  1. I like Bran's chapters. The mystical stuff is really interesting to me. Admittedly, he doesn't do much but walk around in Book 3, but his few chapters in Book 5, which the show has almost caught up with, were great. Bran's chapters also provide a lot of backstory which the show hasn't, because it would be difficult to do or maybe they've decided the history surrounding Robert's Rebellion isn't that important. But there is soooo much more boring uninteresting shit than Bran's chapters. Brienne walks around doing fuck all for eight chapters in Book 4.
  2. They all have good and bad moments. Phantom had a great lightsaber fight and even the most hardened Phantom detractor has to admit the podrace was pretty cool. With the exception of every moment Anakin and Padme are on screen together, Clones wasn't bad. The speeder chase through Coruscant, Jango vs. Obi-Wan, Geonosis arena battle, and Yoda fucking up Dooku's shit were all good scenes. The droid factory was garbage, though. Sith was good enough. Grevious was a non-character, but things picked up once Anakin turned. Admittedly my expectations had been lowered at this point, but I think if all the prequels had been at this level people wouldn't've bitched as much. I thought Jar Jar was funny though, so what the fuck do I know.
  3. The fact that I'm in first this early into the game means I'm heading for some terrible fall.
  4. Bran doesn't have to get to the three eyed crow, it could be a vision. I think the season ends with Lady Stoneheart or Dany's dragons killing a child
  5. I there somewhere I can watch that on a loop forever?

  7. Thoros didn't know he'd revive Beric the first time, it was just a funeral ritual. Melisandre could resurrect Jon unintentionally.
  8. What makes you think they're not doing Lady Stoneheart?
  9. Kevin Spacey and Paul Giammatti have this amazing scene towards the end of Fred Claus where they talk about Spacey's character wanting a Superman cape as a kid and Santa (Giammatti) not giving it to him.
  10. If Leslie and Ben couldn't date when Ben was Assistant City Manager why is he now allowed to be City Manager when they're married? Isn't it still a conflict of interest?
  11. That 40-man Rumble would have been really good if there had been 10 less people in it.

  13. I was pretty surprised I was the high vote for Rushmore. I was sure someone would have it as their #1.
  14. Election being this low is criminal, and you should all be ashamed of yourselves.
  15. I'll give you Bogus Journey, but the first Austin Powers was way better.
  16. Fuck me for still not seeing Hearts of Darkness. And Fuck all except two of you for not showing more love for American Movie.
  17. That was a perfect episode of television until the A-Team shootout at the end. Cut to black after the first bullet's fired would have been perfect. But I'm nitpicking. God damn. I finished the episode fifteen minutes ago and my heart's still pounding.
  18. I guess it didn't take Elysium to fuck me.
  19. I disagree. The show has always been good at balancing the off the wall conceptual stuff with continuity and grounded characters.
