  1. I pay $10 if I commit or $20 if I don't. Gee,that's a fucking no-brainer.
  2. That being the case, yeah, that's making a sound decision. Buying it, then bitching non-stop because it doesn't have 2 or 3 things, they yeah, that's entitled.
  3. When I say entitled children, I mean older people acting like like my 6 year old when she doesn't get her way.
  4. The 128K loss would be the people not ticking the auto-renew box since the 6 months from launch ends this week (if you count people that went for the free week first). So that's fine, and somewhat expected. And out of those 128K, I'd say half are people dissastified with the current product, the rest are being entitled children pissed that everything they want hasn't been put up yet (Nitro's, more WCCW, more ECW TV, etc). So all and all, the number is about right for something with a 6 month commitment.
  5. Far as retention rate for a new service, 87% is pretty damn good. Course, since its not in that Million range, stockholders are gonna shit, and the people that want to see the Network fail for whatever reason are gonna do dances and start a deathpool. But 700k for a new service after 6 months is pretty damn good, looking realistically.
  6. I think this movie set the record for most cameo's for a b-level movie.
  7. There's a tasteless joke to be made there, but then again, I'm not sure TNA wouldn't take em.
  8. If you're not watching this, you should be.
  9. They didn't fire him. He quit because they wouldn't.
  10. If it compliments me if I manage to pull off any kind of combo or a win in USF4, then I'll deem it worth it.
  11. Only $500K? Looks like The Network is getting some new programming.
  12. Where are you seeing that? The FAQ I found says they are "considering a discounted price" for PS+. http://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/psnow/faq Says a Complimentary service, who knows what that means, but I suppose I'll find out tomorrow.
  13. Fuck, only AIW??? How much do I need to bribe whoever to get him to do a PWS run?
  14. Oh hey, because the Open Beta starts tomorrow, I saw in the FAQ that PlayStation Now is complimentary to PS+ subscribers. But, I can't find what that means, anyone got an idea?
  15. Um... Better late than never? Kinda like fixing the barn door after the horse ran all the way across the country.
  16. I'd say NBC/Universal, but they already got WWE. I don't think there are any real networks with money that aren't owned by Disney/NewsCorp/Universal/Viacom, none of which would run TNA with Dixie at the helm.
  17. Juno was the shit for when you were a kid and your parents wouldn't spring for everyone's outragous hourly rates and you just wanted email, and could get to Usenet because your local BBS Admin was fucking awesome and had access.
  18. Worse organization right now, the Four Letter or The Shield?
  19. Ok, question before I go all endgame. My Asset score is well in the green (I DL'd the Extended Cut so my threshold was 3100, I'm at like 5000). Do I need to really jack up my Readyness Percents, or are they just trophy fodder/necessary if I didn't have EC?
  20. Drunk Tali is awesome. Never has a game made me want to get my hands on a bad guy as much as ME3 has, ever. This series has now overtaken everything as my favorate series ever, and I'm only on playthrough one. Just gotta up my Galatic Readyness and I'm ready to startup the endgame. Then I do a FemShep Vanguard playthrough.
  21. Especially when the amount of data and processing power needed to render full 1080p60 is fucking massive. Also totally forgetting that no console in the history of consoles had software using the full potential of the hardware within the first couple years of the system. None. Shit, look at the EOL NES stuff compared to launch stuff. Hell, compare it to launch Atari 7800 stuff, and the 7800 had argubally better hardware.
  22. RoH's Cable PPV wasn't a failure per-say, but between how much of a cut of PPV providers take (50%) and booking being hamstrung by pre-taped PPV's, there were issues. That said, ROH does an hour of TV a week now, and there's nothing holding Spike to keeping the slot at 2 hours, so it could easily slot in since its probably in the best position to slot right in.
  23. Don't think so. By the time Lawler was doing more than just Superstars commentary, Monsoon was pretty much off commentary and producing the show.
