I hope not. Envy was tweeting a lot about SEAdLINNNG even when she was still in Stardom last summer, I think she is just friends with and/or really likes Takahashi so was being nice. Since they had her in the finals of the GP, I hope once she heals from her injuries that they have her back.

The issue is not that he had a drink, the issue is that they believe he has a drinking problem. He went to rehab for something, and he hasn't behaved like someone who took his rehabilitation seriously. This isn't about someone not being able to have a drink, this is about whether or not that person is capable of having a drink responsibly. They do not believe he can, and he knows they don't believe he can control his drinking. Somehow he not only keeps drinking, but he keeps drinking in places where he can be filmed drinking. If he was just having a glass of wine at dinner or toasting at a wedding, I don't think they'd care, but he is drinking in places with people who don't even respect him enough not to film him and put it on the internet. I'm not famous, but when was the last time you drank with someone who would film you and put it on the internet if they knew it could cost you your job? Either he's drinking with complete strangers or with people who don't have his best intrests in mind. His judgement seems a little worse than questionable, and that is the problem. How can you put your team in the hands of somoene who could end up in rehab when you need him the most? The problem is that a quarterback is too integral to the success, or lack thereof, to risk the future on your team on someone who may be an alcoholic. I don't necessarily disagree with all that, he has an issue for sure. But there are probably 100 other sports players in those clubs too, we see it in the NBA, MLB, etc. Even if you don't compare him to someone like me, but even compared to other athletes he gets a lot of scrutiny. I do think he has an alcohol problem and needs help. I just don't see where he is doing more than other sports athletes, and it doesn't appear to be impacting his game which would be totally different. I don't mind them benching him, they have that right, I just don't know what the endgame is. He has the popularity and talent that another NFL team would sign him if the Browns cut him, and he hasn't done anything illegal like 12% (made up number) of the players playing in the league have but are still starting. It seems like you said, like a preemptive benching in case he does do something illegal which is unusual on the professional level. Has any other active player ever been benched just for having a drinking problem with no crimes? There are players with DUIs on their record currently starting in the NFL.

I have mixed feelings about Manziel. On one hand, he is over 21 and not in any legal trouble (probation, etc.). Why can't he have a drink on his day off like millions of other Americans do? On the other hand, if my employer paid me millions of dollars and said "hey, don't make a public display of drinking and acting silly" I'd probably try really really hard not to do those things. I'm not a Manziel or Browns fan, but I can see both sides of the argument.

Not sure if I have seen a kick that bad on a professional level that wasn't due to a bad snap/laces wrong/bad weather or some other outside circumstance.

Patriots fans having such a victim complex is one of the best things in football.

I would think the fact he didn't even work there at the time would be more of a red flag and that he has no evidence whatsoever, but I'll let you "GUILTY NO MATTER WHAT" people have your fun Please don't become judges. To answer your question, he looks like someone scared shitless, like someone that said something to sound impressive to a person and now he is a national story. He knows he could be sued out the ass if he doesn't have proof, which I am imaging he doesn't since none has been shown yet.

Looks like the guy made the whole thing up. I love how people at the same time will say "it is the media's fault for spreading these stories!" and then say "why aren't they talking about Manning!" without a sense of irony. Maybe the media didn't jump all over it because it sounded fishy, there was no evidence whatsoever, just one guy saying it. I think HGH should be legal, especially for healing and with a doctor's care. But people going straight to "Fuck MANNINNNG!" because one random guy accused him of something says a lot about our society.

I completely understand the subjectiveness of such a thing, but for those interested I ranked the Top 20 Joshi Wrestlers of 2015. Mostly for fun but also to help people know what wrestlers/matches to seek out if they were looking for Joshi to watch from this year.

Yea I played KOTOR last year on my Win 7, but damned if I remember now what poking I had to do to get it to work. But it was flawless once I got it cranked up.

Hey guys. I was surprised with an XBox One Holiday Bundle for Christmas (yay!). I can look up Xbox One recommendations pretty easily (not that I mind them) but I do have a PS4 so I have played most next-gen games. The bigger question is, my 360 died about two years before next gen, were there any late-run exclusive backwards-compatible 360 games I should go back and check out?

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Reactions - SPOILERS HERE ONLY
Kevin Wilson replied to goodhelmet's topic in MOVIES & TV
I thought it was pretty clear she was using the force without knowing it, the same way that Anakin as a little child used the force without knowing it. The movie didn't beat you over the head with it but I thought that was the implication, she took something she had knowledge of (as a scavenger and mechanic she saw and understood a lot of different ship types) and then the force nudged her from there. Doesn't seem like something to get worked up about, especially if it turns out she was trained as a child and just doesn't remember, her story is far from being told yet. With the training, I figure the point of training even with those 'strong' in the Force is controlling it. Some things she did on purpose, other things were on accident. Luke didn't train with Yoda for long before he was good to go, I don't think she will be with Luke for five years or something. We can assume in the decades that have passed that Luke has picked up a few tricks he can show her. She just needs some training on channeling it and she'll be fine. -
I got different trailers then some: Civil War, Wave 5, Warcraft, X-Men, Gods of Egypt, and oddly Zootopia. Just got back from seeing it, great movie.

