  1. Prediction: Akebono over Low Ki Omori over Bambi Killer Shiozaki over Kanemaru Doering over Suwama Akebono over Omori Doering over Shiozaki Akebono over Doering
  2. She had a date with Vinnie. (let's see how many people get that)
  3. A friend and I were talking about how lame Aces & Eights is and it got me thinking... has Knux won a match yet since he debuted last year? I'm not talking about multi-man tags where he didn't factor in the decision. Has he actually pinned anybody?
  4. Tonight's Arsenio Hall was pretty cool. Penn and Teller were on and they brought out a guy that was Arsenio's magic teacher when he was a kid. Arsenio lost his mind. It was cool to see him so genuinely surprised and happy.
  5. Yeah during the second Hall interview, Mo chimed in once with a question (and a good one at that) early on then just kept his mouth shut unless Austin brought him in. My favorite moments from the podcast so far, in no particular order: Austin vs The Fly Pussy Snorkel Austin doing the G.L.O.W. rap Scrubber on a stick Austin interviewing himself
  6. The Paul Lazenby one is pretty good. Lazenby's done wrestling, MMA and stunt work so they cover a lot (plus Lazenby and Austin are friends). The David Lee Roth one isn't so good. The first half of it is Austin and Mo just shooting the shit and that is entertaining but when they bring in DLR it kinda tapers off. Roth rambles a lot. Haven't listened to the Jay Mohr/Adam Carolla ones yet.
  7. Jim Harbaugh doesn't get the ruling he wants, so of course the ruling is "biased" http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9642601/jim-harbaugh-san-francisco-49ers-calls-nfl-ruling-read-option-plays-flawed-bit-biased Christ I hate Jim Harbaugh
  8. Just watched this last week's Under The Dome... I'm out. *Washes hands and walks away* Seriously the first few episodes were good but the further they veer away from the book (and they are completely away from it now) the worse it gets. The last 3 episodes have been shit.
  9. Holy shit was the Franco roast awesome.
  10. Sounds like something that way too many people will think is an awesome idea for a con in Seattle. Go as Count Vertigo and Lady Shiva and interact with them. What else has been suggested and what is the problem with those ideas? Leon & Ada from Resident Evil 4 (but she's not a big RE fan). Mako & Korra from Legend Of Korra (I've never seen the show and have no idea who they are). Howl & Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle (this is the front runner right now I think but neither of us are overly enthused about it). Ooooh. We may have a winner. Thanks Pete. Never thought of The Killing Joke. I am ashamed of myself.
  11. My girlfriend and I are planning our costumes for Seattle's comic con next year (she wants to make them rather than just buy or rent them so we need time for that). Since it's 3 days we agreed that I could pick 1, she could pick 1 and then we would have to agree on a 3rd. We've picked our two (Darryl/Andrea from Walking Dead was mine and Peeta/Katniss from Hunger Games was hers) but we still haven't decided on a 3rd. Can anyone offer some (legitimate) suggestions? It's gonna be crowded as fuck so we don't want anything where one of us would have to wear anything that would make us hot in a huge crowd (so no dressing up as Batman, Joker, etc). We've batted around a couple ideas (I've been pimping Green Arrow/Black Canary like mad) but can't find anything we both like. Can anyone offer some suggestions? Maybe a costume you've done yourself before or one you saw at a Con?
  12. Don't care. Mr. Sinister can go fuck himself and his endless array of clones.
  13. Well Deadpool can officially go fuck itself. Been killed by the fight where you face a bunch of Mr Sinister clones 10 times in a row. On to something that won't piss me off.
  14. Tim White told the story when he was on Austin's podcast. Basically after they showed up drunker than shit and in no condition to work to a couple shows, Andre told them they were fired. Hayes (being obviously young and VERY stupid to mouth off to Andre) told him he had no authority to fire them. Andre told them he would tell the office the next day that either the Freebirds get fired or he quits. Freebirds were fired the next day.
  15. I forget which car company it is, but it's the one that features the female receptionist. I loathe the one where the guy brings out a lizard and she flips out over it. Her acting is terrible in it.
  16. I got Deadpool for my birthday and am LOVING it. It's really fun and funny as hell.
  17. Yeah this week's episode would have been much better if they had just had the rugby dude beat creepy little DJ dude into the ground until he was just a puddle of red goo. And fuck them for what I know will happen, the eventual death of my favorite character (Sam). Fuck them all. That episode had better come with Esther getting her comeuppance or I'll be pissed.
  18. Yeah, he was the best player and deserved to win. Makes you wonder what would have happened if the teams constructed themselves a little differently...I thought he came across like a smug asshole and I was rooting for anyone but him. How Lindsay made it to the final 3 (and works as an engineer) I will never know as she doesn't seem like she could find her own ass if you gave her a map. The killer reveal was very anti-climactic too.
  19. What is this from? I dont remember hearing about 3 Leatherfaces in one match before?
  20. Like Raziel said, the format of this show only lends itself one season anyway. You could say the same thing about Under The Dome, but that's getting a second season.
  21. My cousin has told me to just sell my car and use the bus to get everywhere. That's actually a good idea. I have a friend who lives in Seattle and neither he nor his wife has a car. He's quite happy with taking the bus or walking.
  22. I hope they wrap up Siberia this season, cuz it's not looking good for a season 2. The last episode had 1.8 million viewers. For comparison, Under The Dome had over 10 million.
  23. The traffic is shitty, but other than that this is a beautiful place to live (I live about 30-45 minutes north of Seattle). There's a ton of great places for hiking if that's your thing. The eastern part of washington actually has a different climate from the western part. Eastern Washington typically gets 300 days of sunshine a year (though summers in western washington are still pretty nice - it usually gets into the high 80s). As J.T. said, Vancouver isn't that far away and is an easy day trip. If you're into sports, there's the Seahawks and Mariners as well as a couple minor league baseball teams and a minor league hockey team. WWE typically comes here a couple times a year and TNA usually once a year but other than that the wrestling scene is terrible. UFC has been here a few times too. There's a big outlet mall in the city I live in, which as I said is 30-45 minutes north of seattle. Seattle's got a nice zoo and aquarium, and you'll fall in love with Pike Place Market when you go there. We also have a yearly comic-con which is pretty popular and getting bigger each year (this year's had Patrick Stewart as the marquee name). There's no shortage of stuff to do around here, and if you can live with shitty traffic it's a great place to live. As far as the rain, yeah it rains a lot but it's rarely so bad it gets in your way. And yeah there's lots of hipsters but they're tolerable.
  24. If he was mid-30s 20 years ago I don't think it that shocking that he would look close to 60 now.
