I'd love to see J'onn carry the show. I just can't see that happening for what would likely be half the season.
-
I thought that was an amusing overstatement until I read that last part. I truly pity the poor bastards who faced your team.

I assume we finally reveal just what the hell has this cult/organization so scared of synthetics next week.

I don't think think they need to leave Full Sail completely, but they need to do a dozen or so tv shows away from it. It will keep the crowd from burning out, and we can see NXT if a slightly different environment on occasion.

Kai/Nox was good fun by the end. Raquel had some nice reactions outside and did well in the moments she interfered in. That avalanche chokeslam looked neat though Nox just staring confused at what she did was a bit weird. Just seems like a phase we should have been past seeing that she already tried to murder Kai last Takeover. 1-2/ReDragon was good. Dug the post match with the Broserweights and GYV. Kind of surprised ReDragon is getting another shot and they are just doing a triple threat in Tampa. Liked the parts I saw of Swerve/Theory though its feels like they should be doing more with Swerve. Shotzi/Green was ok. Green over Shotzi in a ladder match feels wrong, but I kind of get it with Green's current push. I almost felt sorry for Grimes during his confrontation with Lee. They would not let him get a word even with Lee trying to give him a chance. I do like that Lee kind of realized what was going to happen early and was already prepping to pounce poor Grimes out of the ring. It was a fun segment. Dream/Roddy in a cage was easily the best match the two have had with each other. Dug quite a bit of it and the end was a neat way to transition to Dream/Cole.

Black Lightning was solid enough. Nyssa and Grace wanting to get married was ok, but I feel like the show has under-served the building of their relationship somewhat the past two seasons. Can't really stand this version of Geoforce they came up with. He just doesn't feel needed and is kind of a brat. Kind of disappointed they hadn't finished Khalil's story for this season. Feels like something that could be done more with later. Seeing Gravedigger's mindset was interesting. I don't dislike the revelation of his ties to Jefferson. Season finale next week should be fun with Jeff seemingly about to go full blast. Didn't realize she is pregnant. Good for her. With the timing it feels like the show would be better off taking a break though it would be interesting to see them try to work with it.

Are they really that bad? I don't exactly wander Bungie's boards or reddit outside of matchmaking. Usually if I hear about noise making its seems to be about the high level PvP crowd. Where is Datto in these crowds? I'm kind of curious since I know he has a hatred of Gambit that amuses me. I actually like Osiris and would be disappointed to see him go. Vance's death would be celebrated too much. Its why they never will do it. I assumed Jaime Chung not being the easiest to get is why they haven't used Ana too much. Its disappointing since I like her. She seems like a natural to take over for Cayde seeing that she has a similar brazen attitude to get shit done. Who is Shiro-4? I didn't play near as much D1 so I'm guessing his big moments were in that?

I honestly wish they weren't doing a Strong/Dream rematch in general. The two don't work all that well together and I was ready for Dream to move on to Cole. The cage stip doesn't feel necessary. 1-2 vs. ReDragon should be good. Looking forward to Kai/Nox.

Its my first memory of Truth since I watched very little TNA.

I dug the finale though the big "changes everything" reveal means little to me since I'm super intimate with the background of the Timelords having only watched modern Who. Honestly, it felt like an unnecessary waste of Gallifrey. Dug the end with the Doc in prison. Will be interesting to see if we get new companions next season. I actually like the current crew fine, but I wouldn't mind them being moved on. Feels like it was already starting anyways. I saw New Year's mentioned online. Still a long time to wait with how many episodes we get so I agree that they could/should lessen the standalone episodes to a third or less if they wanna go this big.

I do. Its been fun. Going to miss it.

The best chance of AEW working with any women in Stardom (beyond the gaijin) is actually forming a working agreement with Stardom. I don't see any of them leaving with Bushiroad money backing them. They were already paid decently well by Rossy Ogawa even before the buyout so they either have to feel incredibly unfulfilled or really want to work in America. Hana doesn't have that strong desire (she already mentioned having no WWE aspirations despite being a fan), and Kyona seems like a lifer. If Kairi leaves WWE it will be to go back to Japan so Stardom is more likely then anything assuming she doesn't want to start a family now that she is married. I thought I recall something about Hayter and Bea working AEW this month so they aren't gone yet and have only gotten better the past 6 months in Stardom. They are a particularly nice tag team. Deonna is supposed to be a good-great mat wrestler/grappler type like Madison Eagles. She just happens to also have little personality and charisma. She was only just building her rep in the indies when WWE picked her up. it was a mistake for her to join then because its likely WWE only saw her as a solid hand based off of her previous work with them. She should have stayed on the indies and continued to build her rep up. She just started to get onto US NXT tv this year though so I wouldn't expect her to want to jump quite yet.

I just hope they are actually new areas and not the same old. I still don't get the point of Grandmaster Nightfalls.

Plenty of people post pics with zero context and explanation. Its up to us to ask if we don't know what they are about. Honestly, since Stardom is the promotion I watch the most outside of WWE I actually get around half the pics and gifs he posts since many are from there. -

Uhm, more than him were fine with Goldberg winning the belt. Liking that doesn't make him contrarian so not the best example. Not saying you are wrong, but sometimes people just have different tastes. -
Mara, Petra...... Alright who is the third?

Or he may actually like the robot spider. Just because you think its dumb doesn't mean he does or can't enjoy it. -
The story part of this could be nice.
-
Barrett was over the top, but that was kind of was how he was in general during the early parts, especially with how he viewed and handled Cloud. Honestly, when he went off into that speech about Shinra I actually thought he was just a bit too toned down.

Moss is perfectly fine. Its just, as you mentioned, stupid to job Ricochet clean to the guy as Moss's ceiling is basically the 24/7 belt and as a tag wrestler. To be jobbed out like that and the recent Lesnar match from my understanding it just seems like something that would only happen if someone like Ricochet was asking for release or not re-signing. Beyond that though I actually disagree about Ricochet being can't miss, especially as face of the company. As much as the main roster hasn't done him many favors Ricochet has kind of sucked bad whenever given the mic, and that seems to have little to do with WWE lines. I think that has hurt him a decent amount. The Spider was dumb, but then again the whole cage thing was dumb. There was no good way out of of that unless they were willing to let Rowan handle a real animal which they were not. As dumb as it was I don't really think its something to get so angry about, especially since it was a minor mid card angle. -
This reminds me that Natsu sells shirts with pervert scum on them.

Profits vs. Murphy/Rollins and Rey/Humebrto vs. Almas/Garza were both quite good. After tonight I'm assuming Ricochet is not planning to stick around. Rowan revealing a big ass spider as his pet was ok I guess. Black vs. the OC did nothing for me. Liv/Ruby with Sarah as the ref was a nice idea, but none of those poor women are over enough to make that segment/match work. Kairi/Shayna was decent enough, but the crowd could not be bothered to give a damn. The final segment with Beth and Randy was good though it probably should have ended after the RKO instead of going to the commentary team to reflect and whatnot. -
Finished Lost in Space S2 and Altered Carbon S2 this past week. Thought Lost in Space was better than S1 and ended in an interesting enough space. Altered Carbon was good, especially dug Poe's story on the side.

Finally saw Knives Out this past weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am ready for more.

The voice acting felt fine for the most part though it did feel like Cloud was off a bit. Not sure how much that was the acting itself or the script.
