  1. Just have to say, thanx Natural for my new personal photo haha! Cheers bud. I do not hope you get hit by a car. EDIT: If anybody ever wondered who the last one was, it was AC Wild from Italy's thrash gods Bulldozer https://www.discogs.com/artist/260862-Bulldozer-2
  2. Huh. Neither of those made the '80s set and one even has a Villano, so YMMV
  3. Snowfall ended on a nice cliffhanger. I still like this series, it's strongly hanging in there. Probably the best part of this finale was actually a fairly small one Oh yeah this show is also as egregious with the Traffic Mexico Camera Filter as Mayans. You know, the country does feature colors in its landscape other than tan.
  4. Looks like they spoiled whatever twist or plot machinations they came up with
  5. I'm betting that isn't champagne in the glass but rather watered down Grey Goose cause his ice has already melted. The bottle behind him doesn't even look opened.
  6. This really deserves to turn into a huge shitstorm with them being taken to the pillory for it. And yeah, after the whole deal with the women's soccer league, how more utterly stupid and brazen can you be...
  7. I think I might be the only person alive who likes every single Texas Chainsaw to at least some extent. Even the Matthew McConaughey one.
  8. I'm gonna carry this over from Segunda and their high praise, which is very deserving. The file opens with a singles match that is mostly two guys Euro uppercutting each other to death. Both of them look like two old guys that are weirdly cut, in the way somebody's granddad who was a boxer or a sailor would look, no "supplements" here just a life spent at hard work. Then we have a LONG (and I'm not going to lie about that, you might have to take a break in this one) tag between a clear heel (note the ridiculous trunks above) team and face team... and they light it the fuck up proper real quick. The speed and intricacy these guys work at is like prime lucha but how it ends up breaking down to different tactics through the three falls is super fun and something universal to anyone who likes wrestling. You could show this to your grandma and she'd be into it, but so would you, probably even more.
  9. Clearly Chris' Uber driver was a WWE partisan
  10. https://www.slashfilm.com/deepstar-six-vs-leviathan/ This battle has actually been waged, as I found in my search for the poster image. Seeing that Miguel was in Deepstar immediately rose it 1000% in my already piqued interest, but they're right -- that cast of character actors in Leviathan is pretty hard to beat.
  11. How and why Martin seems to have gained weight in just his face is... strange.
  12. Something I just thought of: Whatever happened to the truck driver at the end of the OG Texas Chainsaw? Like, did dude manage to flag down another car? Did Leatherface gain his composure long enough or did the Cook come and snap him out of his rage so they could go get him? If he got away were the authorities alerted? Lots of interesting questions there that no-fucking-body who did a follow-up ever took on. EDIT: I mean Sally got away and the chainsaw crew just vanished into the aether in the second one but how and why they got away, especially with another witness floating around out there who has A MISSING FREAKING MACK TRUCK that they'd have to get rid of... this really is rich for perusal from somebody who wanted to make another screenplay.
  13. I've never seen Deep Star Six and wish somebody would show it. Only seen Leviathan the once before this, had it on just as background noise really while I was doing other stuff and didn't pay much attention because I thought I'd autotuned it on the DVR... and didn't. Dammit. But that did lead me to go seek it out again on Comet and scoop up all kinds of craziness they've got in the next couple days. No Leviathan of course, but it's a long month, it'll probably be on again. I DO have the Fangoria with the poster for Deep Star Six with its monster on it though. The Leviathan monster(s?) is way better but Deep Star's is a nice '50s style BEM (Bug Eyed Monster). EDIT: Well, '50-through-'80s-eyes BEM. This is the closest I could get to the poster
  14. Well, that would've been clearer. Didn't think about that, my fault.
  15. Not sure if you're being serious, so: Baby = Babyface. Just used it as shorthand.
  16. So Impact are paying for hotels for their people but won't shell out for medical? ?
  17. I'm gonna defend Bayley in a kayfabe sense that in being such a baby, she doesn't know how to seriously use a chair. That isn't so bad, is it? They should have her try it a third time and have Sasha say "no, here, give me the chair, let me show you how to lay it in" and after a brief tutorial Bayley becomes really vicious.
  18. Is that all super CGI or am I gonna freak out watching that trailer? Not a fan of spiders. But then again I did manage to get through Arachnophobia. You know the full It will come out, just on physical media and probably not in theaters -- though the extended cuts of Lord of the Rings are getting a run in the local theaters so...
  19. I saw him playing a deceptive science officer in Leviathan on Comet yesterday. He was good at villain roles, which if you've ever seen him in Wait Until Dark you well know. I grew up always thinking him of Col. Trautman from Rambo so had no idea until watching that.
  20. But which versions of Black Christmas? I mean I'm sure somebody did the original but whoever made somebody watch the remake should have to watch something equally terrible. I'm in of course
  21. What was the KD reference? And please tell me someone other than that braying jackass behind the desk made it.
  22. Here's a good joke. One of the Pitbulls had a chain match in I think Mexico one time and in an interview before the match he said "I'm the best chain wrestler in the world!"
  23. So, I guess this might finally be coming out? And I know it's just a list of talking heads but it's worth it just for the record scratch and introduction of a certain talking head that, if you know your '80s scene lore, is a shock to be on this doc. Anyway, the Big Boys rule. Now go start your own band!
