Probably because for people hitting online in the 90's, Dave, and bunch of his contemporaries, basically shaped, intentionally or not, people's perception of what was "good" wrestling. And the "Good" was 90's AJPW style bomb throwing contests with finisher kickouts and escalation of dangerous finishers and 90's NJPW Junior MOVEZ MOVEZ MOVEZ. So, being Dave's probably the only one of those 90's writers currently still going, he's gonna get a lot of the flak. His Dave being Dave comments of "I won't rate old matches because Ricky Steamboat doesn't do poison ranas" (that's an exaggeration, not an actual statement) doesn't help the case.

I should probably circle back and finish Rebirth up, but I got sucked in by Deliver us The Moon and it's Mars sequel, and along with The Show, I figure I'll get there eventually. I did spoil myself and looked at the story (more to see how much actual game I had left), and yeah, just 2 big boss gauntlets and 1 dungeon left, but as for the story, man that got fucking weird and I thought I was following it ok. There's a lot of good in the game, but there's enough that wasn't good that I'm really unsure they're gonna stick the landing, but we'll see. I've invested enough time to see the trilogy out, but I'm not looking forward to the prospect of finishing everything off with another 120 hour game.

Tonga's showed glimpses of being decent when he decides to actually try. The thing is, the moments he decides he wants to try are few and VERY far between. Reports are amending and pointing out that only Lawler's Full-time announcer contract was up, he's still on his Legends deal so he can't really go anywhere else currently. It's likely meaning less Lawler on pre-show panels and more Big E and Punk (until he's healed). Replacing Lawler with Big E is a massive upgrade.

But, just connecting a cable from the router to the 360 will fix the network anyway. To pop the trophies, you're going to need to take the 360 online at some point for it to sync.

I'm less concerned about 16 being on rails because honestly, X was about as on-rails as you could get and it was still great, and 13 might as well been an interactive movie. I'm ok with rails if the story is worth it. Although I have noticed the hand-holdy stuff, so it might be an overcorrection to just how overwhelmingly open Rebirth is.
