome and Hitokiri was amazing there.. loved her roof dive and the finish. Good stuff throughout. They had me happy for Black Lotus getting revenge, but in the end still feel a little bad for Pentagon getting beat up even though they were just doing what he did to them. Great show-long match/story that felt like it got the three newcomers over right away.
  17. Another excellent Becky/Alexa segment, awesome stuff from both. I figure Becky retains but I think I want Alexa to win it, big fan of both but feel like Alexa deserves at least a little run coming off a hot streak of great work in ring and on the mic. Wasn't crazy about making it a tables match but I'm sure it will still be good stuff, looking forward to it the most of TLC. Solid brawl to further Nikki/Carmella. Loved the main event tag. Becoming a big fan of this new Wyatt Family, really digging Orton and Bray together. Thought the match went pretty much perfectly with both teams looking strong. All of the matches that are on tLC so far have a mostly great build.
  18. Hated taking the title off Kendrick already, thought he'd have it a bit longer than one month. Several near falls felt like that should've been it. Still don't care much about anyone else in the division, other than Noam Dar having a cool Raw debut. Did enjoy Aries on commentary.
  19. I rewatched the match but didn't catch where in the match it was said, still find it hilarious though.
  20. Sad to see Sexy lose it so quick, but a fun main event and Mundo is a great heel along with the rest of the group. Always enjoy Taya, looking forward to Taya vs Sexy in the future. Trios opener was a super fun one, packed a lot in to a short amount of time.
  21. Fun Thanksgiving Impact. Good stuff from EC3 vs Eli Drake that had a main event feel to it. Felt the finisher kick outs were well done here, like Eli kicking out of the One Percenter when it looked like EC3 didn't hit it perfectly and the finish was a good sequence since EC3's using the choke finisher more now. Allie was great in her segment as usual. Nice little promo from Rosemary building up next week's cage match. The Turkey Suit returns as the Thanksgiving tradition. Solid tag in Snow/Shera vs the Tribunal and the main event was a pretty good brawl. More greatness from Broken Matt throughout and a perfect closing shot for the episode.
  22. Cracked up at the last two sentences. That match is definitely one for the egregious table set ups. The final bump Taker takes was one I always remember, as he seemingly set the ladder nowhere near under the title but off to the side to go through the tables out there.
  23. After Survivor Series, I really dig the idea of Orton/Wyatt going after the tag titles. Looking forward to them vs American Alpha next week. Shane/Ambrose interactions were hilarious throughout the night. Love the Alexa/Becky segments, should be another great match at TLC, also looking forward to Nikki/Carmella in no DQ. Almost thought they'd give Nikki/Carmella the tables match, since they set up the Ladder match, the Chairs match, and TLC but not the Tables match yet.
  24. The 9 Singles losses listed: 1. 7/24/97: Loss to Chad Fortune (Dark match pre-debut) 2. Starrcade 98: Loss to Kevin Nash (pinned after being tasered by Scott Hall) 3. 10/25/99 Nitro: Loss to Bret Hart (pinned after interference from Nash, Hall, & Sid) 4. 12/5/99: Loss to Bret Hart (House Show) 5. Starrcade 99: Loss to Bret Hart (Montreal Screwjob finish from Roddy Piper) 6. 12/20/99 Nitro: Loss to Bret Hart (pinned after interference from Hall & Nash with baseball bats) 7. 7/24/00 Nitro: Loss to Booker T (pinned after interference from Jeff Jarrett & Ernest Miller) 8. Fall Brawl 2000: Loss to Scott Steiner (passes out in submission after a lead pipe shot and interference from Vince Russo, this one was no DQ though) 9. 7/20/03: Loss to Triple H (House Show) Other instances he was pinned: Sin 2001: Totally Buff def. Goldberg & Sarge w/ career on the line (Luger pins Goldberg after Buff Blockbuster) SummerSlam 2003: Elimination Chamber, HHH pins Goldberg after sledgehammer shot Armageddon 2003: Triple H pins Goldberg after Kane's chokeslam in triple threat match.
  25. I thought the men's survivor tag was insanely fun and a blast to watch. Loved Shane going the distance lasting over 35 minutes, especially near the end when he suddenly starts whooping Reigns and Rollins for a moment. That mid-air spear was sick, perfect way to go out by ref stoppage/TKO. I usually hate the forced Shield reunion teases but thought it was fairly well done here. Loved Orton and Bray here as the New Wyatt Family tag team in action, I've been unsure on the turn since it happened but I'm liking it more and more, tonight they looked awesome together. Glad SDL got to win the big one, thought they had the better women's team too. Lesnar/Goldberg was shocking, never would've expected the match would seriously go like that. Goldberg never had squash match main events then he squashes the unstoppable for years guy in 1:30 with three moves.. crazy. The 52 minute Survivor match followed by this was a wild way to end the show, too bad it ended so early though. Thought Corbin blasting the Kendrick/Kalisto match was great storyline continuity. Tag survivors had a superb finishing stretch, New Day going out first so quick was a shock. Cesaro & Sheamus + the Usos looked great. Looking forward to the follow up on most things this week.
