The PSX Fighting Network RINGS game has one of the most difficult and rewardingly-deep grappling systems I've ever encountered. Because I was feeling particularly optimistic, I made another attempt to sign in on the Xbox Live app. No dice. Received the same e-mail as some others regarding a potential fix on Monday, but I'm starting to really question whether or not it will be sorted by Wrestlemania, as it doesn't seem to me as though the root cause has been properly identified. I'd made a call last Monday to the Customer Service department in the vain hope that I might be able to speak with someone with actual technical troubleshooting savvy regarding the issue, but after being on hold listening to AJ's theme on a loop for 12 minutes (which was...something else), all I received were platitudes and call-center 101 scripting about working hard to fix the issue (I work in the operations department for a consumer relations management firm, I know call-center scripting when I receive it). Alas.

I think the most annoying thing about the going full-screen with the WWE network is that it apparently doesn't override a screen saver setting, as most full-screen video applications (i.e. YouTube/NetFlix/Hulu) do.

There really is no Plan B for Arsenal when the usual style of play isn't producing results. I was extremely-annoyed by the penalty at first, but in the end it's hopefully an eye-opener for Arsene that he needs to change it up when a rut like this starts forming at a crucial point in the season. There needs to be more versatility off of the bench to create a dynamic catalyst in situations that call for a change in tactical approach instead of like-for-like (or marginally-worse but similar) replacements.

Haven't been able to log in since, and the WWE app on Xbox Live states that my e-mail/password is invalid. Fuck.

Jack Wilshere alone makes that a hilarious Wenger is an idiot moment. Wilshere doesn't dive so much as that he has shit upper body strength, and has to resort to bitching to the referees after he hits the turf from a challenge that he'd be able to withstand if he'd hit the gym at an acceptable rate. I get that he had to take it easy on his feet for a long time with the stress fractures and ankle issues, but there was no excuse for him not being able to get some free weight exercises in during that spell. Wenger blaming Robben & Co. is just out of frustration with Özil's confidence fading along with his fitness in his first season without a winter break. I'm hoping he isn't going to pull an Arshavin and wilt altogether. Think it's time to put him aside for the next spell of (relatively) weaker opposition in the league and start Rosicky or the Ox in his stead, maybe bring Gnabry back into the side on the right.

I registered for the Free NAB Challenge Pass at http://watchafl.afl.com.au , leaning towards possibly getting the full season pass. Has anyone from here signed up for the streaming service before and have thoughts on its value?
