Absolute shame that Punk is possibly going to be near the title again. -

Everything about this show was awesome(including Lucha/Wardlow just for the Christian celebration) except for “Pizza Cutter” Punks promo. Pizza cutter you ask? All edge and no point. Did nothing but pump up his own ego while selling absolutely nothing about the show. I really enjoyed the main. -
Exactly, but he had to try and stir some shit up before the show created just for him airs. I'll quit while I'm ahead, as I definitely have a bit of "drew" when it comes to Punk, but seriously, fuck that guy and I can't wait for him to piss off eventually.

What a shock, he paints himself as the one trying to "mend fences"

At this point, Khan deserves any and all fallout from kowtowing to Punk at every single juncture.

Nick Gage is facing Zach Sabre Jr on Saturday Night for GCW. I really want to see how this turns out. -
Normally,I'd agree with you, but all Punk does is screech until someone gets tired of his tantrums and just gives him his way.

This dude can't help himself from shitting in the pool. He's a paper skinned crybaby at this point that is softer than drugstore cotton. Over/Under on him losing his smile yet again and fucking off?

The second he referred to Omega as "Twinkletoes" I checked out on his Cornette-lite schtick. -

This is a TREMENDOUS listen. I really enjoyed it and recommend it highly. -
All of this. Personally, I don't want the dude coming back, but all I ask is that when he does, he isn't the guy to come anywhere close to ANY title because he obviously lacks the self awareness to carry it.

I live in Philly, so I would 100000% make sure I was there to witness.

with the heel heat Callis/Takeshita are already getting, adding them spoiling a Kingston title win......you might get close to people literally burning the building down. I'm in for it.

Absolutely. My disdain for Punk is documented, however, the MJF/Punk feud is bar none one of my favorite feuds in AEW's history and I'm not a fan of either admittedly. They did a fantastic job hooking me in and I proudly own a Punk/MJF dog collar shirt from PWT. It doesn't need a belt, at all. It has enough legs on it's own to merit more and I would be happy if it did, but i can't express enough my fear that they will run it back revolving around the belt and once again Punk will have his ego stroked by having someone do the job for him that he doesn't deserve.

The booking definitely failed Hangman once he became champ. I'm not going to go too far into my hate of Punk, but it seemed that Hangman as champ was always second fiddle to the booking of Punk when he should've been at the top of the card. His matches with Cole/Archer/Danielson were phenomenal and his reign absolutely had more legs to it before "That's not going to work for me" Phil reared his ugly head. I'm honestly good with Darby,Hangman,Kingston(this is my #1), but I really hope they don't think they have a story to finish with MJF/Punk involving the belt. Let Max drop it and then do it, Punk is the one person I don't think should come anywhere near the belt for the foreseeable future. If you want to discount my personal bias, i think he's shown he isn't mature enough to carry the belt.

Also, the story arcs in my top have been mentioned, but I'd also add the Hangman/Mox rivalry. Two dudes who just love to fight and Hangman being the only person to make Mox tap(? im not 100% on this), basically pushing Mox into overcompensating, full blown violent heel.

I second Kingston as the one to dethrone MJF. Especially if you do it at Arthur Ashe. I don't even care if it is a Tommy Dreamer like, one day with the title, he deserves it and it would be glorious.

I could listen to Eric Bischoff trash CM Punk all day, every day. It's just wonderful -
You know what....I honestly have absolutely no idea. I'd be keen to see that myself.

It's definitely the best sell of a Walter/Gunther chop I've personally seen.

Adam Cole is a wrestler who, while I don't have any problem with him at all, I genuinely cannot understand how is as over as he is. I do admit I like him better as a heel, but im looking forward to him v MJF. This is stillmy favorite Adam Cole moment though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkVdukF7hOQ

Aren't ROH tapings going to be with Collision going forward? I'm really curious as to how that is going to work, considering the sheer volume of matches they seem to put with all of these tapings in addition to a live Collision show. That could easily be a 4-5 hour commitment on a Saturday night, unless they trim it down.

Did Santana and Ortiz patch their issues up?

How the hell did that only get 4.75?
