Yeah, I dunno how the show was only able to survive with only the Wyatts, the Shield, Mark Henry, CM Punk, Triple H, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar there to pique the fans' interest. The only thing I really missed from this Raw was all the sweet tag action we've been getting most weeks. Most of the teams must have been working the house show undercard. I guess The Usos and PTP were too upset by Bad News Barrett's bad news to have a match. They were only mildly concerned, so they had their match on Superstars.

I hope not, because that's not what I was aiming at. To be fair, I think Bryan is well trained enough to kick someone's ass. I was thinking more along the lines of the guys that are presented as badasses or someone we're supposed to find believable, but obviously aren't. Punk looks like a guy who could kick someone's ass in a bar fight. He's not all muscled up or anything but he just looks like a guy who'd bite your nose off or pull some other ridiculously terrible thing to win a fight. He looks scuzzy tough if that makes any sense. And I've met D-Bry and while he's a short guy, he's not super small next to an average person. He's built pretty well. Being good at bar fights is a skill that is wasted on CM Punk.

If I were training the NXT announcers, I would tell them to put over how The Ascension uses their music, outfits and lighting to psych out their opponents, like Demolition did in the late '80s with their music, masks and leather get-ups.

I was there in Cleveland for that show. It helped to have the lucha match not be marred by the commentary. The hummer angle was pretty wild when it happened that night. Of course, it turned into a huge "Whodunnit...Who Cares?" mess later. Also, you folks at home missed the best part. Scott Steiner got on the mic during a commercial break and said "You know, some things never change...Cleveland SUCKS!" He got booed out of the building. It was great.
