  1. Now that you mention it, that Rock concert was tremendously unfunny and terrible.
  2. It was what it was, more or less. I enjoyed somethings, was annoyed by others.
  3. It's definitely worth your time (although for the love of God find the theatrical cut, not the extended. And I generally love extended cuts of everything.) Also, whatever you do, do not, repeat, NOT, watch The Exorcist II: The Heretic.
  4. Last year, I found the idea of him going to the Browns plausible (the unfinished business/new challenges angle) but the only way he was going to Texas was if the money was just absolutely too absurd for Bama to match or Saban to turn down. Like 11 or 12 million a year kind of money.
  5. .... So, clearly, you have never seen First Blood. Or The Terminator. Or Commando. Or Predator. Or any of the Rocky movies. Or Cobra. Or Conan the Barbarian. Hell, Statham isn't even successful. (And I liked Crank, and didn't mind The Transporter. But come the fuck on.)
  6. No college has the athletic department budget to go higher than Texas does, so, yeah, he's not leaving Bama for anything except a situation he is really excited about at the NFL level. So, hey, Texas... Mark Dantonio?
  7. No major shock there. Everyone but Texas wins.
  8. Warrior was either a terrible wrestler who had a surprisingly high amount of good matches, or a good wrestler who had a truly inexplicable amount of god-awful matches, and I am honestly not sure which. Goldberg was great at squashes, and he eventually developed into a perfectly serviceable main event guy.
  9. I haven't seen the new one yet (tomorrow night is the plan) but the first one is really slow for about half of it, but it starts building up steam, and the last hour or so is pretty excellent, with Riddles in the Dark being really great.
  10. There is a story on my local news right now about something nearly identical happening to someone in the Flint area who ordered an Android tablet, had the UPS driver leave it in her trash can (WTF?) and leave a note saying it was there. Only, it ended up being the day that the trash was collected, so... yeah.
  11. Believe me, I've imagined it already. And multiple NBA titles and MVP awards in Detroit. It's a happy thought.
  12. If they just let him wrestle like himself, but as Sin Cara, that'd be pretty cool too.
  13. And sometimes you found out amazing things. Like that Steven Regal and Psicosis have amazing chemistry with each other!
  14. Watching Andre Drummond make free throws sends tingles up my spine. If he can get up to the low-mid 60's from the stripe, he's a top 10 player in the NBA already.
  15. Hell, I get attacked for saying "I liked, but it's kinda overrated." Which it totally is.
  16. First time I watched The Exorcist I was 17ish, and I thought it was very good, but not even slightly scary. My opinion hasn't changed much in 15 years or so.
  17. I am geographically obligated to love the rookieveteran man-beast from Detroit.
  18. Captain Cold has always been my favorite villain, period. But in-universe, the rogues are individually behind Zoom and Grodd. It's only collectively that they step up to that top spot.
  19. "So, you're super fast." "Right" "And one of your two arch-enemies is a guy with the exact same power with the same costume, only the colors reversed." "Yes." "And the other one?" "He's a gorilla." "A gorilla?" "Well, he's from a race of super-intelligent gorillas that live in a hidden city. And he's telepathic." "...." So, once again, the best rogues gallery in all of comics: The Motherfucking Flash.
  20. Although I like it more than you seem to, I think that's pretty much the consensus opinion. Temple is definitely the weakest of the three Indiana Jones movies.
  21. Manning did move ever closer to shattering the single-season TD mark.
  22. Oh, if collecting something digitally counts, I collect Black Sabbath bootlegs. If anyone knows of where I could find a full concert with Glen Hughes on vocals, I would love to know about it.
  23. Never did read that, but I do have The Wrecking Crew, which, while not quite as electric as Kansas, was very good.
  24. Well, to be fair, What's the Matter with Kansas? might be the best political book of the 21st century thus far. I am working on putting together the complete Disney WDFA canon on dvd and/or blu-ray. Really, dvds and blu-rays in general. I have a fucking absurd amount of them.
