  1. 1. plus kinda 3. I think he's still sharp but like a lot of older folks stuck in his ways I think the story (from Cornette's side) is he saw them backstage at a show and sarcastically said "Hi bucks we've got the only angle in wrestling anyone believes anymore" I also agree with people who like Mox cause hes matches feel like a real fight and a struggle
  2. Maybe my timeline is off but I think refusing to go with him as the top guy in the company not only left money on the table but turned off a number of fans by saying "no matter what you want we won't give it to you" there was a meme that I can find that showed hogan, then austin, then bryan saying its happening again. Imagine if Vince had never gotten on board with Austin's big push
  3. Worst booking decision makes me thing of Death of WCW type stuff. I would say worst booking decision as far as money left on the table in not going with American Dragon as your top guy in 2014/2015. TNA/Impact never got to the point where I felt they could have left money on the table. My answer tot his would be my runner up to the above. Punk winning the title and leaving the promotion
  4. I want -1 to disappear so that he can make surprise during Cody's AEW hall of fame speech hitting a discus clothesline setting up Cody's final match
  5. Where we supposed to know that The Fiend and Bray Wyatt where the same person?
  6. Alexander Hammerstones entire career. i've seen him ape HHH, Jericho and Hogan
  7. Personally (and I know this is probably a network request) I'd shave little match time. Sometimes it seems like matches go long for the sake of going long. Then let stuff sink in, let wrestler b respond to wrestler a's promo later in the show instead of the endless interruptions ect
  8. My only issue with the roster size is that the shows can feel like they are going a mile a minute trying to cram enough segments in to get everyone their tv time
  9. just shouldn't be used by more than one wrestler per show IMO.
  10. The ref in the Thunder Rosa match was noticeably bad with his counts. two matches in and I'm loving Willows "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" Hulk transformation the back to smiley bubbly babyface after the win also you had three consecutive cannonball sentons in three matches. I'd prefer they keep that for Bear Country (and call it Bearly Legal)
  11. This is always something that blows my mind. Vince had "The Megapowers Explode" angle over a year in advance. He would book mania to mania, now he can't even stick to a script for a 3 hr raw She's one of the few main stream breakthrough stars they've made in what the last decade or more. If I was a promoter I'd try to move heaven and earth to get her
  12. JD Drake dressed as a giant meteor
  13. Gresham is 1000% more interesting as a heel. I don't know what his contract situation is but I hope he and his association with Tully don't vanish into the ether assume he drops the belt to CC. as for the show... Much like Dynamite this felt like the tale of two shows for me. Dug the opening tag match greatly Brody and Hunggy as the battle of the Big Beef Daddies. I'd like to see John Silver face more Hosses cause its fun to see him as the little dog who doesn't realize he's only 3lbs going after the big dogs. Brody Lee Memorial All-Hoss 250lbs weight minimum invitational please and thank you. Tag teams I wish we could see more off in AEW; Bear Country, Butcher and The Blade, Renegade Twins, JD Drake either in The Workhorsemen or The Wingmen (cause he's twice the normal man he can hold down two man sized tag teams). I really think they have something with The Twins hopefully find something for them to do. Speaking of finding something to do hopefully Gresham can feud with BCC or something (matches against Nese or Danny Garcia could be good) once again the main event just wasn't my cup of tea
  14. Disco on Jericho's pod a few years ago was really interesting. He talked about the importance having a character and a gimmick, which is something I feel a lot of young modern wrestlers miss it's like they all got the idea of being a great worker from Eddie but thats all they took. He also talked about how there was a lot of competition between the younger talent and he knew he wasn't the greatest wrestler so his way of competing was getting a huge "Disco Sucks" chant going.
  15. One thing I would note. Jess Ventura was always a color man in broadcasting. So he knows how to feed the lead announcer, whereas Tony and JR would be two lead announcers. Can't just throw people together have to have lanes. I would imagine that is part of the reason why JR/Ventura was a stronger pairing
  16. My big issue is that you have a booth (when its JR, Tony and Ex) with three lead announcers. The Nitro booth had Tony as a lead, Larry/Bobby as color and Tenay chiming in during the Lucha matches doing his professor bit. Dynamite has no defined lanes so you get a lot of people talking over each other. Taz is good in the booth cause he naturally goes to color/analyst instead of trying to lead the broadcast
  17. I wonder if they ever tried to get Junior Dos Santos for more than a one shot
