The promotor also books NWA-East/PWX/Fight Society (they are on Highspots network) Anyhow for the male shows they booked Tully Blanchard to come in for a signing. They later booked Tessa for a show. The shows are also on HSN under Womensgate I believe. Anyhow, Intermission comes and it's time for autographs. Tessa had to be one of the rudest bitches I have ever seen. Came across as extremely entitled like she was better than anyone else (and she worked face) She demanded a certain kind of vitamin water, she wouldn't; let any fan put there arm around her, she hardly smiled in any pics, just truly horrible to deal with. On the flip side Renee Michelle is one of the nicest humans you will find. I was working on a show with her and a friend of mine and his wheelchair bound son came to the show. I told her how much he liked her work and she went over with an 8x10 and signed it for him, took pics, was a total class act. At the time I thought maybe Tessa had a bad flight/bad day, but after reading these tweets it really shows the kind of person she is.

This is great. Troy Lords is one of my best friends. We ended up working a job together and when he came out of training they sat us next to each other. When i saw his name wasn't really Troy it was like learning about Santa all over again. His ring name was "balls hot Troy Lords" he still wrestles in Pittsburgh and WV Jimmy Vegas is also great. He had a tryout with WWF and had some fun matches with Lawler and Sandman. He's still jacked and can put on a great match.

SCU is a team that would probably function better as a heel. Their whole schtick is campy and overplayed. Daniels at his age trying to act cool isn't working and he is 100X better as a heel. People want established workers and I sincerely hope this doesn't mean he courts Angelina and Velvet to come into AEW. Big no to Enzo and Cass. I would put the $$$ out to Lance Archer before Cass, and Enzo isn't needed when you already have MJF doing a great job and you don't have to put him on a leash. I would however look into more tag teams. Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition would be a good start. Butcher and the Blade are a good team but haven't had the chance to show their worth yet in AEW. I think people will come around to them once they are seen as more than jobbers. Tony has been the MVP of the booth. JR is always hit or miss. I wouldn't mind them bringing in a guest commentator each week to work with Excaliber and Tony once JR decides to call it quits.

All do respect, yes I do think Janella brings more to the table. I was there live for his match with Omega and it was great. Give him time and a decent opponent and he will deliver. Look at his matches with Lio Rush for further proof. I've known Matt Cross for 15 yrs and yes I'd love to see him on a bigger stage. Tough Enough dropped the ball when they could have had him.

It felt weird to showcase the whole Superbad team and showing highlights of Penelope ford doing in ring work but it was all against men. I was there for her multi woman dark match, but has she even had 1 match on Dynamite? She can go, I was at a live show and saw her Vs Baker and it was the Best work i've ever seen out of either. Surprised we haven't seen more of Penelope's in ring.

I don't think anyone else brought this up but for a show that really seemed to promote the Memphis legends weeks before the event, they really didn't do much with them on camera if at all. Lanny Poffo got some time but that was really it. Marko got the pop he did because he is from Memphis. It was an ok show but nothing special. Really wish the women's match would have ended clean. The Moxley angle was predictable but the bigger problem I have is say we get Moxley-Jericho on PPV in February. Where do we go from there? Omega seems to be going down a road to feud with Page, Cody and MJF have their thing going, who is left for Moxley if he wins? Pac? He's had a title shot. Who is left for Jericho if he wins? Darby? Dustin? It's hard to predict which direction AEW wants to go in.

I couldn't agree with you more. Fortnite started the trend and it paid off in spades. They now sell Fortnite toys, clothes, backpacks etc and are raking in the $$$ all off of a game that essentially is free to play. My daughter always asks why don't we buy any of items, and the answer is simple. We can win the battle royale without spending any $$$ so why spend the $$$? It's a fun and addicting game that anyone can play and not have to spend a dime to win. Plus the game evolves and you get all of the changes for free. Would you rather spend $60 on a game like WWE2k that has to get patched every month and still doesn't work or play a game for free that will entertain you for hours? Slam dunk decision. I also loved Life is Strange when it came out and that game wasn't expensive either.

I have it, Honestly I don't know why I do but no they haven't finished year one. I keep hoping for the golden age to be added but it's been what 2 yrs now and nothing from that period has been uploaded. If they run 2-4 shows a month it's worth the $10 if you watch the shows. I rarely have the time to do it. I did watch the Njpw and Cmll tours and thought they were ok. That is part of the problem though, I haven't seen anything from ROH in the past year or 2 that was more than "ok"

seems like they stuck to the format last night, opened with the big monologue, had a main event type match, jtts, jtts, back stage segment, tag title match, jtts, jtts, end with a main event. With the Lana/Lashley stuff thrown in the middle. It's not a bad style of booking and when you really think about it you get more actual wrestling this way.. People used to complain about a 3 hr show filled with recaps and monologues. Now you get a lot more in ring wrestling and people will still complain.

It's a gimmick that is perfect for the Ascension really but the leader will likely be Page or Marty with Brodie being the protection.

Everything from the US title match on was pure gold. Surprised they didn't put Tanahashi in a multi man match or something just to get him on the show. Kind of awkward not having him there. Big Naito fan and would love to see him win. Naito-Sanada title match would be fresh. Ready for night 2!
