The Wrestlemania Rewind shows alone are worth having this Network. Everything else is gravy.

I'm just bouncing around stuff seeing how its all working... stopped off on WM8... Fuck do I miss Monsoon/Heenan on commentary. No one has ever come close, ever.

My work policy is escenssially "if it ain't blocked, its good" and "whatever, so long as what is needed to get done gets done". So yeah. Watching Starrcade 91, and you know, if WWE wants a gimmick PPV they can rig up to push longer fueds between the Big 4, running a Lethal Lottery/Battlebowl PPV isn't the worst way to go.

Mine's OK with it. She was actually ok with me getting it because of the PPV's, and the back stuff because of how much time I spend putting the baby to sleep, it comes in handy if I've already gone through my DVR backlog.

Tried skipping around a bit, just to see how far along things are, and so far, so good.

Vader/Sting from Starrcade 92 is fucking awesome as well. Vader/Koloff from Halloween Havoc 92 is a pretty good beatdown of Koloff.

Watch Bash 92 where Vader wins the title from Sting. It was a great "Sting didn't do his homework on Vader and ends up in over his head" moment that put over Vader huge. Kinda like the wrestling equilivent of the first Rocky vs. Clubber Lang fight. Watching Superbrawl II with no issues so far. Good god I forgot just how good this fucking Liger/Pillman match was.

So VOD is working good so far. Did notice that the "all" search options are a little wonky, but work properly if you narrow down by year.

So, taking a break from the story to start running sidequests and stuff. Cleaning out areas isn't as hard as I thought it would be, since unline AC3, everything shows up on the map once you sync, and the sync's are easy enough to get to. Hunting isn't too bad, and at least you only need 2 of something to upgrade. It is a little off that roughly a third into the story, and I'm one alligator skin away from all armor upgrades, not far away from all the upgrades except the rope darts (since I haven't unlocked them yet), and one Templar Hunt away from the best armor in the game (I keep reading that the Templar armor is better than the Aztec Armor.) Grinding weak ships up north to get enough stuff to upgrade the Jackdaw so I can survive against the shit running around south is slightly annoying. I also haven't found a use for upgrading the Hideout (it gives no money or supply influx, at least not yet), and the fleet stuff is a little cumbersome since the routes never stay clean.

Hold tight, the VOD is starting to clear up.

PS3's VOD is rolling perfectly now. As is Android's.

I was thinking its just a matter of where people are getting directed to, so I did a traceroute. It can't be that the site's in Germany... Its possible being on my work network is screwing up the routing, but yeah, multiple DNS lookups Geo IP and Traceroute point to the site in Germany.

Considering that NXT Arrival is in two days, and one of the biggest selling points of the Network is WrestleMania, the RAW/Smackdown pre/post show stuff, and their first run stuff, it makes perfect sense that they're putting every effort into making sure the LiveStream runs smooth as silk at all times and has as few cockups as humanly possible, and all that at the expense of fixing the VOD. Right now, I get further into the VOD on my laptop through their website than I do the Android App, and at last last night, VOD froze my PS3 (that could be the app's fault and not WWE). Personally, I'm fine with VOD working eventually if eventually means within a couple weeks. Hiccups at launch aren't going to make me drop it, because frankly, the $10 a month for all the PPV's is worth it alone, and I'm well aware of the fact that nothing runs perfectly at launch, because there's so much shit that can go wrong. So long as WrestleMania works without a hitch, I'll forgive backburnering the VOD in favor of perfecting the LiveStream.

Listening to Heenan during this match makes what he has to deal with now even more of a fucking tragedy.

Man, I forgot about the IcoPro commercial that says that Bret Hart brings the WWF Belt with him to the Gym. Course, in hindsight, he probably did.

I love the fact that at this point in RAW, Heenan has had it with Bartlett and is taking thinly veiled shots at him. And Vince plays along. The live stream is working awesome. VOD is still having issues.
