It really is a shame we never got this. Jumbo was out of the sport right before Hash split off. If Hash had left earlier we wouldn't have gotten him vs. Tenryu and if Jumbo had stuck around through the NOAH split he would have possibly been way too old for the match to be any good. But if they had hooked up in the '80s, like if young Hash had jumped with the Choshu group to All Japan? Whoa.

Well, I went ahead and waited until AXS showed the last bits and they were two pretty bad tags wrapped up by really good endings (you will not get me not laughing maniacally at Suzuki being Suzuki) and the epitome of all Gedo matches for the final. That was the match he's been wanting for his entire life and he finally pulled it off, albeit not (entirely) in the ring. It was still great because of two great wrestlers who could sell their asses off, work their asses off, and knew their roles within the match and a ref who... goddammit... knew his place too. (Still, fuck you Red Shoes)

Santito's son was going to wrestle as Nieto del Santo but changed to Tempestad and then El Santo Jr. His nephew was going to be Nieto but Santito objected to that as he owned the rights to the name.

Well, I certainly didn't expect today was the day I'd see the Chubby Women's Pro Wrestling (pardon?) Sarah Conner fight a wrestling Terminator. And I REALLY didn't expect to see two guys parody Takeshi Sasaki and Yuko Miyamoto having a 1000000 Lighttube Death Match with fucking Legos. All that was missing was for somebody to take their boots off and run across the mat to show how hardcore they are. And hey -- it even had a proper finish with a highspot suitable for ending the match! Somebody's gonna have to tell me why Kenou has "KONGO" on the ass of his trunks.

Went and watched the Honest Trailer for Alien: Covenant last night and remembered every single thing I hated about that movie. Which is pretty much all of it. Now I seriously want to know what the Roger Ebert reviewer was on when he did his TWO seperate reviews of it (the first one getting the full four stars and the second one saying that people in the future will be coming back and raving about this movie... suuuuuuuure buddy).
