  1. Tyler, The Creator & A$AP Rocky's new single, Potato Salad, is probably my favorite thing in hip-hop right now. I can't wait for their collab album. Odd Future and Rocky's first mixtape sparked my renewed interest in rap back in 2010/2011, so this is just a perfect combination for me. I can't even describe how hyped I am for this. The video has some serious Otis by Watch the Throne vibes, too. I'm not a fan of his music, but Jaden Smith is an upgrade if he's supposed to be the Aziz to Tyler's Kanye and Rocky's Jay in that clip.
  2. Mickie James challenged Trish Stratus to a match at Evolution on Twitter.
  3. Ted Cruz wants to prosecute Gunn “if these tweets are true”. what.
  4. I'm sorry, am I supposed to be offended that James Gunn made a blog post about having sex with imaginary characters, and then made jokes about said imaginary characters made up sexual preferences?
  5. If they aren’t going to keep making Thor movies, then I nominate Taika Waititi to be the new director.
  6. Maynard isn't really a well known name like Aziz or Chris Hardwick. I'd go as far as to say that Tool isn't even that well known, unless you're already a fan or just obsess over/love music. The general public might know "Sober" but probably couldn't name the band that performs the song. This isn't 2000, and no one really knows or cares about A Perfect Circle anymore. If it was Trent Reznor or Billy Corgan or Eddie Vedder, sure, I could see it breaking into the news cycle. But MJK? I love Tool, but I just don't think they're on that level where you can put a story out there and people would care. It's sad that news works that way, but it does. I think musicians in general get a pass on these things, though. They shouldn't, but it seems like they do because "lol musicians and their groupies". Bowie is allegedly guilty of some nasty shit, Led Zeppelin could be guilty of sexual assault if you believe rumors like the mudshark thing, etc. It's like you have to do something heinous to even get blackballed from the music industry (see: Watkins, Ian).
  7. I'm sorry you feel this way.
  8. You joke, but what do you want to bet that SummerSlam ends with Hogan raising the hand of the new Universal Champion, Lashley?
  9. I guess that's technically right, since the parking lot for the PPG Paints Arena is where the Civic Arena used to be.
  10. What, you don't have a Seinfeld clip for that?
  11. well what the fuck does Bruce Willis know
  12. 90s series was really fun. The ones that came before it sucked, but I won't speak much on that, since I don't want to be called a gimmick poster -- I started Madame Secretary last night on Netflix on a whim, and... goddamn, this show is actually really good. Who knew Téa Leoni had this in her? Because I sure didn't. Never liked her in anything I've seen her in previously, but she's great in this series.
  13. Recommendations? I've only ever heard The Lion & The Lamb (from Rock Against Bush, Vol. 1) but I remember it being one of my favorite songs off that compilation. That CD introduced me to so many bands back in the day. I was a sophomore in high school when I bought it (and the DVD that came with it introduced me to David Cross, as well).
  14. Gotta love how opinions can be considered "bad takes" and "petulant arguing" just because the majority here think otherwise. I think the IC title you guys are talking about is ugly as hell. I like the oval IC belt better. Who cares? The 80s was a horrible time for music, TV, movies and wrestling. Hey, look, an opinion that not everyone shares but I definitely believe it. I'll go watch some 70s lucha now (so I can fall asleep immediately).
  15. The current one reeks of the 80s, and the 80s sucks.
  16. Even so, two different brands shouldn’t share the same champions.
  17. If you're treating RAW and Smackdown as two different "companies", then why would one person be able to appear on both? I never liked that idea and I was glad when they ended it.
  18. Didn't they change the finish because Roode got injured?
  19. @MORELOCK should be ashamed that this wasn't his answer. He is not a true Tennessean, obviously.
  20. ITT people wanting Haku single matches in New Japan when he could barely perform a piledriver on Omega. It reeks of people selling for old man Snuka in the Rumble or any other old “legend” who is basically immobile. The only question that matters now is WHOSE SIDE IS FALE ON. Underboss constantly getting no respect from you guys. Who cares about Haku and his boys when the real Bullet Club OG is left out in the cold.
  21. don’t see how the Democratic nominee can say with a straight face that people there want someone with “common sense and who is ready to lead” when 58% of Knox County voted for Trump in 2016. It would be different if this was Davidson, Haywood or Shelby County we were talking about.
