  1. Shahid Khan maybe. Seems to be pretty hands off in letting Tony run AEW, he might let H & Steph run WWE similarly.
  2. The stock price crashed when they pretended Vince sold half the company to the host of the Apprentice and didn't smarten people up that it was an angle right away.
  3. On the other hand, someone coming in from the business world and doing talent evaluations of the PC may well decide that a guy with 10 years on the indies has more value than an ex-college football player with no previous wrestling experience. So the indies would be flooded with all the mini Corbins and Rawleys.
  4. I hadn't realised Kip Sabian was such an in-match shit talker before seeing the mixed tag match. He should up his volume so the ringside mics pick up on it. Guevara's shit talk usually makes it onto TV, but he has Jericho as a mentor, and was on LU.Makes sense he'd be a bit further along as a TV performer. So was Dr Luther a retired ex-Wrestler, or a guy who never retired and was just keeping in shape in case he got another booking, ten+ years after his last match? Because he seemed to disappear after FMW closed, but he didn't seem to be a guy who knew what he was doing, as far as being a ringside manager guy. Repackage him as a creepy nosferatu fucker who just turns up whenever someone bleeds, or something. Or put him in a best of seventeen gimmick match series with Jimmy Havoc, where every matxh has a different stipulation. You do wonder, when they were putting the Nightmare Collective stable together, who they thought was going to be the Worker of the group. Because Kong was great, but can't go any more, whilst Brandi never really got into her stride as an in-ring wrestler, and Mel seems to not have it either. Maybe that's why they were so keen to recruit Kris Statlander. They needed someone to actually do the wrestling for them.
  5. Dan Houser is leaving Rockstar games. Although he's been on leave for Eleven months already so he was already gone, sort if.
  6. Now reading Terry Funk's book. It was written fifteen years ago, and all of his criticisms of the 'current' (ie 2005) WWE are still relevant today.
  7. Yeah, when he was Robbie V in WCW '93 he was still wearing plain gear. It wasn't until he was in AJPW a year later that he started getting designs put on. And even then, he started in 89 or 90.
  8. Don't ask and you won't receive: Note to self: Look at the mirror and not the camera view in future.
  9. What was up in the Asuka vs Natalya match any way? Why was Nattie all pissed off after the duelling leglocks bit, and shouting about shooting on me? Was the big facekick later deliberate?
  10. So the NWA had a Dokken Soundtrack and Cornette on commentary. Now they've got rid of both and the new theme is Pantera. So, time to get Joey Styles in for play by play? The 90s~! Who was that other announcer guy who went back and forth from WWF to ECW, the Hype Central guy? Over gelled hair? Everyone hated him? Because he's probably not busy.
  11. If Kong's back is legit injured to the point she can't work anymore, that fall over the guard rail can't have done her any favours. Didn't look too planned either... unless it was, but she wanted to take a career ending bump that looked like it could actually end a career. Or something. I reckon the planned finish to Shawn Spears' partner search was going to be Brian Cage. Same hair.
  12. They signed Tim Thatcher and Killer Cross, of course the stock rose.
  13. So Mojo Rawley is the 24/7 Champion. His belt is on the line at all times, in all places. Except he had a non-title match last night. How is that even possible?
  14. Presumably after last time, a lot of people will be very keen on not going, or will be asking for a more significant level of financial persuasion before agreeing to. So probably no undercard Battle Royale or anything.
  15. Looks like he's in, BT Sport's WWE twitter featured him. Now whether he goes to NXT Florida or rejoins the rest of Ringkampf in NXT UK, that'll be a question. Although I think there's a decent chance that the UE are main roster bound after Mania, with Imperium going to Florida to fill the spots thus vacated. Still, whilst I quite like the idea of Timothy Thatcher having Timothy Thatcher matches on the bigger stage, I'm not too keen on seeing Timothy Thatcher having generic WWE matches, when he's capable of being so much more interesting than that.
  16. I don't know. They're either being deliberately vague, or they haven't actually decided yet and are hedging their bets.
  17. Didn't Greatest Showman makes loads more business than it was expected to, because the same people kept going back? On the other hand, everyone who loved Cats: the Stage Musical couldn't be arsed to watch the movie in theatres.
  18. This company just really loves taking smiles off faces, don't they? Last week, Edge is doing his comeback promo, everyone's happy, Orton comes out and says let's be friends again, everyone's happy, and then they do a heel turn and beatdown to send them home pissed off. Then this week, Liv Morgan gets a win with the Product Placement, Ruby Riott makes a big babyface return, everyone's happy to see the babyfaces being happy together, and... heel turn! Piss the fans off!
  19. That could be an interesting site poll. How old were you, when you first lived in a house with neither of your parents? I was 17.
