  1. So y'all were right, it's not so much rumors about Rondo, but moreso the Knicks just trying to ship off Shumpert. Latest thing I heard was Asik for Shumpert. WTF.
  2. I'd be pissed it I were Asik. He improved by leaps and bounds last year, anchored their defense down the stretch, and basically got shuffled aside for a prettier model.
  3. Man, I never thought of the idea of a BOGO on ppvs, or a bundle price. That is actually a marvelous idea.
  4. I don't think Cena has that "thing" like a Hogan/Rock/Austin did. Not on a level where you give shit about his extra stuff. It seems on the whole, people wish Cena would shut up and cut out his extra shit. Most smart people love his in-ring. Everything else is the turnoff. With that said, I actually agree that D-Bry doesn't have that "thing" either. But in an age where WWE feels like they can condition fans to cheer for who they want, it seems to me that the effort wasn't really there. Being outgunned and outsmarted doesn't bode well for a top babyface on a weekly basis.
  5. Does anyone have a good number, as it pertains to illegal ppv downloads? It has to at least be in the 10's of thousands. That's alot of money. It's probably not the sole reason, but it's definitely a big one.
  6. They don't buy it so WWE give up Cutting off the nose to spite the face?
  7. You can say that about every top guy in the company post-Rock/Austin, though.
  8. I think it's definitely true that the people that love Bryan the most, pretty much refuse to pump any revenue into WWE. I've said before, and more or less got shouted down, but it boils down to trust. People don't trust WWE to do anything right, so they don't invest. Frankly, WWE keeps proving these people right over and over.
  9. Blair has always been a good player. Teams are just reluctant to invest much in a player with no ACLs. Oh I agree, he's always had the talent. It's just that Popp never really wanted to give him much of a chance. If nothing else, this season is earning him alot more money next season. Also, Rondo trade rumors popping back up today it looks like.
  10. Oh I love some blocks. That's why Hibbert is my dude right now.
  11. The reason that it bugs me, is that Bryan came up with something to get himself over, but the company is ok with letting the guy that they actually want to push take it as his own. When AJ did it, it was because she was in an angle with Bryan and antagonizing him with it. It's not the same. Consider that, if you don't actually have first-hand experience of it, you're taking Gonzalez's word for gospel. It really isn't super strange that The Big Show is doing the chant, considering that AJ has done it (in Bryan or Punk-related angles) and Del Rio has done it (in unrelated angles). Big Show has also done it all of two separate RAW occasions (I don't watch Smackdown any more). I believe it is still very much associated, both within the WWE and especially among the fanbase. So, it's not like they've just had it visibly yanked from Bryan and put on another performer. Finally, and most importantly, consider that your argument depends on information you got from Gonzalez. Fair point.
  12. Because lots of guys were shouting it while pointing to the sky before, right?

  14. Dejuan Blair is fair and away the biggest steal in free agency this season. Such a bargain for Dallas, on a minimum contract. Dude is playing out of his mind. Kinda crazy how having a coach that believes in you will improve your play.
  15. That makes me even more happy I don't watch this shit. That's kind of infuriating actually.
  16. So as someone who hasn't been watching, am I understanding this right? Has Big Show really aped the "Yes" deal?
  17. The problem is that it came long after Dirk had passed the ball. It's hard to pass that off as unintentional, even if it was.
  18. I don't think it's impossible at all. The girls are under alot of pressure. I just think alot of times people go looking to create an issue when there isn't one.
  19. Sexy? Tho that was a month ago. Good match. In fairness, it looks like they took that picture at a point where she was outstretched/sucking her stomach in. Also, she's never been a big girl.
  20. Honestly, I'm much more interested in seeing what someone who's not in the business can do with this story. Aren't Kevin's kids wrestling now? I could see family name redemption angle how the kids could break the curse and such. I think it really depends on which director they attach to it. I've only seen 1 or 2 30 for 30's that I didn't think were amazing, so there is little chance that this won't be great.
  21. He thought he was Misawa for a second there. For once, Dallas lost the game on offense instead of defense. Just way too many turnovers. Take away half of those turnovers and it's a Dallas win, because the defense was reasonably solid. Good statlines from Dirk, Blair, Monta and Calderon just went to waste. Apparently Derozan just went ham in that loss with 37 points. Also, Hibbert is a monster.

  23. LMAO damn, that's a hell of a typo by me. KEVIN! Kevin Von Erich.
