I concur. He's washed and there's literally no one I care to see him wrestle. Plus, Christian has a good thing going and if Edge shows up, he's inevitably going to get tied to him somehow. We all know how good Christian is, but whenever Edge is around it's always Edge and Christian with the emphasis on Edge.

Just caught the 2nd half of the show as I was watching Stigmata (Patricia Arquette mark over here) but really dug what I saw. Started watching partway through Baszler-Stark and while the ending was not as visceral as Danielson-Starks last night, it accomplished the same goal almost as well. I don’t know if the live crowd quite got what they were doing, but the announcers did a great job of putting over Zoey in defeat. I’m enjoying Finn Balor as guy awkwardly trying to integrate his two vastly different friend groups. I’ve been there buddy. Should JD McDonaugh have such a prominent spade on his outfit when Shayna is already there? Match with Zayn was good. I don’t buy Raquel Rodriguez at all and her stipulation seems dumb when Rhea has a whole stable to interfere for her. Get yourself some friends. I cracked up at her sad face when they cut to her after showing the highlights of last weeks match. Main was awesome, but I wish they gave it 10 more minutes and didn’t have the 2 commercial breaks (that seemed like they were only a few minutes apart). Hopefully this isn’t it for Gable. I don’t want Gunther to ever lose, but they’re only going to get so many opportunities to seriously push Gable and this is another one that’s fallen into their lap. But that’s a problem for next week, match this week was fantastic I’m a monster and loved seeing Gable’s kids cry. Pro wrestling kids, get fucking used to it.

I don't even have much to say, every thing worked for me. Pre-show was fun stuff and it did my heart good to hear the reaction that Hangman got. Miro/Hobbs was match of the night for me. Stat/Soho were put in the impossible position to follow it and absolutely delivered. Starks is absolutely made and you can use that shot of him defiantly saying no while being choked out in everything. The atmosphere was wild for the 8man and it seemed like 60/40 of the crowd was for the Bucks. Orange is also absolutely made and I think the money is him taking the belt of MJF next year. I'm super high on wrestling right now

Finished the first disc of Terminal Degeneration: The Films of Jon Moritsugu. My Degeneration (1989) is kind of an art house, proto-Josie and the Pussycats. Young band Bunny Love is signed up by a beef conglomerate, have their named changed to Fetish, play songs about meat being love, and become the biggest band in the world. Featuring a severed pig's head love interest and an attack by a mechadinosaur. Hippy Porn (1991) With nothing better to do, M goes to the art school her parent's are paying for. Not knowing what she wants or who she wants to be she, along with her friend L and sometimes boyfriend Mick, drink wine and attempt to find enjoyment in boredom. It does not work. Loved both of them. My Degeneration was visually much more interesting, but Hippy Porn was the better movie. One thing about all these movies is that the soundtracks fucking rule. Lots of fuzzy early 90s alt rock. Bigger names like Superchunk and Thurston Moore, but also lots of bands that were hanging around the LA trash art scene. Going to skip ahead to the third disc that has his later movies, before returning to the 2nd disc to watch his PBS funded Terminal USA and a rewatch of Mod Fuck Explosion.

Pretty ironic that for all his complaining about the part timers in WWE, that would have been the absolute best role for Punk. Come in, do a big feud like the MJF one, then fuck off for a month or two. Maybe like a slightly more active Sting. Give him a month away from the business to call MMA or whatever he wants to do, then bring him in to do a short trios run with FTR or whoever tickles his fancy.

As far as I know, AEW doesn’t do contracts with set dates. You’re under contract, you’re there when they need you. I don’t think WWE does really either, unless you’re being brought in as a short term special attraction like Goldberg. Maybe Lesnar? He’s kind of in his own world
