Fair point (I HATE loud music/artificial noise at games), but I was talking more along the lines of fans wanting to literally kill each other and an atmosphere of hostility. For atmosphere Calgary fans lose a lot of credibility because they use thundersticks. Did like them using Johnny Cash as a celebration song though so there's that.

Those games (particularly the ones at the Coliseum) are as close as you are going to get to an Old Firm atmosphere in North American sports. The battles in the stands will be as ferocious as the ones on the ice.

The pop when Clutterbuck salted the game away was the single loudest crowd reaction I have ever experienced live. The scene in the parking lot after was just insane with fans going crazy.

The Nets are giving out free shirts for the playoffs, YAY FREE SHIRTS! But there are two problems: first is that the people there usually aren't smart enough to know the team wants them to wear them. The second is that their stupid lighting system leaves the fans in the dark, thus killing the tifo the shirts are supposed to create.
