  1. I like how you get "up to five amenities" "I just got the free wi-fi" "Yeah, me too ..."
  2. I thought you were going to say, "... they'll dress up as Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson."
  3. I'd like to think ROH would never do something like that simply because it's Ring of Honor.
  4. Stick around for the next four 2002 shows to be uploaded. That's my play-by-play stuff. Then you can cancel. In other words, give Honor Club another two years.
  5. The fun challenge of writing "Wrestling Is Real" was figuring out what moves couldn't be used if wrestling were a real sport. No Irish whips in the book!
  6. I'd hate to see ROH bought out by anyone, but it would be great if some company bought out a competitor and they did a perfect job with the invasion angle.
  7. If this means my Chikara stuff (Best of 2002, Best of 2003 and Young Lions Cup 2) makes it to the WWE Network, I'm going to have to give this idea a thumbs up.
  8. Oh that's right -- Ray Rowe used to come to the ring at Firestorm Pro Wrestling in Cleveland with his own straight-edge posse.
  9. But if he's trying not to drive off the edge of the earth, that could make him a safer driver.
  10. I'm having a hard time finding Chikara on Amazon Prime. Any tips?
  11. Since Becky should technically still be on the Smackdown roster, she needs to troll Flair by coming out during Charlotte's matches to various "Man" songs: "I'm the Man" by Anthrax "Here Comes Your Man" by The Pixies "Simple Man" - Lynerd Skynerd "Be a Man" - Randy Savage "He's A Real Man's Man" - Regal theme, etc. Of course, WWE would have to pay to license some of those songs, and that money could have gone to pay Ric Flair.
  12. I put Xavier over on commentary as much as I could, and he seemed to be improving. Those ROH main events sold themselves without the title, and Xavier's matches were improved by the ROH title being on the line.
  13. When I announced for IWC in Pittsburgh, we had a High Stakes title that could only be defended in gimmick matches.
  14. I want to see Bayley pull off the "Kids still like me!" act, like Bret Hart did the "Canadians and other worldwide fans still like me!" act. She comes to the ring, gives her headband to a little girl and then brutally destroys her opponent.
  15. Of course, the Vince joke is that he finally saw the animated version of Aladdin.
  16. I would understand the Bucks' comments as "they don't just call themselves Lucha Brothers, they are actually brothers, like we are."
  17. Good for Vic -- I remember when he did the updates on Cleveland sports radio. I wonder if they gave him the shot to see if he could handle being the voice of NXT on USA.
  18. I think they are trying to time the KOTR tournament so it ends at Clash of Champions.
  19. This means everyone from NXT has been called up to the main roster. NXT is the main roster.
  20. AEW has been working on the chemistry of this commentary team, and All Out will be their third show together. I'm guessing Tony will be running the Control Center.
  21. My philosophy is to call the match with the audience in mind. So for ROH, I could throw in more Japanese and Lucha move names because those fans were more likely to "get it." For a national promotion on TNT, it would be best to call the move names that a general American audience would recognize. So I wouldn't call it an Ace Crusher, but also not an RKO because it's not Randy Orton performing it. I would call it a Diamond cutter.
  22. My new novel, "Wrestling Is Real," is now available in paperback and Kindle format. I hope you enjoy it! http://bit.ly/Wrestling_Is_Real
