I'm gonna use this as an excuse to say that Nyla was in the first -- first -- women's match I saw in AEW, and is maybe the most longstanding and criminally underused wrestler on their roster. And she even lost that first match, to Riho. Make this stink as big as possible, because that slippery slope is a tidal wave. Use this as an opportunity. Fuck em up, the bigots.

I missed the start but that was the best wrestling show since DEAN. Hot as hell crowd. Standing ovation for a match put in a death spot worked through an injury. Another death spot women's match with no angle that excelled. Multi-mans that AEW'd super hard and gave everyone what they wanted. And what I wanted to see: a molten, bloody brawl with an insane finish and enormous surprise pop. THEY EVEN DID A GOOD PREGNANCY ANGLE?!?! And this was all 3 hours total. Wow.

Well that's... relatable... to me. Really liked that DEAN match.

Need to watch this one again. I think the World Class episode might have felt even more extreme despite missing his murder. Good seeing Iceman again!

EDIT: "The big one" being Mindcrime. I reason I like the EP and The Warning so much is probably because they sound just like '70s Judas Priest. Melodic and sorrowful. Rage and Mindcrime became a weird mix of very 'of its time' '80s prog metal and I like that too, but it took me years to be able to get into it. (I was too busy listening to Minor Threat haha) Coincidentally I've also listened to the Butthole's PCPEP and put Psychic EP on the drive in my car. Ridiculous
