Ireland reminds me tonight why they aren't going to Brazil. So glad I didn't waste $50 to see tonight's seal clubbing by Portugal live. Afraid they are headed towards where Scotland are in that they aren't going to qualify again any time soon.

I still feel like the stupidest person on the planet for buying a ticket to one of the impact tapings this month in NYC, not realizing it was the same night as the Foreigner/Styxx concert at Pru Center. I am a fucking rube.

Love how the Revs are getting the grass field at Foxboro taken out in time for their game against us on Sunday. Of course they did this because they know Henry won't play on turf. And they'll wonder why only 10,000 fans show up.

Going to see Morrissey at Barclays Center on the 21st. Never a superfan but this is a rare chance to see a legend live. Wish I hadn't been stupid enough to get TNA tickets for the 26th as I'm going to miss Foreigner and Styx.

Most likely to join Villa at NYC, if my US Soccer twitter feeds are to be believed. Which would shoot NYCFC's Designated Player spots to hell before they even sign a domestic guy. (Actually, I think you start with 3 unless you buy an extra slot off a team with one to spare.) League will rig things for their new pet team. MLS is about as legit as WWE. As for Fat Frank, how ironic is it that "NYC's team" is signing a guy who drunkenly mocked stranded Americans after 9/11? We'll be sure to let him know we didn't forget about that.

I'm crushed that I have to hope my childhood hero fails miserably. Truth is that if the slimebag who moved them sells the team I wouldn't hate them any more. Better yet, if Karmanos were to hire Troy Smith (friend from the Trasher days who played junior for Plymouth) as the next coach I'd entertain forgiving him.

They also lost a final to the Isles in 82, so they need to lose to us to complete the NYS hat trick. Unfortunately it won't happen any time soon. The Mets will make the playoffs first (OK, it won't be THAT long).

My favorite HR story was that he was trying to sue Danzig over something, but his lawyers couldn't get to him to serve him. So the lawyers went to one of his concerts and tried to bodysurf on stage to serve him. Don't recall if they succeeded but it still made me laugh.

Before he retired last year Jerry Lynn had one last match with RVD and it was quite good. Lynn is one of the all time underrated workers IMO, and his greatest achievement is probably figuring out to have constantly real good to excellent matches with RVD.

True, but judging by last night's show they don't even bother to pump in crowd noise at this point. Crowd was beyond dead. And since I was stupid enough to get a $20 ticket for the Thursday taping at least I'll get to experience the crowd reaction live. If they present a show like last night they are making a big mistake -

I watched this show, then I watched the PWG DDT4 show on DVD. It was like going from Howard The Duck to Citizen Kane quality wise. The TNA show was actually worse than the FTW show I saw before the last EVOLVE show in Queens, as at least I knew that was a low rent indy show and not on national TV. Everything on the TNA show was either super lame or just plain boring. I really hope they do one of these shitty shows in NY because I'll at least get to be entertained by the crowd shitting on it. -
Either he will be great and I'll end up with free playoff tickets or he'll be a dud and the Sabres end up with another lottery pick in the deepest draft in memory. I really can't lose. I do think this was the first sane thing Garth Snow has done in years.
