To be fair the second series from Soule was solid-good. It was just hard to follow up Gillen.

The first Vader series was really good and gave some nice bits on how Vader found out about Luke and when he started planning in earnest to go against Palpatine. Its also led into a good cross over that gave more of horror movie Vader like we got in Rogue One. I thought the main Star Wars book from Aaron was pretty fun. Honestly the worst thing I can recall offhand was probably Poe Dameron's book which was decent enough. Its just that you could tell they were killing for time. There was one villain in that book I honestly wish did make it on screen. He was easily the highlight. Actually just finished up the first two issues of the new main series following right after Empire. Its pretty solid.

The comics have generally ranged from decent-good. Not sure how the books are, but it sounds this initiative will focus mainly on books and comics. i have a little more faith in them working on those especially since they seemed to actually run with proper meetings and planning unlike the films..

So basically the new EU to explain what came before?

Raw is El Hijo De Nick Patrick! - 2/24/2020

Garza/Humberto was good. As was Black/Rowan II. Enjoyed the contract signing. I liked how Shayna just let everything go to hell and enjoyed the chaos while Logan tried to keep her friends from murdering each other. Dawkins/Murphy leading into Rollins/Ford was nice. The heel ref deal in the main was a surprise. Not sure how I feel about it other than it saddens me that Seth has been written as a better cult leader than Bray Wyatt was. -
I hope they post Kagetsu vs. Hoshitmoto

Kind of surprised I never made a list Deadpool Deadpool 2 Blade Blade 2 Sin City Watchmen Logan Kingsmen: The Secret Service Kickass I could only come up with nine offhand and am not really sure of the order though the Deadpool films probably top the list. I have seen more. its just hard to rank which would really fill in the last spot w/o rewatching them.

The Big Show was interview was good. Dug the talk of how long it really took for Show to learn. Kind of surprised his favorites opponents were Cena and Sheamus. Its been years, but I recall the Sheamus matches being good. The Cena matches remarkably less so outside of mutli-man situations.

You guys do know the monster losing doesn't mean its the end of the character in wrestling, right?

Seth's face run was ruined by the long feud with Corbin, his dumbass tweets, and Seth being a terrible face in general. Goldberg doesn't believe in the hocus pocus and sees Bray as a dude playing minds games. Bryan saw Bray in a similar vein and wasn't afraid. Bryan just acknowledged the crazy as well.

Killing the current generation outside of a few names in side books in Black Label to sell an entire new gen is a terrible idea no matter how you play it. People were not going to jump on those new books. If 5G was a small event or another minor line it would be sensible. This was basically a New 52 sequel scenario and the latter didn't work out so great in the long run. And this is coming from someone who started to buy their books along the time of New 52. -

So people finally revolted against one of his bs initiatives, interesting. Honestly I'm not sure how or why he thought 5G was a remotely good idea. I don't hate the guy, but he really should have lost his job a while ago. If whoever replaces him is smart 5G will either become a minor event or just be scrapped altogether. Honestly if it was scheduled for October then scrapping it should be the way to go. Just keep the current teams on their books. -
Finally saw the first episode of S7 and I was quite pleased. The Bad Batch are a fun bunch. its a shame they waited till the end of Clone Wars to show them off.

Good for Kairi.

They did

I figured the piano bump hurt, but I totally missed Nakamura getting busted open.

As I suspected Sheamus is in the Elimination Chamber. Also looks like the women of Smackdown are getting one as well with Lacey talking about it in an interview with Renee on tonight's Smackdown.

The 8-man tag was good. The Symphony of Destruction match was pretty darn fun. Poor Braun and Elias both got cut/bruised, but at lest they won. The backstage segment with Bryan, Gulak, and Heath was fun. I liked that Heath actually did get a semi-competitive match out of Bryan via the holes Drew likely pointed out to him backstage. We better be getting a nice 10+ Bryan/Drew match soon. That could be soooo damn good. The little segment between Gable and Apollo was interesting. Would be nice if this was the beginning of them doing something with Apollo. The interview with Renee and Lacey was a good way for Lacey to own up to her past year as a heel. I'm kind of surprised the Smackdown women are seemingly gettign a Elimination Chamber match as well. Figured it wouldn't happen with the men and Raw women gettign ones. The Mandy/Otis stuff was nice. I like that its almost a certainty that either Sonya or Dolph were the ones who screwed Otis over. Otis getting all the love from the audience while Tucker went of about Mandy breaking his heart was good to see. Its a little surprising to see this angle getting so much love, but I'm happy for all involved. Naomi/Carmella was a little awkward at moments but generally decent. The two just don't seem to have the most natural chemistry despite a solid match being set up. I'm rigidity to recall if they have faced each other in singles before now. It also would have been nice if the ref didn't shout the finish out so damn loudly right before it happened. I'm not super happy Naomi is getting her shot at SSD. I don't expect great reactions and it means she likely will lose. The Goldberg/Fiend segment at the end was pretty decent. Its amazing how little Goldberg finds the time to say yet comes off so much better than 90% of the roster currently. Hopefully more get the freedom to speak more naturally.

Yeah I was hoping they would maybe do an arc a week, but that was probably too much.

That feels 8-9 years late but wow. -
When I see Hard Light used in Crucible it does not end well for the Hard Light player. It feels like the current artifact systems keeps non-anti barrier/overload/unstoppable exotics from being the king of anything in PvE.
-
That is exactly what it is. Its going for something different opposed to what we usually see. If it was going to be normal Trek then the series never would have happened.
-
So are they doing this one episode a week like Mandalorian? That is somewhat disappointing. Have't caught the episode yet,but seeing as how the season will end I'm not surprised the tone is a bit terrible. Ahsoka's post Jedi arc will probably the lightest stuff this season.
-
You people might have talked me into wanting to see Sonic.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Not saying they should ignore high end players, but they should weigh upon what they say against what the normal people say a little more before taking action.
