  1. Someone on Twitter checked the address that Christian listed for Daniel Garcia's mother, it turns out that it's the address to a graveyard.
  2. Plus, the guys who were in the restaraunt with Billy can vouch that Tommy was the one starting shit, and Jimmy and Henry were trying to keep the peace.
  3. I was listening to Between the Sheets this morning, and they got talking about Psicosis and how he's so well known for the matches that he had with Rey, that people never realized how verstatile he was, as shown in his matches with Santito and the WCW matches with Regal. With my curiosity thoroughly piqued, I fired up the Tube of Yous and checked out a WWA Title match between Santito and Psicosis from AAA in 1995 that lived up to the anticipation.
  4. Tuesday is going to be a long day, which I'm simultaneously excited for, but also dreading. After putting in our full ten hour day myself and the two guys I work with in the field are attending a training course for another 2-3 hours that night. It'll be great to make some extra coin, get free dinner, and also to be able to do our jobs better, seeing as my boss already informed us we're going to be a lot busier now. But holy shit 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM is going to be a long fucking day. The one thing that I'm amusing myself with is that I already showed my wife the text we all got about it, and joked that's how she knows I'm not off with my girlfriend. But I'm keeping shut and not reminding her, I'm wondering if I can expect a text around 4:00 asking me to bring home bread, or one at like 6:00 asking where I am.
  5. I fired up Mission Impossible III last night, since I've had the Blu Ray box set for close to four years and have only ever seen the first two. And holy shit, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to do it. Easily my favorite of the first three films so far. Philip Seymour Hoffman is the best antagonist of the first three films by a freaking kilometer. And I'm seriously sad that his character wound up dying, because of how great he'd have been as a Blofeld sort of recurring villain for future movies. And the scene where Hunt is making his escape through the elevator shaft and takes over the radio frequency and plays a loop of "We Are Family" over the Walkie Talkie had me laughing my ass off.
  6. The Bucks whole deal right now is that they're annoying little shits who brag and throw around their vanity titles like it really means something. Darby's promo basically pointed out that they're actually really bad at their jobs, passing on talent like him and preferring to hire their buddies. No, the "Not Kenny Omega" line wasn't necessary, but it wasn't really that out there. If the Bucks are the heels, then shouldn't people who oppose and dislike them be construed as babyfaces? I'd be shocked if anyone was even thinking about Cornette when Darby was out there yelling at them.
  7. A guy I'm friendly with made the proclamation that "Hereditary" is the scariest film made in the last ten years. So, since it was streaming on Max, I fired it up on Thursday night after the rest of the family had gone to bed. It's not a half bad film, and I've always been high on Toni Colette, but at no point did I think it was scary. It had a few scenes that definitely grab your attention, but that's pretty much it.

  9. I'm not too much of a bandwagon jumper, but the first three that Curt listed are also on my list as well. I've seen the Atlantis/Villano mask match, and I really liked it. BTW, Curt didn't specify which of the two trios matches between those groups, although they're both fucking awesome. I'll also add the Tag TItles and Hair/Mask match from When Worlds Collide, and the CMLL Tag Titles match between Volador Jr./La Sombra and Mephisto/Ephesto from the 2009 Sin Salida show.
  10. Definitely here if you need to vent, my man. I've had far too many scares and close calls with my own father in the last few years. He's presently 66 and in a nursing home due to both of his knees being shot as well as picking up the hereditary diabetes that actually led to both of my grandparents passing away. It's to the point that when I don't hear from him after more than a day, I start getting worries in the back of my mind.
  11. It was ribs. Teela: I wonder why they put the food on these little white sticks? Man At Arms: It's a rib bone!
  12. I hadn't thought of that, but I can see it happening. Rocky getting in Trent's ear that OC is holding them all back so he can be the star of the group. And in a roundabout way, blaming him for Taylor getting re-injured with the idea that the Kingdom attacked Taylor because they wanted to send a mesage to OC.
  13. As soon as I saw Mistico in the crowd, I jumped online to find out who the guys with him were, and if they were also booked for the New Japan tour. Sure enough, Star Jr. and Esfinge aren't working NJPW. And within thirty minutes, the tag match for Collision was announced.
  14. Something that a buddy pointed out that I hadn't picked up on, another possible layer to this CMLL/BCC feud in AEW. Bryan Danielson is booked for the 2/11 NJPW show against ZSJ. 2/12 is the start of Fantastica Mania, which features all four of the CMLL boys who beat down Moxley last week. I wonder if there will be any sort of interacton between them.
  15. Dawn of the Discs reported today that there will be a 4K Steelbook of First Blood as a Walmart exclusive that's due out in April.
  16. I got talking about this with a friend of mine yesterday, and we both came to the same conclusion. It's going to eventually lead to Jay Lethal completely splitting off from Jarrett and co. and teaming up with Mark. Throw in someone like Lee Johnson, who's been there forever and never seems to get anything to do, and there's a nice little trios feud.
  17. I haven't seen anything from him in ages either, to be honest. I didn't even know that he went back to CMLL, the last I saw of him was in AAA in 2019. But you can't go wrong with Mistico vs. Averno. He actually dropped his mask because WWE wanted to bring him in to work with Sin Cara, since they already had chemistry together. But, for some reason or other, it just doesn't materialize.
  18. Well Mox cut a promo on the CMLL boys saying that they came into his backyard, and they'd better hope and pray that they (IBCC) don't decide to come into theirs. And AEW already made a trios match for next week. So I don't think we're seeing Mox vs. Okada right away. I'm honestly far more excited at the prospect of seeing Averno in AEW.
  19. I'm a big fan of Taylor Tomlinson, and I just don't see this working out long term. It's a fun idea for a show, like a more modern version of Tosh.0. But CBS late night just doesn't seem like the right time or place, it's more of a 7PM on Comedy Central type of deal. And unless I missed something, CBS almost went out of their way to give the idea that After Midnight was going to be another version of the Late Late Show, rather than a quasi game show.
  20. Now that the Bears have their OC figured out, they're starting to look for a new DC. The first interview is Eric Washington (most recently the defensive line coach for the Bills).
  21. I finished "Safari" last night. It was the usual Stanley Hastings affair, with several hilarious passages that had me cracking up and texting quotes to my best friend. It wasn't my favorite of the series, but I give Parnell Hall credit for stepping out of his "comfort zone" so to speak, and telling a story in a brand new setting without any of the usual supporting characters.
  22. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Scream VI 4K steelbook. The kiddo wanted to get it for me for Christmas when it was something like $27, and then Amazon went and jacked up the price to $50 the week before the family planned on ordering gifts for each other.
  23. I used to do 5 on 1 gauntlet style matches versus Misawa on the hardest setting with the UWFI style rules. My first character would inveitably lose by charging into an elbow and getting KO'd.
  24. That was also the same day that the remake of The Omen was released. Talk about an insane double feature!
