Eva/Billie was going perfectly fine until the botched kick out. You can definitely see that Eva is bringing something new each week. I thought Alexa/Blue Pants was a decent little match.

Having Paige not win by DQ was a headscratcher but I'm just glad we have an actual number one contender again. I was kinda rooting for Becky though. And finally great to see Team Bella embrace their heelishness....this week I agree that Lana looked like a real idiot tonight. It's a shame that Summer comes off as the more interesting and sympathetic character in all of this.

I cringed when she called Alicia the "wrestling Nene Leakes". This is so not the demo for that insult.

Batshit Alicia was awesome. It was probably her best crowd reactions since she started. So, of course it got toned down.

Naomi was killing it with promos for a while before they decided she was just a placeholder until Paige came back. What they should have done was have Naomi beat Nikki and then have a feud with a returned Paige. Otherwise, what's the point of injuring her and taking her out for months? The story writes itself.

The WWE did the common mistake of telling us instead of showing us with the Divas Revolution. Bringing all 3 of the NXT women up at one time and then sticking them in groups was a mistake. This should have been done gradually and each given time to develop. Then again, the main show writers have never been interested in developing personalities for the women. It's why Alicia Fox spent years alternating between face and heel, depending on the week, and why the Bellas are now doing the same. And why AJ was the only woman with any significant camera time her entire first title reign. It's really a shame because all of the women have been putting in the work and improving since before Sasha, Charlotte and Becky came up, The Bellas and Naomi included. They didn't deserve that.

AJ was the most over woman at the time and the WWE showed no interest in elevating anyone else. I can see the disappointment in the divas tag but I think that had more to do with the layout and absence of Team BAD (which given Sasha's match the night before is understandable). But I thought it was decent, if a little chaotic. I think both Nikki and Brie are fine and not nearly as outclassed as a lot of people believe.

Bayley/Sasha was everything I hoped and more. Just a fantastic match. I'm really excited to see what the new crew of Nxt women deliver. Cool seeing Kana acknowledged in the crowd! She would be a nice addition to the division.

I liked Gail vs the Dollhouse. Got her over without killing them.

Man that Sasha/Bayley segment was gold. Baylee's such a fantastic underdog. You can't help but root for her.

I'd also add Summer as an Ehhh that has become a success

Nikki's wrestling injured so I thought she did well, considering. Cool to see Sasha go over though. It's the right decision with her match with Bayley coming up. If the WWE really wants to give Team Bella some heel heat, they will have them cost Sasha the title in New York.

Paige has been one of my favorites for a while and I agree that the character she plays on the main roster is very different from the NXT version. Summer is back to being awesome again. This angle totally plays to her strengths.

Tapa/Kong was a decent Battle of the Monsters but not as good as Kong/Havok. Having said that, I can still get behind a rematch.

The Main Roster Divas have always had their good moments, mainly on Main Event or Superstars, but this is the most consistently good they have ever been on Raw in a while. See, WWE, all you had to do was give them time and treat them seriously. The six ladies tag was good but I loved the brawl afterwards. And yes, Naomi's drop kick was gorgeous. I also marked for "Summer, Crush". Glad to see Summer Rae bounce back from character limbo.

I dug the stories about her family. I can only imagine how crazy that house was lol She is also someone who is still getting used to wearing a weave lol

Paige was so obviously excited to be there lol I thought it was a good interview as well. She did one with Jericho a while ago too

I believe they were going for a beautiful but strong thing. I enjoyed both women's matches too. Good week for the SS so far lol Paige and Naomi work well off of each other

I agree. While she was not the best female worker during the Attitude Era, she became pretty solid and was regularly having good matches with Molly, Jazz, Victoria, etc.
