  1. And since they are both indeed blondes who are very much into fitness, it helps to diffrentiate one from the other if you remember that the scorching hot one is Dana Brooke and the smoulderingly hot one is Mandy Rose. Well, and Rose was the one who slipped during her Wrestlemania entrance, maybe that helps more? What? Otis? Ok, Mandy had an angle with Otis and Dana had a Twitter angle with Batista in the past.
  2. Yeah, I'm getting a bad Honey Boo-Boo -vibe from that name that I certainly do not want to be getting. If she gets paired up with Eva for more than this one shot, it is likely we getting similar stuff that Alexa and Nia ended up being a few years back.
  3. Over on NXT UK, Jack Starz will probably be even more devastated, now that he finds out that his friend and training partner Piper is definitely not coming back any time soon.
  4. A propos to nothing, but when Roddy Strong "quit" NXT, was there a plan in place, where that was supposed to lead? Considering Cole was AWOL for a bit there and Fish was ready to return, I figured 3-man UE would move on to one of the main rosters (which would probably work out about as well as Retribution and SaNitY did), but nothing seems to be happening. Can anyone shed a light on this one?
  5. That should make people think twice about starting shit up, but it might even make for a bit too peaceful NXT with everyone walking on eggshells.
  6. "This is what they insited upon me wearing tonight, and you all are going to suffer for it!"
  7. Yeah, I can remember reacting very differently to encountering people who looked like something out of the ordinary, depending on how the adults around me were prepairing me for it, prior to actually meeting them. Of course, in the early to mid 80's, the adults didn't really worry about traumatizing children (especially if they are not your own children) by scaring them on purpose just to amuse themselves. Some therapy-worthy stuff I could probably still recall if I really tried.
  8. The possibility of signing Strowman (or anyone bringing him in for a shot, really) reminds me of any time Brock Lesnar became available in EWR (was that the acronym of that game?) You jump at the chance, sign him and make room for him at the top, and three rounds later he gets creative control and starts ruining your booking plans. It was hard to resist the temptation, but it was inevitably a trap. I'd think really hard about the pro's and con's (in more ways than one) before making any big decisions regarding him.
  9. Way to go, Dexter! That went well!
  10. I don't know, man. If it was some long distance relative uncle you see once every few years, then probably. But overall, kids seem to adjust to some weird-ass looking people pretty easily, if everyone else behaves like it's nothing to be afraid of! Now, if the parents are talking the whole car ride there what a creepy looking monster your grandad is, then yeah, you'll be shitting yourself by the time he picks you up to greet you. Multiply this a few times if your parents ever tell you "if don't start behaving right now, we'll call grandpa Spivey and he'll come rock you on his knee again!"
  11. And the first caller gets the prize! Good job! ...to be quite exact, I was looking for something like "That's a clear and present danger every Monday night, when RAW starts" , but this is very much close enough.
  12. Time for a recap. Decent week, five workouts, all pretty intense, actually. Weight has fluctuated between 180 and 175, hasn't really gone down from last week. No extra walking or running, as morning shift just means biking to work on an empty stomach. Mornings were relatively chilly for the time of the year, but I wore a T-shirt, sleeveless hoodie and shorts to create some extra thermogenesis, but that was certainly the right amount of clothing for the afternoon ride back home. Monday was very much the usual. Pull-ups, dips and reverse shrugs with 55 lbs extra weight three sets each, then dropping 11 lbs each round while doing one sets of each, until I was doing the last round with bodyweight only. Then chest flies, lat pulldowns and push-downs with resistance bands and abs in the end as always. Got a really good pump going. Tuesday was leg day. I decided to go heavy on the squat machine now that I know how to ACTUALLY use it and did go over 400 lbs. These were nowhere near deep squats, but I did get decent amount of reps on each set, around 10 each set, one may have gone over 10. Then some calves. Wednesday was kinda "now what?", so I did 3 sets of seated overhead dumbell press with two 53lb dumbells and a set of seated hammer-curls with the same weight right after. Then dumbell rows with the same weight 3 sets for each side. Then I loaded 65 lbs into an EZ-curl bar and did alternating sets of curls and behind the neck overhead press. Thursday was bench. Reps really start taking a hit right now. I did go up to 275, 270 and 264 getting two reps with the heavier ones and 2-3 reps on the 3 sets with 264. Then I dropped 5,5 lbs each set and got 3-5 reps until I got down to 220. When that went only up to 5, I decided there was no point in doing more sets with it and did 20x132 to finish the workout. Friday was Trapbar and I did get 6x385 without straps but due to sweat soaked gloves, it was shaky and slippery all the way. Then 5 sets with 451 getting 5,6,5,6,6, which was really good. Some shrugs afterwards, starting with as heavy as 352 for a few reps then a few sets with 275 and then with 165 and 110. The gym is turning into a steamroom even with two fans blasting at full speed. The week of workout is done but I'm doing a 12-hour shift on Sunday so there will be more biking and slow walking around still to come. Maybe next week I'll update my pic again and get rid of my "before" photo.
  13. Are we in danger of witnessing tens of thousands of fans turning into vegetables at SummerSlam?
  14. I could be totally off base, but I remember reading Buffer got 30 grand a pop.
  15. Graig H, the odds are firmly in your favor. It will be alright. Send us a message once you log back on to make sure you are OK, and trust me, you will. I don't particularly enjoy flying (well, turbulance is the problem, obviously), but I, like billions of other people, have survived a whole bunch of flights over the decades. You will, too.
  16. Maybe that just a Terry Funk-like quip akin to the infamous "I don't see shit in him!" referring to Mick Foley, when someone said that maybe Funk sees a little bit of himself in Foley. Or at least you could decide to take it that way, as in a veiled compliment.
  17. I don't see a way in hell that Meiko could come up short TWICE against KLR, but if that's the case, then it has to be Valkyrie who in turn takes the title from her, eventually. Build her back up so she can avenge her only loss so far and become the champion at one go.
  18. Hell yeah, they did! Looking forward to the rubber match between the latter two. Wonder how Dragunov figures into that equation? 3-way for the #1 contendership, probably?
  19. And after the dust settles and everyone gets the chance to think about it, people who post "hellfire, brimstone and scorched earth, motherfucker", probably end up feeling bad about doing so. In the heat of the moment, it seems like a good idea, but in any longer run, it seems much less so.
  20. I say this about Dragunov vs Dar: Countering your opponent's finisher with your own is Fucking Professional Wrestling!
  21. Like she needs to be possessed to be wrecking people! Damn, that might actually be pretty bad-ass!
  22. C'mon, now! There's no unreasonable in this one. In all it's weirdness and defying the odds of ever actually happening this is one of the more heart-warming stories to ever come out of Flair's life. I mean sure, he's survived near certain death a few times, but if he can make this one stick it's almost as big as Jake the Snake beating the odds and staying sober for several years. So, I guess what I mean to say is: If this story makes you happy, don't worry about it and just let it make you feel as happy as it possibly can, man!
  23. The Shart Foundation! Wow, that was RIGHT there the whole time! However, out of respect for @The Natural, I will resist the urge to use that, or The $hitman as well, but very good call, nonetheless!
  24. Holy crap, Gordberg! Nothing to do with the clip above, just wanted to point out that the resemblance is indeed uncanny! Tempted as I may be, I will still pass on changing my handle to "The Shartimate Warrior" or "The Dynamite Shit" over this one!
