  1. Thirding the vote for Joanna, who shot to the top and became one of my absolute favorite fighters
  2. Pretty standard show but the Wolves tag was a fun sprint which is what I wanted to see the most. Loved all the Angle vs Davey teases with their big faceoff, duel ankle lock spots, and the finish. Seemed weird hearing Kong cut a normal promo with the Dollhouse compared to how she was usually nearly silent most of her TNA run. Abyss/Grado was a random match to go all out with the barbed wire, thumbtacks, etc. Main event was pretty good, Beer Money looked good being back together. One Night Only: Live (January 8, 2016)
  3. Here are the matches taped over the last few days. One Night Only: Rivals (February 5, 2016) One Night Only: Joker's Wild (March 4, 2016) One Night Only: Live airs tomorrow night.
  4. He said he's going to try wrestling with a big knee brace and see how it goes, maybe toning down his style as well, before deciding to have surgery that will keep him out for most of the year.
  5. That sucks. Cena and Orton were on every Mania since 20 and now both miss for the first time. A shame to not have two of the biggest stars on the Mania they wanted to break the record. I wish Hogan could be involved with Mania.
  6. Fun enough show that had some excitement and fresh feel to it with the new champ being crowned and being live though nothing was blowaway great on the show. Angle/Davey is a match I wanna see once before Angle goes, so they had me excited with teases then the Wolves tag, but adding Godderz/Drake to it seems to take away from the match a bit even though I like those guys. Definitely looking forward to Angle/Galloway next week. As big of a TNA fan as I am, I think it sucks for James Storm that he didn't get to do anything further with WWE as he seemed rejuvenated there and could've done some cool stuff. Beer Money reunion is fun despite almost ruining the "surprise" by hitting the wrong music and too early. Bennett's debut came off ok with a good presentation of his entrance at least. Knockouts tag had some good stuff bu was too short. Matt/EC3 was a solid finisher trading match, not knowing what the outcome was going to be. Josh was about to lose his voice yelling for the finish. Overall looking forward to see where things go next now that the World Title series is over.
  7. Something like 1. Surprise Debut (August 1999 - August 2005) 2. Save_Us Return (November 2007 - September 2010) 3. Punk feud Return (January 2012 - August 2012) 4. Surprise Return (January 2013 - July 2013) 5. Wyatt feud Return (June 2014 - September 2014) 6. Highlight Reel Appearances (November 2014 - December 2014) 7. Reigns & Ambrose Mystery Partner (September 2015) 8. Surprise Return (January 2016-) I thought his 2013 return was a fun little run Just the heel ref now I think.
  8. Definitely wasn't expecting the title being held up in the Rumble, but should be interesting. Can't see Reigns winning back to back years but it feels a bit less predictable than before.. I wish they would do more legends coming after the title rather than jobbers taking up spots. Fun main event aside from that mess leading to Armstrong coming in. Dug the finishing stretch of the Dudleys match too. I enjoyed Jericho's return, hope he's sticking around for awhile and not just gone after the Rumble. Ziggler losing to Slater was bizarre, especially in under five minutes considering Dolph's usually in the longer matches of the night. Owens/Neville was good and liked Becky/Charlotte a lot, Becky looked great.
  9. Agreed. Big fan of that one and I loved Kirsten Dunst in it. Very memorable experience watching it for the first time back when it came out.
  10. That's how I scored it as well, with Robbie taking the fifth to seal a super close fight. Fucking awesome main event for sure. I was on the edge of my seat for the fifth rooting for Robbie to pull it off. Great stuff. And still! Loving Robbie's fights, hell of a way to kick off 2016. The ending of both guys exhausted at the final bell was epic.
  11. On the mention of the ones for Rey/Eddie and Cena/JBL.. I feel like WWE's been lacking a lot in really good video packages in recent years. With some few exceptions, mostly for big WM matches. The mid 2000s had some great ones that definitely added a big time feel.
  12. Been a huge fan ever since that first show and loved just about every event. Always my favorite events to look forward to. Lots of fun fights and fighters that became big favorites of mine. Cool that you're getting to go back through them
  13. Poor Summer can't get to stay with anyone for long. Feels like a premature split similar to Cesaro/Aksana years back. Hopefully they have something else for her to do.
  14. I've enjoyed most of Sasha's main roster work so far. Her and Becky may have been more off than usual, but their TLC preshow match a few weeks ago was very good. I thought it was cool they at least tried giving them 15 minutes considering their last Raw match was under 5. Elsewhere in her main roster run so far, I really dug a couple matches Sasha had with Paige in July-Sept, some of Paige's better stuff this year as well. Also while Sasha doesn't have a definitive direction currently, they have for the most part protected her from taking many losses. Roman's improv was good last night. The reactions to Vince's arrest and Steph's wailing, the microphone, the 'selective hearing' crack when the crowd was chanting about not hearing Vince--all very funny. Agreed, thought he came off very well in there with Vince.
  15. Liked the main event a lot, almost thought for a bit that Cena was gonna win the title back there. Cool to see Sasha/Becky get some time as well.
  16. WWE.com's annual Top 25 MOTYCs are in
  17. History made as Swagger finally defeats Rusev!! Very surprised to see that, especially by tapout. Cool to see Swagger finally get that win, even if it won't mean anything in the long term but a fitting show for it.
  18. Great stuff! Read some of it before, never heard about wanting to bring back Billy Gunn vs Cody & Ted.. would've loved that. Always hated that Holly never came back for revenge after Cody turned on him
  19. One of my fav events, Bash 88. Love that opening tag and the main event with the pops for the almost wins for the faces in both matches.
