I'm just saying, his net and total punting yards put him right in the dead middle pretty much every year of his career. Is it worth paying him the veteran minimum when you can probably get a slightly less good punter for the rookie minimum instead? Probably not.

Funny, but this flippant attitude is partly what opened the door to teams not looking to bring in Kluwe, unfair as it may be. Well, that and the fact that he really isn't very good. Pretty much exactly middle of the pack over the course of his career, at least by the numbers.

On a purely financial basis, he made some pretty big mistakes during those roles down. But it's very possible he's quite content.

Harbaugh hasn't tricked any of them into extra timeouts yet...

Really it's only 4, because the decision to go for it on the 1 the first time set up the Niners in horrible position that eventually led to the punt return and TD with great field position. The math is probably that it's more like 6 or 7 or something, but I'm not a guy that can whip out stat analysis like that.

This is looking a lot like the first game. Niners can't let them hang around and just kick field goals again, they already saw how that can play out.

I did not see any facemask on the Crabtree tackle. I have very little if any rooting interest in this game (I guess pro-SF because of Harbaugh. I guess.)

The Niners need to somehow convince Kaepernick that those are just alternate colored Packer jerseys. "No, no, Colin, Packers, not panthers."
