    That Shida match with Cassandra Golden wasn’t half bad. This will sound like a weird compliment, but I’ll say it. Golden wrestles like a woman’s version of Roadblock. Basically sloppy big woman wrestler, but has a potential to be molded into something if she isn’t given up on. I think she has a lot of potential. Not enough big women in wrestling today outside of Nyla, and Reina Gonzalez over at NXT who I don’t believe is used much. They should call her back to be used as enhancement talent to give her more TV experience, and when she’s ready do something with her.

    Yeah, Nakajima brought it. She totally redeemed herself from her previous AEW performance.

    I don’t need a match, I just need Jackie Gayda’s horrendous acting to put a smile on my face.

    Dark’s been really good. It’s not just a show where indie wrestlers get free reign to go buckwild anymore. It’s a genuine weekend wrestling show(on a weekday) that has extra angle advancements that didn’t make it on Dynamite. Also maybe I was wrong about Taz. He’s been really good, and restrained.

    Dr. Luther(No mention of Nightmare Collective) just challenged Jimmy Havoc to what sounds like a death match. So that might be at Revolution, or for the pre-show.

    The only real story that carried over from BTE were the initial stages of MJF being the Starscream to Cody’s Megatron. All prior to the launch of Dynamite.

    Maybe I’m misremembering it, but wasn’t Kovac’s terrorist girlfriend’s body, and stack obliterated in the first season.

    Zoinks!?! I understand move craft, but what can you get exactly out of part craft?

    I have strong memories about the 90’s Oscars, and even if the midcard portion of the show under delivered you know that Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and Tom Hanks will deliver in the main event. It’s time to bring Cruise back, and maybe somehow make Brad Pitt the elder statesman that Jack was. Or see if Christian Slater can fulfill his dream.

    I was happy to see Marty getting a standing-o like that after the cluster fuck with Iger this year. I mean they will win in the end, but at least for this night Marty won the hearts & minds of young, and old Hollywood.

    So when can Brodie Lee start? I’m now guessing he’ll be Matt Hardy’s muscle as the leader of the Dark Order.

    Probably got him more bookings this year. Might’ve been worth it. Plus it’s probably something personally he wanted to do.

    That about sums it up to me. It also helped they had some colorful drivers, and a winning driver who looked like Tom Cruise (Jeff Gordon) that you could market to mainstream America during that time.

    Okay so while the winners were great, the actual production of the show %100 sucked. The opening number, the joke writing, the lack of a host. They need an overhaul next year, because this show felt so sterile, and bland. Not the grand award I expect.

    “Hot Dog...The Movie” What weird an ambitious title that strikes up the imagination of the mind. “Hot Dog...The Movie?!? A live-action movie starring America’s favorite food icon.”... “No silly, it’s a horny teen comedy/ski film”. Great title, but an unworthy movie.

    BTW, disappointed nobody is talking about Taniguchi coming out with a basketball, and getting Rocky to join him for a IWGP Jr. Tag Title challenge by having him choose with “ 2nd Grade P.E. is rained out” indoor basketball.

    Good move putting the Never Title match at Korakuen. The recent shows there looked to have drew mediocre crowds for New Japan. Time to throw those fans a singles title match bone.

    Best thing to do at this point to salvage it would be to have her end up in the Dark Order.

    Not since No Country For Old Men has there been a Best Picture winner that deserved it, until tonight. Congrats to Parasite.