Honestly I don't think there should be. Leave those awesome stories on their own and make new ones, no need to really take characters from a story that is already not being used. -

I can't read 13 pages since I am not quite that crazy, but I loved the movie. I thought Daisy Ridley was fantastic, I am glad going in I didn't know who the protagonist even were or what happened plot-wise so everything was a surprise (except the things I could figure out from the plot while watching it). But I thought the acting was great (such a relief after the prequels) and think they set them up really well for Movie 2 without leaving a major cliffhanger that would piss people off. Really great movie, going to see it again on Thursday with a new group of people. -
Not sure how I feel about 7 PM Thursday airings counting for Friday. I mean money is money but for records, what if the next big blockbuster starts at 5 PM, then 3 PM... if you are going to keep records there has to be something official.

You sure? [snip] I think people forget that Vince got over Austin several times. OK, then replace Austin with Rock. It's funny that Vince wrestled all covered up like that. It's like, why bother getting all jacked? I'm not intentionally picking on ya. I'm just sayin'. Vince gets over on everyone he feuds with at some point, otherwise the dynamic wouldn't work. No I don't have a stash of Vince low blow GIFs. Honest.

I think South Park is like old school Family Guy in that reruns do really well in ratings (compared to most reruns). It is good background for me, I probably re-watch South Park from the start at least every two or three years.

Every negative situation - Cartman fighting with his mom, Stan's family at the dinner table and the conclusion- was solved with guns in everybody's hands. Nobody was shot, not even by accident, with tension at a fever pitch. Perhaps I misread it, but it was poorly orchestrated. The larger point is that it's not really even a show anymore. It's too predictable and not funny. You can literally watch the news and forecast what South Park is going to be about. Bill Cosby rape accusations? Yep. Trayvon Martin? You betcha. Redskins lose their trademark. Oh yeah. And on and on and on... I want Cartman to risk his friend's life just so he can go to Casa Bonita, Randy fighting other fathers at Stan's baseball games and Butters as a pimp. That's what made the show great for so many years. I just want a mix of that. I don't mind the topical episodes but I want the goofy funny episodes that focus on the kids too. This season was just too driven by the political and current events for me, I just would have liked a 'break' every few episodes.

It felt like they could have used one more episode, about ten minutes into the finale I had no idea how they were going to wrap up everything so fast. I also wish there was somewhere in the last few episodes more of a 'normal' SP episode but still in the storyline, like the Yelp episode with Cartman. The last few just flew through a plot that didn't seem fully fleshed out. I agree with whomever said that it felt like when they made episode one they didn't have episode ten planned yet, which SP normally doesn't but if there is a strict season-long plot is a bit more necessary. I don't care about politics or whose side they are on, I just want to be amused. I am a simple man

I guess since I am not seeing it until the 22nd I best start avoiding this thread pretty soon. Aside from trailers I know next to nothing about it and I'd like to keep it that way

I am really not sure how to feel about that season. There were some good jokes and parts for sure, and I enjoyed it, but I am not a big fan of having one storyline that lasts the entire season. I think that was done better last season, where it was a continuing story but each episode still felt like it could be enjoyed without seeing all the other episodes. It was more strange than great. I understand after 19 seasons they want to do different things but in a lot of ways it didn't feel like South Park by the end, the kids almost had different roles in some episodes. But it felt like in parts the humor was sacrificed to tell the story they wanted to tell, which was fine but didn't seem special enough to sacrifice some laughs. The final episode wasn't really funny and only a few times went for legit laughs, it was more of a drama with the South Park characters with more "ironic" humor (finding it easier to talk when holding guns for example) than what I would expect. I guess I'd give it a solid 7/10 as some of the episodes were really funny, but I am currently binge-watching South Park and it doesn't touch the first six seasons (where I currently am) to me.

Chihiro Hashimoto being on there is cool, she has been really fun to watch in the two matches I've seen of hers this year. She just debuted in the Fall.

The only good thing about the NFC East being shitty, is the next three Bills opponents are from the NFC East (not sure why they are all back to back). If they don't win at least two of the three I am going to be disappoint. Not completely surprised, but still disappoint. That game last night was one of the worst I've sat and watched in years.

I am sad I have to watch this game due to all the FFL implications.
