  1. At least A.J. Styles would finally become THE face of the company.
  2. With Ylvis always being compared to The Lonely Island, I guess they came full circle on yesterday's show. The video was pretty funny, though. Also liked the ice cream video right before the end. Apart from that pretty missable show.
  3. Drew McIntyre has done the Northern Lights Suplex on occasion before, but I don't expect to see him use it again as long as he's in the position he's currently in.
  4. I had to look really close, to realize what's that coming out of his pants.
  5. Don't forget that Mason Ryan is still around somewhere!
  6. Even though both have had longer tenures in the WWE than Steve Austin or The Rock by now, it still seems crazy to me that John Cena and Randy Orton are now the grizzled veterans of the WWE. Am I alone in this?
  7. I'm still looking forward to seeing Punk vs. Ohno on the big stage one day.
  8. Aw, man, I was kind of expecting the series to go on forever. So Fables #150 will probably be the last book I will buy published by DC Comics.
  9. I think I've pimped it before on this board, but I'll do it again. If you haven't bought the Blacksad collection from Dark Horse yet, you should do so right now. I've just read the 2nd volume (or 4th, since the first Dark Horse volume collects the first three original volumes) Blacksad: A Silent Hell and I think it holds up to the first three books. There's nothing else like this on the shelves. Just the art alone would be worth every cent, but the stories are pretty damn good as well.
  10. Does anyone here watch @Midnight on Comedy Central? The concept of the show isn't anything special, but at least it's a chance to see some comedians who aren't on TV a lot. I thought it was pretty entertaing so far.
  11. You can still find some using WayBackMachine: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://deathvalleydriver.com
  12. I'd prefer them recreating Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.
  13. I think this will end with some billionaire getting really drunk one night and waking up the next morning realizing he's made a huge mistake.
  14. Reed Richards discovers a new cure for blindness, which gives Matt Murdock back his eyesight, but in a shocking twist of fate in the same issue Daredevil loses both his legs in a freak accident and becomes the world's first wheelchaired superhero.
  15. I have a feeling Big Show will walk out as WWE champion tonight.
  16. Fuck Subway in general. That shit is way too complicated. When I go to Burger King and say I want a Whopper, I get a Whooper. I don't want to say give me a beef patty inside a sesame seed bun, with some tomatoes and salad and some pickles and onions and some ketchup on top... Who has the patience for that? Not me!
  17. When Jeph Loeb takes over it'll be revealed his parents were shape-shifting skrulls from the future who made a deal with Mephisto to make Tony forget about them.
  18. Why is noone talking about the most important comic book release of the year that happened yesterday? Man, it's so good to finally read a good Asterix book again. Feels like I'm 8 years old again.
  19. People went to see ZDT to share in the joy of Osama getting his cap peeled. Catharsis WikiLeaks poked DoD in the eye and Assange is still at large and holed up in the Ecuadoran embassy in Great Britain. The hurt is still there. Mericans do not get the catharsis of watching Assange fall into a vat of acid or die in a fiery car crash at the end of Fifth Estate. I already learned there was a "wrestling bubble" on this board, but apparently there's an "American government bubble" as well. I wish there were a whole lot more people like Assange and Snowden in this world and I'm pretty sure most of the civilized world would agree with that.
  20. If TNA holds a PPV and noone is around to watch it, does anyone still chant "This is awesome"?
  21. Just eat it, but please give us a detailed report of your experience over at Land of Confusion.
  22. I guess discussion about this movie was on the old board, because I wasn't able to find anything here. I just saw The Place Beyond the Pines and I think this just replaced Star Trek Into Darkness as my favorite movie of the year so far. Absolutely amazing movie!
